Abstract

Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is an infectious desease cause by bacteria or viruses that attack the respiratory organs. This research aims to determine the best panel data regression model in the case of the factors that influence the number of patients with ARI in East Nusa Tenggara Province from 2014 to 2018. Response variable used is the number of ARI patients. Independent variables were observed among others, low birth weight, malnutrition, immunization, exclusive breastfeeding, and vitamin A in 22 districts or city in East Nusa Tenggara. The results showed that the Random Effect Models eliminate outlier data on response variable is a model that can describe the influence of independent variables on the number of patients with ARI in East Nusa Tenggara Province from 2014 to 2018. Variables that influence of ARI are malnutrition and exclusive breastfeeding with a coefficient of determination (R) of 9,2%.

Abstract

In the regression analysis, the amount of rice production that far exceeds the general production can be categorized as outlier data. The existence of outliers causes the use of the least squares method to estimate parameters to be deemed inappropriate. To deal with outlier data, it is necessary to use methods that are robust or resistant to outlier data. Robust is defined as insensitivity or rigidity to outlier data. The purpose of this study is to obtain a robust regression model using the M estimation, S estimation and MM estimation methods and determine the factors that have a significant effect on rice production in East Nusa Tenggara Province. The model using the S estimation method is the best model, namely y = 3,895.023 + 1.870 X1 - 60.926 X5 and the factors that have a significant effect on rice production are harvested area and air temperature.

Abstract

Hospital is an organization run by professional medical personnel who are well organized in terms of medical infrastructure, continuous nursing care, and diagnosis and treatment of diseases suffered by patients. According to the system, hospitals are run by workers such as doctors, nurses, hospital employees, and also cleaners such as cleaning services. The purpose of this study was to determine the cleaning service satisfaction of Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johanes Kupang hospital as an important component of the implementation of activities in the hospital using the servqual and importance performance analysis (IPA) methods. The result of this study is that the cleaning service as a whole is dissatisfied with the hospital side because it is based on the results of calculating the gap or the difference between the expected and reality values, namely -14.30044.
