Abstract

Media merupakan instrumen penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran masa kini. Inovasi media sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung keefektifan pembelajaran sehingga suatu tujuan pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah tercapai. Namun, faktanya tidak sedikit sekolah di Indonesia yang masih ke-kurangan dalam hal inovasi media pembelajaran, khususnya media pembelajaran yang berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Klicks Deutsch, yaitu sebuah media audio-visual digital bagi pembelajaran bahasa Jerman. Klicks Deutsch dibuat menggunakan aplikasi pembuat media interaktif bernama Articulate Storyline. Materi yang disajikan dalam media ini ada-lah seputar makanan (Rund ums Essen) pada Kurikulum 2013 untuk Kompetensi Dasar 3.2 dan 4.2. Adapun penelitian ini berjenis Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar angket. Klicks Deutsch yang telah tervalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media kemudian diujicobakan kepada 26 siswa kelas XI Bahasa SMAN 8 Malang. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa media Klicks Deutsch berada pada kualifikasi sangat valid atau sangat layak diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran digital bahasa Jerman, khususnya untuk materi Rund ums Essen. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan persentase hasil penilaian sejumlah 85 persen oleh ahli materi, 95,6 persen oleh ahli media, dan 91,4 persen oleh siswa sebagai pengguna. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; Klicks Deutsch; Rund ums Essen; bahasa Jerman The Development of Digital Audiovisual Media Klicks Deutsch Based on Articulate Storyline on Rund ums Essen Material in Learning German Media is an essential instrument to implement today's learning. Media innovation is reguined to support the achievement of a learning goal. But in fact, there are still many schools in Indonesia, which is lacked in terms of learning media innovation, especially digital-based learning media. This research aimed to develop Klicks Deutsch, a digital audiovisual media for learning German. Klicks Deutsch was created using an interactive media creator application called Articulate Storyline. The material presented in this media is Rund ums Essen (about food) for Basic Competency 3.2 and 4.2 in curriculum 2013. Moreover, this research was a Research and Development (R&D) type using the ADDIE development model which consists of five phases, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data were collected using questionnaires. After being validated by the experts, Klicks Deutsch was then implemented on 26 students of grade XI Language at SMAN 8 Malang. Finally, the results of the assessments show that Klicks Deutsch has reached a quite valid qualification. In other words, this media is liable to be used as a media for German learning, since it gained 85 percent score from material expert, 95.6 percent from media expert and 91.4 percent from student as users. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using a Blooket as a gamified learning tool in an intermediate-level Mandarin reading class. Using a descriptive quantitative approach based on User Experience (UX), additional data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and non-participatory observations. The findings reveal that the highest scores were seen in the stimulation and efficiency aspects, indicating that Blooket improves student motivation and facilitates a faster learning process. Conversely, the reliability aspect obtained the lowest score, primarily due to network instability and students’ inaccuracy in reading Chinese characters. Overall, Blooket demonstrates great potential as a foreign language learning tool. However, its implementation should be supported by a comprehensive pedagogical strategy to optimize the benefits of gamification and further develop learners’ language proficiency.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era demands innovation in foreign language learning. This study focuses on the utilization of the digital learning medium Educandy as an effort to enhance students’ competence and motivation in learning German. This topic is considered important because most teachers still use conventional teaching methods that tend to be less engaging and result in low student involvement. The research activities were conducted through a community service program at SMAN 1 Driyorejo, involving teachers and students of German language subjects. The method employed was descriptive qualitative with a participatory training model, which included the stages of preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of activities. The results show that the implementation of Educandy in the learning process is able to improve students’ mastery of vocabulary and grammar, foster learning motivation, and encourage active participation in classroom activities. Teachers also experienced greater ease in the assessment process and in creating interactive learning media. These findings demonstrate that interactive digital media can serve as an effective, innovative, and relevant learning tool that meets the educational needs of the modern era. Thus, the use of Educandy contributes significantly to improving students’ language competence while simultaneously strengthening teachers’ digital pedagogical skills.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini terletak pada melemahnya pengetahuan anak tentang tradisi lokal, khususnya seni wayang, akibat dominasi media digital, serta rendahnya literasi ekologis yang tercermin dari persoalan sampah dan minimnya praktik daur ulang. Tujuannya adalah mengkaji efektivitas reimajinasi wayang limbah sebagai aktivitas dalam menumbuhkan literasi budaya dan ekologis yang menyatu dengan praktik kreatif, ruang kultural lokal, dan kolaborasi komunitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif partisipatif melalui studi literatur sistematis (SLR), observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Metode ini memungkinkan peneliti menelaah konsep reimajinasi wayang limbah, mengamati proses workshop dan pementasan, serta menilai peningkatan literasi budaya dan ekologis anak secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi reimajinasi—meliputi penciptaan makna baru melalui wayang limbah, pembacaan ulang tradisi, dan pembentukan identitas kultural dan ekologis—menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik. Anak mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap simbol dan tokoh wayang, serta pemahaman nilai ekologis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), melalui implementasi workshop dan pementasan wayang limbah bersama Komunitas ASRI di Punden Sentono. Peningkatan signifikan dari skor pre-test ke post-test menegaskan bahwa aktivitas ini efektif dalam menanamkan literasi budaya dan ekologis secara simultan. Kesimpulannya adalah model reimajinasi wayang limbah terbukti imersif, partisipatif, dan dapat direplikasi sebagai pendekatan efektif untuk memperkuat literasi budaya dan ekologis anak melalui kolaborasi komunitas dan pemanfaatan ruang kultural.

Abstract

This community service program aims to address the need for integrating local cultural elements into German language education for high school teachers in Surabaya and its surrounding areas. The focus of this initiative is to help German teachers incorporate East Javanese culture into their lessons using modern technology, particularly through AI-assisted poster design. The importance of this topic stems from the need to preserve local cultural heritage while enhancing language learning, fostering a deeper connection between students’ cultural identity and their foreign language education. The program was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation phase involved compiling accessible learning materials and ensuring all necessary resources were ready for the training sessions. The implementation phase provided hands-on workshops that introduced teachers to AI design tools such as Canva, Fotor, Piktochart, and ChatGPT, alongside instruction on poster design principles, including layout, typography, and bilingual content creation. In the evaluation phase, participants received feedback on their projects and refined their posters, integrating both German language elements and East Javanese cultural themes. The results demonstrated high participant engagement and successful skill development in using AI tools to create culturally relevant educational materials. Teachers produced bilingual cultural posters that effectively combined language instruction with local heritage promotion. This initiative not only enhanced teachers’ technological competencies but also strengthened their ability to integrate cultural content into their lessons, ensuring the preservation and appreciation of East Javanese culture in the context of German language education.

Abstract

The community service program "Smart and Healthy Generation: Sexuality Education and Health Check-Up with Garuda Parang Catholic Junior High School Students in Magetan" was implemented to address the need for improved reproductive health literacy and healthy lifestyle behaviors among early adolescents. Adolescents at the junior high school level are in the pubertal phase, characterized by significant physical, emotional, and social changes, and thus require a comprehensive understanding of sexuality, reproductive health, and the prevention of risk behaviors. However, research shows that the level of sexual literacy among Indonesian adolescents is still low, while access to inaccurate information from digital media is increasing. Therefore, appropriate and adolescent-friendly educational interventions are urgently needed to support the development of healthy and responsible behaviors. This activity aims to: (1) increase students' understanding of healthy sexuality, puberty, boundaries, and sexual violence prevention; and (2) conduct basic health checks, including nutritional status, blood pressure, and personal hygiene. The activities include interactive lectures, group discussions, and health checks by medical personnel and educators. The program results showed an average 32% increase in students' knowledge based on pre-tests and post-tests, an increase in positive attitudes toward healthy behaviors, and initial findings of actionable health conditions such as mild anemia and unhealthy body mass index. These findings are consistent with previous studies confirming that participatory health education is effective in improving adolescent health literacy.
