Abstract

Effective scheduling is a key factor in the success of construction projects. The Repetitive Scheduling Method (RSM) is a scheduling method designed for projects with repetitive activities, such as housing developments, high-rise buildings, highways, or bridges. This study aims to analyze the application of the RSM method in the Menteng VIII Housing Project in Palangka Raya. By comparing the project duration and cost before and after the implementation of RSM, this study found that the project duration could be reduced by 33.33%, from 231 days to 154 days, resulting in a total labor cost savings of IDR 15,700,000 per housing unit. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of RSM in improving time and cost efficiency in construction projects. The study also emphasizes that RSM reduces workers' idle time, increases productivity, and maintains work continuity. The application of RSM in this project is expected to serve as a reference for construction project managers in selecting a more optimal and efficient scheduling method. Thus, RSM can be one of the best alternatives in scheduling projects with repetitive work patterns.

Abstract

The Great Roundabout in Palangka Raya City is a significant symbol in Central Kalimantan Province, serving as a traffic intersection and a public space that supports social interaction. With the growing population and number of vehicles, various problems have emerged, such as congestion, accidents, and a lack of pedestrian comfort. This study aims to analyze the influence of infrastructure facilities on the safety and comfort of road users at the Great Roundabout. Using a literature review approach, this study identified 27 variables related to infrastructure, safety, and comfort. Factors affecting comfort are divided into two categories: internal factors, which include attitudes, awareness, and driving experience, and external factors, which include road conditions, the presence of other vehicles, and traffic management. The results of the analysis show that infrastructure, such as pedestrian bridges, wider sidewalks, and green open spaces, has a significant impact on improving the safety and comfort of road users. It is hoped that this study can provide deeper insights into the relationship between infrastructure facilities and road user experiences, and serve as a basis for the development of better policies in the planning and management of road infrastructure in urban areas, especially in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

Bangunan penunjang merupakan bangunan yang dirancang guna menunjang fungsi tertentu dalam suatu lingkungan bangunan. Rendahnya kepedulian dan tidak sesuainya aktivitas perawatan menimbulkan rusaknya bangunan penunjang, dan menyusutnya produktifitas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat dalam menyusun perawatan terhadap bangunan penunjang. Analisis data dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kerusakan pada komponen bangunan penunjang, yaitu menghitung kuantitas kerusakan dan kuantitas total komponen bangunan penunjang, menghitung persentase kerusakan bangunan penunjang dan menganalisis estimasi biaya perawatannya. Hasil analisis terdapat 16 jenis kerusakan pada 14 bangunan penunjang di lingkungan Kantor Bupati Barito Selatan, Kerusakan bangunan yang terjadi pada komponen arsitektural yaitu cat terkelupas dan retak 14,54% pada sub-komponen dinding, berlubang 14,15% pada sub-komponen dinding, lepas 28,30% pada sub komponen Dinding (plywood ), berlubang 16,23% pada sub-komponen penutup atap, lapuk dan lepas 0,52% pada sub-komponen plafond, pecah 0,22% pada sub-komponen jendela, hilang 0,20% pada sub-komponen ventilasi, lapuk 82,05% pada sub-komponen listplang, hilang 100% pada sub-komponen grendel, kemudian yang terjadi pada komponen struktural, hanya pada sub-komponen lantai yaitu retak 14,09%, berlubang 16,25%, keramik pecah 100%, tergenang air 100%, dan lantai tidak ada 100%, sedangkan yang terjadi pada komponen mekanikal bangunan gedung yaitu, mesin rusak 100% pada sub-komponen kloset duduk, mesin rusak 100% pada sub-komponen urinoir. Berdasarkan perhitungan biaya perawatan bangunan Penunjang di lingkungan Kantor Bupati Barito Selatan yaitu sebesar Rp. 627.195.917,57.
