Abstract

This study focuses on determining whether the use of letter card learning media has an effect on the reading skills of grade I students in Indonesian language at SD N Joglo No. 76 Surakarta in 2025. This quantitative investigation applied a Quasi-Experimental Design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. All grade I students at SD N Joglo 76 Surakarta in the 2025 academic year served as the population in this study. The sampling method used was total sampling, with 27 grade IA students as participants. The information gathering process involved observation, documentation, and testing. The analysis of the research data revealed a hypothesis test result with a calculated t-value of 5.104. The t-table value at 26 degrees of freedom (i.e., 27-1) and a significance level of 5% was 2.056. The normality test results showed that the calculated t-value (5.104) exceeded the t-table value (2.056), thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This research also found a change in the average student interest in learning from 65.07 (at the initial stage) to 81.63 (at the final stage). Therefore, it can be concluded that letter cards as a learning medium impacted the reading skills of first-grade students in Indonesian language learning at SD N Joglo No. 76 Surakarta in 2025.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development dengan model prosedur penelitian ADDIE. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi serta digabungkan dengan sistem pengujian Black Box Testing dan validasi kelayakan produk oleh para ahli untuk memberikan tanggapan mengenai kelayakan game “Solid Figure Shooter”. Validasi kelayakan produk dianalisis dan dikonversi menggunakan Skala Likert. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui kelayakan dari perancangan game “Solid Figure Shooter” sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran interaktif pada materi pengenalan bangun ruang mata pelajaran matematika di SD Negeri Grogol 01. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game “Solid Figure Shooter” memperoleh kriteria sangat layak menurut ahli materi dengan rata-rata persentase tingkat kelayakan 77,5%, validasi oleh ahli media mendapat rata-rata persentase tingkat kelayakan 82,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan penilaian kelayakan oleh pendidik mendapatkan rata-rata persentase 92,5% dengan kriteria Sangat Layak, sehingga game “Solid Figure Shooter” layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran dan sarana hiburan saat belajar mandiri kapanpun dan dimanapun.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies used to develop religious character in first-grade students at SD Negeri 01 Gantiwarno. Religious character is considered a crucial dimension in strengthening character education at the elementary school level, serving as the foundation for shaping children’s personalities from an early age. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The strategies identified involve structured habituation of religious activities, such as communal prayers before and after lessons, regular Quran recitation (tadarus), congregational prayers, and celebrations of Islamic holidays. Additionally, the role of teachers as role models and the support of a religious school environment significantly reinforce the internalization of religious values. These habitual practices contribute to the comprehensive development of students’ character, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In conclusion, the strategies implemented at SD Negeri 01 Gantiwarno have proven effective in systematically and sustainably shaping the religious character of its students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana pendidikan karakter dapat diterapkan untuk menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan melalui kegiatan gotong royong di lingkungan kelas IV SD Negeri Mojosongo II Surakarta pada tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dalam penelitian ini dan data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV, dan 3 siswa di SD Negeri Mojosongo II Surakarta adalah subjek penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman. Kebasahan data dihitung dengan metriangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik didasarkan pada hasil penelitian tentang bagaimana menerapkan pendidikan karakter untuk menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan dalam kegiatan gotong royong di lingkungan kelas IV. Hasil tersebut mencakup (1) memelihara lingkungan kelas, memastikan tempat pembuangan sampah tersedia, melakukan kebiasaan menghemat energi, memasang stiker perintah mematikan, dan menutup kran air setelah digunakan, (2) faktor pendukung: keteladanan, sarana dan prasarana yang tersedia untuk siswa, faktor penghambat: kurangnya kesadaran peserta didik dalam menjaga kebersihan, perbedaan karakter peserta didik, (3) kepala sekolah dan para guru berupaya memberikan edukasi kepada siswa tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, khususnya dengan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Selain itu, mereka juga terus memberikan motivasi dan dukungan agar kebiasaan baik ini tertanam kuat.

Abstract

Character education plays an important role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually smart but also empathetic and caring toward others. One of the core values that should be instilled early on is social care. This study aims to describe the implementation strategies, behavioral indicators, and forms of value integration of social care character education in IPAS learning on the topic “This Is My Place of Residence” in Grade IV of SD Negeri Ngemplak Surakarta for the 2024/2025 academic year. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the implementation of social care values is carried out through routine activities such as greetings and donations, spontaneous actions like giving praise or reprimands, teacher role modeling, and a school environment that fosters caring behavior. Indicators of students’ social care are reflected in their habits of sharing food, helping peers, and respecting school staff. Social care values are integrated into IPAS learning using a contextual approach that links the content to students' surrounding environment. In conclusion, the implementation strategies of social care character education are quite effective in fostering students’ caring attitudes, and IPAS learning serves as a relevant and contextual medium to internalize these values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis implementasi media pembelajaran Smart Box dalam Pendidikan Pancasila kelas VII di SMPN 7 Surakarta; dan (2) mendeskripsikan proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui penggunaan media tersebut. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dengan siswa kelas VII dan guru Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai peserta penelitian. Informasi yang digunakan untuk analisis dikumpulkan dari sumber primer dan sekunder menggunakan metode seperti dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik digunakan untuk menilai validitas temuan. Langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan semuanya diintegrasikan dalam model interaktif yang digunakan dalam proses analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi Smart Box dilakukan secara sistematis menggunakan model ADDIE, dengan komponen seperti tas Pancasila, kartu pertanyaan, kartu tantangan, dan poster latihan yang mengintegrasikan fungsi perhatian, afektif, kognitif, dan kompensasi; dan (2) proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dilakukan secara menyeluruh, mencakup domain kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, serta berhasil mengaitkan nilai-nilai tersebut dengan situasi dunia nyata sambil meningkatkan praktik demokrasi dan kerja sama melalui pembelajaran berkelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based educational game entitled "Math Fraction Adventure" as a mathematics learning medium, particularly on fraction material for fifth-grade students at SD Al Islam 2 Jamsaren, while also assessing its feasibility. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, while feasibility assessment involved media experts, subject matter experts, and educators. All validation results were analyzed using a Likert Scale. The findings revealed that the educational game obtained a feasibility percentage of 90% from media experts and 92% from subject matter experts, both classified under the very feasible category, as well as 76% from educators, classified under the feasible category. Therefore, the educational game "Math Fraction Adventure" is considered feasible to be used as a learning medium to enhance students' understanding of fraction material.

Abstract

This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and documentation and are equipped with system testing procedures. Black Box Testing and validation of product feasibility by experts were carried out to obtain responses regarding the feasibility of the learning media. The results of the product feasibility validation were analyzed and converted using a Likert Scale. The objectives of this study are: 1) To design Mobile and AR-based learning media on content analysis material for class IX of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta; 2) To determine the feasibility of designing Mobile and AR-based Informatics learning media for class IX of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta with content analysis material as an application of technology in learning. The results of the study show that the "tikOffice" learning media obtained very feasible criteria. Assessments from media experts produced an average percentage of 89.08%, from material experts an average of 94.66%, and from educators an average of 93.84%, all of which are in the "very feasible" criteria. Thus, the "tikOffice" learning media is deemed suitable for use as a supporting medium in the learning process and as a learning resource for students and other users.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation, analyze the forms of activities, and examine the role of Civics (PPKn) teachers in internalizing social care values through Youth Red Cross activities at SMP N 7 Surakarta in 2025. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving the principal, vice principals, Youth Red Cross advisor, Civics teachers, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated using source and method triangulation. The data were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Youth Red Cross activities enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes of social care, reflecting civic responsibility and civic virtue. The activities include in-school programs such as the Tri Bhakti experience and out-of-school activities such as donations, evacuation training, social services, and first aid treatment for minor injuries. Furthermore, Civics teachers play roles as educators, instructors, and mentors in fostering students’ social care character, ensuring that the internalization of these values is carried out in a structured and sustainable manner.
