Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents in fulfilling the right to education for girls based on the implementation of Article 31 Paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution in the region. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of village heads, parents, and girls who dropped out of school. Data analysis was carried out using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that some parents showed a high awareness of the importance of education for girls and provided real support by sending their children to school to a certain level of education. However, there are also parents who still limit their children's education to only a certain level, mainly due to limited economic reasons and the influence of cultural values ​​rooted in society. Factors such as economic dependence on girls and the view that higher education is not necessary for women are obstacles in realizing equal access to education. The implementation of Article 31 Paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution at the village level has not been optimal because there are no specific policies or programs from the village government that actually guarantee the right to education for girls. This study concludes that parental involvement plays an important role in addressing the inequality of access to education for girls in rural areas, and further support is needed from the government and the community to create an environment that is more supportive of girls' education. The implementation of more inclusive policies based on the needs of the local community is also very necessary to ensure that girls' right to education can be properly fulfilled.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan program pencegahan bullying di SMP IT Baiturrahman Desa Sarijaya, Kecamatan Majalaya, Kabupaten Karawang dengan pendekatan yang holistik dan berkelanjutan. Program ini akan melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk siswa, guru, orang tua, dan staf sekolah. Langkah-langkah program akan mencakup  penyuluhan tentang dampak bullying, pelatihan keterampilan sosial, pembentukan komite anti-  bullying, serta pengembangan kebijakan sekolah yang jelas terkait dengan tindakan pencegahan dan penanganan kasus bullying. Evaluasi berkala akan dilakukan untuk mengukur efektivitas program ini dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan mendukung bagi semua siswa di SMP IT Baiturrahman.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya adaptasi dalam hal mengelola proses pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran online yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa guna tetap dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui zoom meeting dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru di lingkungan SMKN 1 Karawang. Luaran pengabdian akan dipublikasikan di jurnal buana pengabdian UBP Karawang. Kata Kunci : pengelolaan pembelajaran online, pandemic. Abstract This dedication is motivated by the need for adaptation in terms of managing the face-to-face learning process to online learning carried out by teachers and students in order to keep abreast of the times and improve the quality of learning in the classroom. This activity will be carried out through a zoom meeting using the socialization method. The targets in this activity are teachers in the SMKN 1 Karawang environment. Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses penyusunan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan publikasi karya ilmiah kepada guru-guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Karawang. Menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan, kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan pengalaman langsung dalam penyusunan PTK dan publikasi karya ilmiah. Diharapkan terbentuk draft proposal dan laporan PTK dari guru-guru, serta draft publikasi karya ilmiah yang akan diterbitkan di jurnal terkait. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian menunjukkan keberhasilan, dengan 13 guru PPKn SMA di Kabupaten Karawang aktif mengikuti pelatihan. Pada awal pelatihan, para guru mengisi lembar pretest untuk mengukur pemahaman awal mereka tentang PTK dan publikasi ilmiah.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the pedagogical competence of lecturers at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang. This research is qualitative research with emphasis on the CIPP evaluation model. The data in this research was obtained from documents, interviews and research questionnaires. The focus of this research is lecturers' pedagogical competence in managing a safe and comfortable learning environment, effective student-centered learning and assessment, and student-centered feedback. Based on the results of research assessing the capabilities of lecturers at Buana Perjuangan University through the CIPP model evaluation, the results showed that the pedagogical competence of lecturers at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang, was very good.
