Abstract

The use of gadgets always has an impact on the development of children's behavior, because gadgets have various interesting, varied, and flexible features and applications so that they can increase the appeal for everyone, especially among children. Nowadays, gadgets can have a negative impact on the development of children's behavior. Behavioral changes that tend to be negative where as a result of playing gadgets children become easily angry, rebellious, lazy to learn, and can imitate behavior in gadgets. Children have now become active consumers where many electronic products and gadgets make children their market. Gadgets are expected to provide benefits to their users, where users must be able to operate gadgets properly, know the function of gadgets, and know the benefits of gadget applications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' managerial skills on teachers' work commitment in vocational high schools (SMK) accredited with a "B" in Pamijahan District, Bogor. The research is quantitative in nature, using a survey method conducted through interviews, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires to 56 respondents, who are teachers in these schools. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a total sampling approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires that included indicators of managerial skills and teachers' work commitment. The collected data were then analyzed using simple linear regression to test the impact of managerial skills on teachers' work commitment. The results of the study indicate that the school principals' managerial skills have a positive and significant influence on teachers' work commitment. The regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 40.441 + 0.582X, with a t-value of 5.382, which is greater than the t-table value (2.395), and a p-value of 0.000, which is smaller than α = 0.01, indicating a significant effect of managerial skills on teachers' work commitment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that school principals develop their managerial skills, particularly in planning, organizing, and effective communication, to enhance teachers' work commitment. Furthermore, it is suggested that the local education office provide further training for school principals in managerial skills to create a more conducive work environment for teachers.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in forming the character of class IV students at SDN Gunung Picung 07 Pamijahan Bogor. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in forming the character of students and to analyze the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. The research method uses qualitative field research. The research object consisted of key informants, namely the school principal and grade IV teacher specialization informants. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Triangulation technique. The research results conclude two main points. First, the implementation of P5 at SDN Gunung Picung 07 in forming the character of students, namely by applying the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely: 1) Having faith, being devoted to God Almighty and having noble character; 2) Independent; 3) Working together; 4) Global diversity; 5) Critical reasoning; and 6) Creative. Second, the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing P5 at SDN Gunung Picung 07, namely: 1) lack of understanding and support for the implementation of P5 in the independent curriculum; 2) difficulty in creating the P5 Project Module; and 3) the difficulty of instilling the values ​​of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in students.

Abstract

Teacher teaching performance is basically a performance that is able to plan, implement and evaluate the results of the learning process in the classroom in carrying out their professional duties. This study aims to 1) determine whether there is the effect of learning leadership on teacher teaching performanc. This research was conducted at SMPN Pamijahan sub-district, Bogor Regency. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire and interviews. The method of collecting questionnaire data was carried out on respondents by taking the sample using the Non Probability Sampling technique, using the saturated sampling method. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive influence between learning leadership on teacher teaching performance. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted

Abstract

Innovative work behavior is an individual action that is useful for certain organizations by recognizing a problem, coming up with new ideas, developing new ideas, and realizing every new idea with prescribed procedures. This research was conducted in private high schools throughout the Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to explain the effect of transformational leadership on teachers' innovative work behavior. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The sample used was 110 teachers, through probability sampling method with the type of proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that transformational leadership had a positive effect on teachers' innovative work behavior. This shows that the stronger the effect of the principal's transformational leadership, the higher the teacher's innovative work behavior will be. Therefore, to improve innovative work behavior in teachers, it is expected that there will be an increase in the indicators of transformational leadership of school principals

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan karismatik terhadap etos kerja stakeholder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunak an adalah jenis penelitian inferensial dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian adalah Kepala sekolah Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana dan responden penelitian ini adalah seluruh stakeholder Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non probability sampling yaitu dengan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif responden, analisis statistik deskriptif variabel, uji asumsi dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunkan analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji-t dan uji koefisien determinasi (∆R2). Hasil penelitian yang diolah dengan menggunakan program komputer SPSS versi 16,0 for windows menunjukan bahwa hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan karismatik berpengaruh positif terhadap etos kerja stakeholder pada Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien beta (β) sebesar 0,269 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,034. Kontribusi pengaruh kepemimpinan karismatik terhadap etos kerja stakeholder sebesar (∆R2) 0,168 atau 16,8% (pengaruh cukup berarti) bisa dibuktikan para stakeholder dan para santri sudah bisa meraih prestasi- prestasi yang membanggakan baik akademik maupun nonakademik. Penerapan kepemimpinan karismatik terhadap etos kerja stakeholder pada Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor dilihat dari 4 aspek kepemimpinan karismatik yang diterapkan oleh pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yaitu di antarnya: kemampuan, kepercayaan diri, keyakinan, dan kepekaan lingkungan. Kepemimpinan karismatik berpengaruh positif terhadap etos kerja stakeholder pada Pondok Pesantren Modern Man Ana Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,269 menunjukan bahwa apabila kepemimpinan karismatik meningkat sebesar 0,269; maka etos kerja stakeholder meningkat sebesar 0,269; thitung sebesar 2,249 > ttabel 2,059 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan karismatik (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel etos kerja stakeholder (Y). Nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,034 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kepemimipinan karismatik (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel etos kerja stakeholder (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's leadership in improving school performance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, and the type of research used is literature. The results of the study conclude that the principal's leadership in improving school performance can be done through strategic steps by the principal by involving teachers in every decision. In addition, it is also necessary to carry out a program to improve the quality of learning. Personally, a school principal must also be able to actively establish internal communication between school equipment and establish joint external communication with students and parents. Furthermore, school principals also need to increase the enthusiasm of teachers in planning and implementing each policy and program that has been planned. The principal's strategic steps need to be based on mutual trust and commitment. The role of school principals who use a transformational leadership model will have a number of policies that are not only intended to respond to current interests but also look far into the future. Transformational leadership patterns as a leadership model that can be a master key in efforts to improve school performance as educational service providers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the principal's leadership strategy in building an innovative organizational culture at Al-Azhar Junior High School, Banjar City. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that school principals apply a transformational leadership style characterized by the development of a shared vision, teacher empowerment, and the creation of a collaborative environment. The main strategies used include strengthening the learning community, the use of digital technology, and effective and empathetic communication. The principal also succeeded in fostering innovative values such as openness, courage to take risks, and a commitment to continuous learning. Despite facing challenges such as resistance to change and limited resources, principals are able to create an organizational climate that is supportive of innovation. These findings affirm the importance of visionary leadership in shaping an organizational culture that is adaptive and responsive to changes in education policy

Abstract

The principal holds a strategic role as an academic supervisor in ensuring the success of curriculum development at the school level. This study aims to describe the principal's role in carrying out academic supervision that supports curriculum development at SMA Ibnu Hajar. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal of SMA Ibnu Hajar fulfills this role through monitoring lesson planning, providing continuous teacher guidance, facilitating the development of teaching materials, and evaluating curriculum implementation. The principal also demonstrates the ability to foster professional collaboration, motivate teachers, and cultivate a reflective school culture. These academic supervision strategies have proven effective in enhancing the quality of teaching and aligning the curriculum with students’ learning needs. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of effective instructional leadership and academic supervision practices that drive curriculum improvement in schools.
