Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen organizational culture, increase job satisfaction, and improve the performance of operational managers in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using a qualitative empowerment approach, the program was implemented through a series of workshops and training sessions designed to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills among MSME managers. Program participants, consisting of 25 operational managers from various sectors such as food processing, retail, and small-scale manufacturing, were selected based on their role in day-to-day operations and their potential to influence organizational culture. The program was evaluated through pre and post assessments, interviews, and observations, which showed significant improvements in organizational culture awareness, leadership skills, communication, and overall job satisfaction. Participants also demonstrated improved teamwork and problem-solving abilities. These improvements contributed to higher operational efficiency, which in turn improved business performance. These findings suggest that empowering operational managers with the necessary tools to create a positive work environment is key to the success and sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of profitability in moderating the influence of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value. The background of this study is based on the results of previous studies that showed inconsistent findings regarding the influence of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value, as well as differences in results regarding the moderating role of profitability. The research method used was a systematic literature review, examining various national and international scientific articles relevant to the topic from 2020–2025. The results of the study indicate that capital structure and dividend policy influence firm value, but the nature of this influence varies across industries and research periods. Profitability generally has a positive effect on firm value, although some studies report conflicting results. Furthermore, the role of profitability as a moderating variable remains controversial, with some studies demonstrating a reinforcing effect, while others find no moderating effect. This study concludes that the relationship between capital structure, dividend policy, and profitability on firm value is contextual, influenced by industry factors and external conditions such as economic crises. Therefore, further research is needed with a longer period, broader sector coverage, and a more comprehensive methodological approach to obtain more consistent conclusions.

Abstract

Companies generally strive to enhance their value to maximize profits and shareholder wealth. The Firm Value is shaped by multiple factors, including internal aspects like financial performance and external influences such as inflation, which can impact market perception of asset value and the company's future potential. A company's financial performance, including liquidity, leverage, and dividend policy, directly impacts its valuation. Firms with strong financial performance generally achieve higher valuations. This study investigates the impact of liquidity, leverage, and inflation on firm value, with dividend policy acting as a moderating variable. The study targets energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2018 and 2023. Out of a total population of 87 companies, 13 met the criteria for sampling. The findings indicate that liquidity and inflation positively affect firm value, leverage has no significant impact, and dividend policy does not act as a moderating factor in the relationship between liquidity, leverage, and inflation with firm value.
