Abstract

The concept and theory of lasers was first put forward by Albert Einstein in 1917 and was first realized by researcher Theodore. H. Maiman in 1960. The invention of the laser is based on the theories of quantum physics, but research on the properties and optical characteristics of lasers, especially diode lasers is rarely carried out, so references for developing and applying them are very difficult to obtain. Lasers have coherent properties, which are parallel, massive, single-color (monochromatic) light propagations, which are different from incandescent white (polychromatic) light which is commonly known everyday from the sun, fire, lamps and so on. Laser diode devices have various types of power, which of course differ in the amount of voltage, current, strength of light in each condition (Uiga. E, 2014).The purpose of this research is to examine the physical characteristics of the diode laser, to determine the range of the current-voltage limits and the divergence angle in the radiant, to determine the characteristics of the laser diode with different powers. The research method used is experimental, which is carried out by testing variables and measuring the magnitude of the voltage, current, divergence of different powers from the diode laser.Based on the experimental results, the diode laser has a characteristic phase of the Volt-Ampere change called the laser phase. There are 3 phases that have been proven, namely the spontaneous emission phase, the transition phase, the stimulated emission phase and one characteristic that has been found, namely the power characteristics, the strong light (flux) (Uiga. E, 2014 ). The resulting data and variables can be used as a reference, study for research so that they can be used as a basis for further research. Keywords: Laser-Diode, Divergence, voltage, current, power

Abstract

Technology helps users do various things and activities that can produce the latest and innovative technology in various fields, including education. MTs Ma'arif Tembarak is a formal secondary level educational institution under the Ministry of Religion in Temanggung Regency. In carrying out archive management still using conventional methods and has not digitized archives, with 1,500 archive data recorded over 3 years. This causes uncertainty in archival documents and the history of follow-up to managed documents as well as difficulty in searching for data and documents. This research aims to design and build a web-based e-archive system for educational institutions to provide solutions to the problems faced. The method in this research uses the waterfall method with system visualization using DFD and ERD in the database management illustration used. The e-archive system was developed on a web basis with PHP and MySQL programming languages using the CodeIgniter framework and tested using the black box testing method with valid results. Next, a user evaluation was carried out on 5 respondents according to user level with the results of the feasibility percentage being 72%, based on the Likert scale, it was said that the impact or use value was good.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). One of the most influential technological applications is the e-commerce information system, which facilitates online buying and selling activities without spatial and temporal limitations. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce system as a digitalization innovation for UMKM coffee businesses at Warung Kopi Garasi Ndeso, with the goal of expanding market reach and improving business management efficiency. The system development process adopts the Waterfall model, consisting of several stages: communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment. The system design employs Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), while implementation utilizes the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database management system. System testing was carried out using the Blackbox Testing method to verify functionality, and user evaluation was conducted using the Likert scale involving 18 respondents, including the owner, admin, and customers. The testing results show that all system functions operate properly and meet user requirements. The user evaluation obtained a score of 647 out of 810 or 79.88%, indicating that the developed web-based e-commerce system has a good level of usability. Therefore, the implementation of digital innovation through this e-commerce system effectively supports Warung Kopi Garasi Ndeso in enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market reach, and strengthening the competitiveness of local coffee UMKM in the digital era.

Abstract

Supplier selection is an important process in supporting a company's operational activities. CV Semangat Baru still conducts supplier evaluations manually, causing the decision-making process to become less effective, time-consuming, and prone to errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system to assist in selecting the best supplier using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The research method used is software engineering with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall development model. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The criteria used in the supplier selection process include product quality, delivery timeliness, price, delivery distance, and supplier reputation. The TOPSIS method was applied to rank suppliers based on the highest preference value. The results showed that the system was able to support the supplier evaluation process in a more systematic, objective, and efficient manner. Based on Black Box testing, all system functions operated properly with a success rate of 100%, while user evaluation results obtained a feasibility score of 91.3%, categorized as highly feasible. Therefore, the web-based decision support system using the TOPSIS method can assist CV Semangat Baru in determining the best supplier more quickly and accurately.
