Abstract

Abstract:This article was an assessment of breaking badhabits theory offered by E.R. Guthrie by providing reinforcement from an Islamic teaching point of view so that it could be used as a solution to break bad habits of students in a lesson. There are three methods offered by E.R. Guthrie in breaking bad habits: First, the threshold method. This method is in accordance with the four stages of break the habit of drinking khamrfound in Qur'an. Second, the fatigue method. This method is in accordance with the command to be patient in telling family members to pray as stated in Thāhā verse 132. Third, the incompatible response method. This method is in accordance with Islamic views, one of which is found in surah al-Burûj verses 10-11. In addition to the above three methods, in the view of Islam, there areelementsin a lesson that are no less important, namely the environmental elements, that good or bad the character of an individual canbe formed by the surrounding environment, as implied in the hadith of the Prophet Mohamed about the parable of a good friend such as musk oil traders and bad friends such as the blacksmith's fire blower.

Abstract

This article was a study of the intersection of philosophy with Arabic. Philosophy is essentially an attempt to understand or understand reality in terms of its meanings and values. Reality is something that symbolizes language. Therefore, language is a vital tool in philosophizing, as a tool to communicate the results of thoughts. The intersection of philosophy with Arabic began in the Umayyad period, preceded by a period of conquest when Arabs took over areas previously under Roman rules, such as Egypt and Syria in the 7th century. The intersection of these Greek thoughts with Arabic occurred when the caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan carried out Arabization reforms massively. During the Abbasid dynasty, translation activities dominated. The progress of the translation activity was fully supported by the authorities with the establishment of an institution called Bayt al-h}ikmah. This translation activity was one of the drivers of the rebirth of philosophical studies. We can say that without the contribution of translation in the golden age of Islam, Europe would never have emerged from the dark ages.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to determine the extent to which the intensity of using the internet as online literature influences students' plagiarism behavior. This research is classified as quantitative research using a questionnaire instrument distributed to 65 students of University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Class of 2022-2023 as respondents selected through random sampling. In analyzing and calculating the field data, the researcher employed tests for validity, reliability, normality, and linearity of data, as well as hypothesis testing using regression and correlation analysis. The research findings indicate that the intensity level of students towards the internet as online literature falls into the moderate category with a score of 59.22%, while the plagiarism rate is 42.69% categorized as low. However, the obtained significance level is 0.140 > 0.005, indicating insignificance, meaning there is no significant correlation between the two variables, although there is a correlation coefficient value of 0.185 classified as very low correlation. The coefficient of determination is 3.4%, indicating that 97.6% of the variance is influenced by other variables.Keywords:Internet, Online Literature, Plagiarism Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat intensitas dalam menggunakan internet sebagai literatute online dalam mempengaruhi perilaku plagiarisme mahasiswa. Penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket yang disebar pada 65 mahasiswa UST Angkatan 2022-2023 sebagai responden yang diambil secara random (random sampling), dalam menganalisa serta menghitung data hasil lapangan, peneliti menggunakan uji validitas realibilitas, uji normalitas dan linieritas data serta uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji regresi dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat intensitas mahasiswa terhadap internet sebagai literatur online dalam kategori sedang dengan skor 59,22%, dengan tingkat plagiarisme sebesar 42,69 % dengan kategori rendah, sedangkan tingkat signifikasi yang didapat sebesar 0,140 > 0,005 maka dikatakan tidak signifikan, yang artinya tidak adanya korelasi yang signifikan di antara kedua variabel, meski terdapat nilai koefesien korelasi sebesar 0,185 dengan kategori tingkat korelasi sangat rendah, dengan nilai koefesien determinasi sebesar 3,4 % sedangkan 97,6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Kata Kunci: Internet, Literatur Online, Plagiarisme

Abstract

Pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu keahlian bagi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kualitas karya ilmiah. Aplikasi Mendeley merupakan salah satu cara mengelola daftar pustaka yang diperlukan untuk menunjang keterampilan karya tulis ilmiah tersebut. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam penulisan ilmiah yang baik dan manajemen referensi yang efektif. Metode pelatihan ini mencakup empat sesi utama: 1). Presentasi; penyampaian materi mengenai penyampaian umum tentang karya ilmiah dan  tahapan penulisan karya ilmiah, mulai dari proses penggalian ide hingga tahap publikasi. Serta tata cara penggunaan aplikasi pendukung untuk penulisan karya ilmiah, dengan fokus utama pada Mendeley. 2) Diskusi, 3). Praktik dan 4). Evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan ini adalah peserta dapat melakukan penulisan karya ilmiah yang benar dan menyusun daftar  pustaka  secara  otomatis menggunakan aplikasi  Mendeley. Pelatihan ini memiliki manfaat yang besar sehingga peserta dalam pelatihan ini memiliki atensi yang sangat tinggi untuk memanfaatkan aplikasi Medeley dalam penugasan akhir dan berdampak besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas penulisan karya ilmiah mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan.

Abstract

The intracurricular learning process tends to lack high character values, especially Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah characters at Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools. Students only focus on the learning process with knowledge output. Attitudes and skills are often forgotten in the teaching and learning process. Students have not yet installed the 4C skills (critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity). This research is to develop a character education model in the intracurricular learning process, namely the Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah character education model for Muhammadiyah elementary school students. The AIK character education model will be developed with 4C skills (critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity) as the latest outcome that 4C skills are able to help and develop students' AIK character in thinking creatively and facing problems. It is hoped that the AIK character model based on 4C skills will be able to score AIK character scores with 4C skills in the intracurricular learning process at Muhammadiyah elementary schools. Highlights: Integrating 4C skills into character education at Muhammadiyah schools. Developing moral values and competencies in students through the Al-Islam model. Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam menunjang perekonomian nasional. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi pelaku UMKM adalah rendahnya inovasi produk berbasis potensi lokal. Desa Karang, Kecamatan Sekaran, Kabupaten Lamongan, memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah, seperti serai (Cymbopogon citratus) dan beras, yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku untuk menciptakan produk inovatif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM melalui pelatihan pembuatan sabun cuci piring berbahan dasar serai dan beras. Metode pelatihan mencakup empat sesi utama: presentasi, diskusi, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta berhasil memproduksi sabun cuci piring berkualitas. Selain itu, pelatihan ini meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya inovasi produk untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha mereka di tengah lingkungan yang kompetitif. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Karang melalui optimalisasi potensi lokal. Namun, untuk keberlanjutan usaha, diperlukan pendampingan lanjutan dalam aspek produksi skala besar, branding, dan pemasaran.

Abstract

Islamic education is a deliberate and planned effort aimed at guiding learners towards the formation of noble personalities, intending to guide their lives towards happiness in both the present world and the afterlife according to Islamic teachings. However, the reality reveals that many learners tend to view Islamic religious education as a subject or course that they must pass to meet minimal graduation requirements, without truly internalizing the values and teachings of Islam for practical application in their daily lives. The aim of this research is to integrate neo-Sufism concepts into the approach of Islamic religious education. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing library research methods. The data sources and analysis are drawn from credible scholarly literature. Data validity is verified through content analysis techniques. The result of this research indicate that the neo-Sufism approach to Islamic religious education is an intentional and structured effort directed towards cultivating knowledgeable and morally upright learners. Its primary objective is to enhance the quality of education by not solely focusing on the esoteric dimension of learners but also emphasizing the exoteric dimension and the reconstruction of social ethics. It was implemented by providing gradual spiritual exercises (riyadlah) tailored to the learners' conditions.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi e-learning untuk penskoran butir soal pilihan ganda pada pembelajaran Agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan model kajian pustaka (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi e-learning dalam proses penskoran butir soal pilihan ganda pada pembelajaran Agama Islam berbasis Excel dan Moodle menjadi langkah inovatif dalam pengolahan hasil tes peserta didik. Penggunaan teknologi e-learning juga memungkinkan pendidik untuk memberikan umpan balik secara instan kepada peserta didik. Hasil penilaian dapat langsung dikomunikasikan kepada peserta didik, sehingga mereka dapat mengevaluasi pemahaman dan kinerja mereka dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Teknologi ini juga memberikan kemudahan dalam menghasilkan laporan dan analisis statistik terkait hasil tes, sehingga pendidik dapat dengan cepat mengidentifikasi area-area yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study investigates the relational semantics of the word nafaṡa as found in QS. al-Falaq: 4, using Toshihiko Izutsu’s semantic theory to uncover the conceptual and ideological framework embedded in Qur’anic discourse. Through a qualitative-descriptive method and close textual analysis, the research explores the lexical, syntactic, and contextual dimensions of nafaṡa, highlighting its function as more than a physical act of ‘blowing.’ The analysis reveals that nafaṡa serves as a semantic node within a network of oppositional concepts—namely al-syarr (evil), al-‘uqad (knots, internal constraints), and al-taḥṣīn (divine safeguarding)—forming part of the Qur’an’s spiritual cosmology. Far from being merely a linguistic unit, nafaṡa symbolizes a latent metaphysical threat that operates within the Qur’anic worldview and necessitates divine protection. The study contributes to Qur’anic linguistic scholarship by demonstrating how a single lexical item can encode complex ethical, psychological, and theological meanings when analyzed through relational semantics.
