Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Karakteristik masyarakat pesisir: Kehidupan keagamaan dan pendangan masyarakat pesisir desa Pulo Panjang pada tradisi local Sedekah Laut” Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana kehiduapan keagamaan masyarakat Pulo Panjang di Kota Serang, Banten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengetahui serta untuk menggambarkan secara utuh bagaimana kehidupan kegamaan masyarakat pesisir di Pulo Panjang, Serang, Banten. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi di lapangan, wawancara kepada narasumber mengenai kehidupan masyarakat keseharian serta melakukan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dengan masyarakat pesisir lainnya Dimana masyarakat pesisir biasanya terdapat tradisi sedekah laut sebagai ucapan syukur, tetapi di Pulo Panjang tidak terdapat ucapan syukur seperti hal tersebut. Adapun tanda syukur di Pulo Panjang yaitu dengan beribadah kepada Tuhan serta melakukan setiap ajaran yang baik untuk orang lain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of business capital and labor quality on the success of clothing sewing services in Ilir Timur I district, Palembang city. The research used a quantitative analysis method. The population in this study consisted of 186 business actors in clothing sewing services, and the sample used was 65 respondents, selected through simple random sampling. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to clothing sewing service businesses in Ilir Timur I District, Palembang City. The data analysis technique used multiple linear analysis with the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed that both business capital and labor quality have a positive and significant influence on the success of clothing sewing services in Ilir Timur I District, Palembang City, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Abstract It is recorded that there are more than 150 thousand PMI in Singapore working in the domestic and homecare sectors. Some domestic workers attend cosmetology school at Gayatri Beauty Academy Singapore to fill their holiday time. The available curriculum does not yet include photo make up which should be taught to support the success of photography which is closely related to pre-wedding photos which have opportunities for the international make up artist job market. The aim of this community service is to improve the skills of domestic workers in doing photo make up independently. The training participants were 20 domestic workers who were students from Gayatri Beauty Academy Singapore. The implementation method is carried out through the process of training preparation, implementation and evaluation. Training evaluation is carried out using tests and questionnaires on participant satisfaction with activities. The results of the training evaluation showed that participants' understanding ability was very good at 90%, the practical results showed satisfactory results, while participant satisfaction in terms of material showed that 70% were very satisfied, in terms of instructors it showed that 55% of participants were satisfied and in terms of overall training activities it showed 50 % of participants were satisfied. It can be concluded that this community service activity is able to improve domestic workers' skills in doing photo make up independently. Abstrak Tercatat terdapat lebih dari 150 ribu PMI berada di Singapura bekerja pada sektor domestik dan homecare. Sebagian domestic worker mengikuti sekolah tata rias di Gayatri Beauty Academi Singapura untuk mengisi waktu libur. Kurikulum yang tersedia, belum memasukan make up foto yang seharusnya diajarkan sebagai penunjang keberhasilan fotografi yang erat kaitannya dengan foto prewedding yang memiliki peluang untuk bursa kerja make up artist internasional. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan domestic worker dalam melakukan make up foto secara mandiri. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 orang domestic worker yang merupakan peserta didik dari Gayatri Beauty Academi Singapura. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui proses persiapan, implementasi dan evaluasi pelatihan. Evaluasi pelatihan dilakukan dengan tes dan kuisioner kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi pelatihan menunjukan kemampuan pemahaman peserta sangat baik sebesar 90%, hasil praktik menunjukan hasil yang memuaskan, sedangkan kepuasan peserta dari segi materi menunjukan 70% merasa sangat puas, segi instruktur menunjukan 55% peserta merasa puas dan dilihat dari segi keseluruahn kegiatan pelatihan menunjukan 50% peserta merasa puas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan domestic worker dalam melakukan make up foto secara mandiri.

Abstract

In the development of Central Kalimantan, the construction sector plays a strategically significant role in providing infrastructure. In 2022, there were 2,082 registered construction companies, with 27.19% of them located in Palangka Raya City. According to data obtained from the Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE) of the Palangkaraya City Government, a total of 155 construction service procurement packages were tendered in 2023. The realization of the participation level of construction job providers and consulting services experienced a decrease compared to 2022. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire distribution and literature review. This research employed the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method for data analysis using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the analysis show that the characteristics of the company, project characteristics, project documents, tender conditions, and economic conditions significantly influence and contribute greatly to influencing service providers to participate in construction job tenders.

Abstract

This study is intended to determine the Effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Aneka Tambang, Tbk on financial statements in 2017-2022 and become one of the references regarding research on the analysis of financial statements in company. This research uses quantitative methods with classical assumption test techniques, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test and determination coefficient test in IBM SPSS 22 statistical applications. The results in the classical assumption test, this study was found to have normal distribution values, did not experience heterochedascity, was not exposed to multico problems, and there was no autocorrelation. The linear regression test shows that the Current Ratio has an inversely proportional influence on the Return on Assets because it shows a positif value 0.010 while the Net Profit Margin has a direct influence on the Return on Assets because it shows a positive coefficient value 0,469. The results of the test concluded that the Current Ratio partially did not have a positive and significant effect on the Return on Assets, and the Net Profit Margin partially had a positive and significant effect on the Return on Assets. Meanwhile, simultaneously, Current Ratio and Net Profit Margin have a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets with a value of 73,1%.

Abstract

Revenge porn, or the distribution of sexual content without the victim's consent, is a form of gender-based violence that exploits digital technology. This act is often accompanied by threats and aims to humiliate the victim. This article seeks to analyze the legal protection available for victims of revenge porn in Indonesia, evaluate the existing regulations, and provide recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of legal safeguards. The analysis reveals that the current legal framework, such as the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Pornography Law, falls short in optimally protecting victims, particularly due to ambiguous interpretations in its implementation. Comprehensive solutions, including victim-focused legal reforms, public education, and training for law enforcement officers, are urgently needed to address this issue effectively. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ethics, professionalism, and auditor quality on the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The research approach used is a literature study that includes an analysis of previous research relevant to the issue. The results showed that high ethics, consistent professionalism, and good auditor quality can play a significant role in encouraging transparent and responsible CSR implementation and can make a positive contribution to increasing stakeholder trust. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more responsible audit practices in every company and public agency.

Abstract

A key component in improving education standards is parental involvement. Inequality of treatment between parents and teachers results from parents' ignorance of how young children learn, which can stunt children's growth and make them feel insecure. This study discusses the effect of parental participation in early childhood education on children's academic achievement. Parental involvement is an important factor that can support children's development, especially in terms of learning achievement. This study explains how parents play an active role through learning assistance at home, communication with teachers, and involvement in school activities. This involvement not only helps children understand the subject matter, but also plays a role in shaping children's character, discipline and self-con. This research highlights the importance of synergy between parents and schools in creating a conducive learning environment for early childhood. The results of the study are expected to be taken into consideration for educators and parents in improving the quality of early childhood education so that children's learning achievement can be optimal. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results obtained show that: 1) High parental participation has a positive effect on children's academic achievement, especially in improving reading, counting and social skills; 2) Factors that influence the level of parental participation include awareness of the importance of education, available time, and socioeconomic and cultural factors.

Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 30 ibu hamil trimester ketiga dengan iteknik ipengambilan isampel isecara itotal isampling isehingga isampel idalam ipenelitian iini isebanyak i30 iibu ihamil. iCara ipengumpulan idata imenggunakan ikuesioner. iAnalisis istatistik imenggunakan iuji ichi-square. iHasil ipenelitian i: imenunjukan ibahwa iterdapat ihubungan ipengetahuan isikap idan iperilaku iibu ihamil idengan iketeraturan ipemeriksaan iantenatal icare idengan iNilai ip- ivalue isebesar i0,001 i(<0,005). iKesimpulan i: idihasilkan ibahwa iterdapat ihubungan ipengetahuan isikap idan iperilaku iibu ihamil idengan iketeraturan ipemeriksan iantenatal icare.

Abstract

The evaluation of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform Program at SMP Brawijaya Smart School aimed to determine the improvement of teacher competence, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The survey indicates that the Merdeka Mengajar Platform increases teachers’ digital workload, necessitating an evaluation of the program's effectiveness in supporting the four teacher competencies. This program evaluation employs a qualitative approach, utilizing Miles et al.'s (2014) interactive model through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal, and teachers. The results showed that: (1) in terms of context, the platform is in line with government policies and supports improving teacher competencies; (2) in terms of inputs, human and physical resources are adequate; (3) in the process dimension, performance monitoring is conducted systematically; and (4) in terms of products, the platform has contributed to improving the four teacher competencies effectively. However, there are challenges related to time. This application remains feasible with adjustments, including simplifying the appearance and adding scheduling features, reminders, and estimated learning duration to accommodate teachers' limited time.
