This study aims to determine community participation in the maintenance of residential environmental health in Pauh Duo Subdistrict, seen from the management of house hygiene, clean water management and waste and household waste management. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was all family heads who were or residing in the Pauh Duo sub-district of South Solok Regency which numbered 4,985 heads of families. The research sample was taken by the method of "Propotional Random Sampling" using the Slovin formula so that a sample of 100 families was obtained. Data analysis is percentage analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) Management of cleanliness of houses in Pauh Duo sub-district is seen from attention, responsibility and generally high actions, (2) Management is clean water viewed from attention, responsibility and community actions grouped into categories high and (3) Community participation in waste management and household waste is seen from attention, responsibility and actions including the high category

The purpose of this research is to find out how the public perception about the impact of the construction of the Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) on socio-economic status in Kenagarian Kataping.This type of research is descripive quantitative research. The Population and sample in this study were people in Kenagarian Kataping, Batang Anai sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency. data is done through observation and questionnaires. The research data is analyzed using a Percentage and Likert formula.The results of the study show. (1). The community economy is in the high category with a percentage of 21,6 %, the medium category with a percentage of 66,0%, and a low category with a percentage of 12,4%. thus the community economy is in the medium category. (2). Social Society, is in the high category with a percentage of 18,6%, medium category with a percentage of 70,1%, and a low category. (3). Community infrastructure is in the high category with a percentage of 19,6%, medium category with a percentage 0f 69,1%, and a low category with a percentage of 11,3%. Thus community infrastructure is in the medium category.

Abstract This study aims to determine the level of well-being of woven craftsmen in Jorong Taratak Nagari Guguak Kabupaten 50 Kota. This type of research uses the descripyive method of the quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling whit a sample of 61 people. Data collection tools are questionnaires and data is processed using a percentage formula and uses a likert scale measuring instrument (Sugiyono 2003:86). Research result 1) the level of the woven craftsmen is in Jorong Taratak Nagari Guguak Kabupaten 50 Kota is classified as not prosperous, 39 (63,93%) respondents included in low welfare, 20 (32,79%) respondents included in moderate welfare, and 2 (3,28%) respondents who included high welfare. 2) the determinants of the level of welfare of the aging woven craftsmen are (a) population (b) health and nutrition (c) education (d) employment (e)level and pattern of consumption (f) housing and environment (g) proverti (h) other social indicators. In the determinants of welfare levels of several of the determinants above using the likert scale, none of which belong to the high welfare category.

This study purpose to assess the social and economic vulnerability of the community to volcanic disasters in each jorong in Nagari Simabur, Pariangan District, Tanah Datar District. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with the population being all households in Nagari Simabur. Sample size determination uses the Slovin formula so that a sample of 88 respondents was obtained. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, field observasions and documentation with data analysis techniques, namely scoring analysis. Scoring analysis is done by giving scores on each variable used in the study. Social vulnerability in this study was measured by geographical population density, agrarian population density, education, number of family members, dependency ratio and sex ratio. Economic vulnerability is measured by employment, income and area of agricultural land. The results of the socio-economic vulnerability analysis show that in Jorong Simabur and Jorong Tanjung Limau have a very vulnerable level of vulnerability which is more influenced by economic aspects, while in Jorong Koto Tuo has a rather vulnerable level of vulnerability which is more influeced by social aspects.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesejahteraan petani karet di Jorong Jolok Sungai Sirih Nagari Pulakek Koto Baru Kecamatan Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode convenience sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 54 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan data diolah dengan menggunakan formula persentase. Hasil penelitian 1) tingkat kesejahteraan petani karet Di Jorong Jolok Sungai Sirih Nagari Pulakek Koto Baru Kecamatan Sungai Pagu Kabupaten Solok Selatan berada pada tingkat pra sejahtera (16,66%) KS I (42,59%), KS II (25,92%), KS III(9,25%), KS III+ (5,55%). 2) Indikator penentu tingkat kesejahteraan petani karet adalah (a) Pangan (b) Sandang (c) Papan (d) Kesehatan (e) Keluarga berencana, (f)Pendidikan, (g) Agama/ religi (h) Penghasilan. Dalam penentuan tingkat kesejahteraan dari beberapa indikator di atas masih sedikit yang bisa memenuhi kategori kesejahteraan tiga plus.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa Geografi IPS kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung. Selama penelitian ditemukanlah suatu permasalahan pada minat belajar sisiwa, hal ini dikarenakan pada pembelajaran yang disajikan bersifat abstrak. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan suatu perbaikan dengan menggunakan media audio visual. Penggunaan media audio visual dapat membantu memahami materi pembelajaran yang bersifat abstrak menjadi konkrit. Berdasarkan data awal yang diperoleh, rata-rata minat siswa yaitu 129,96, namun dengan penggunaan media audio visual pada pembelajaran geografi mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan rata-rata yaitu 139,22, hal ini membuktikan bahwa dengan adanya media audio visual sangat membantu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Media Audio Visual, Minat Belajar.

Abstrak This study aims to find out: (1) Level of education, (2) Income level, (3) Health conditions, and (4) Transportation conditions of hand-embroidery craftsmen in Jopang Manganti Nagari, Mungka District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The type of research used is using quantitative descriptive methods. The study population used was hand embroidery craftsmen in Jopang Manganti Nagari in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, which consisted of 28 hand embroidery craftsmen. The study sample consisted of saturated samples. Saturated withdrawal of hand embroidery craftsmen, 28 hand embroidery craftsmen. The technique of data collection is done by observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is using percentages. The results showed that: (1) The level of education of hand embroidery craftsmen was classified as high with most of them graduating from high school (39.29), and many of their children were still in school and quite a lot were also dropping out of school. (2) The income of hand embroidery craftsmen is less than Rp. 1,500,000 per month (96.43%). (3) The health condition of the hand embroidery craftsmen is quite good, because the craftsmen are aware of the importance of health for them. If the embroidery craftsmen suffer from minor illnesses, the embroidery craftsmen go to the health center (60.71%), if the embroidery craftsmen suffer from severe illness the craftsmen go to the treatment also go to the puskesmas (82.14%). (4) The transportation conditions of embroidery craftsmen, namely craftsmen, mostly own motorized vehicles (82.14%) and the costs for transportation of craftsmen are Rp. 50,000-Rp. 80,000 per month (39.29%) of all respondents. ABSTRAK This study aims to find out: (1) Income level, (2) Conditions of education, (3) Conditions of residence, (4) Ownership of living facilities of workers at the PT. Greater Plantation in Nagari Salareh Aia, Palembayan District, Agam Regency. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was all workers at the PT. Pelalu Raya Plantation in Nagari Salareh Aia, Palembayan District, Agam District, which consists of 170 people. Sampling in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula, the technique used was Proportional Random Sampling, so that 63 respondents were obtained. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is percentage. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The level of income of workers at the PT. Great Plantation of Rp. 2,500,000 - Rp. 3,500,000 per month (63.4%). (2) The level of education of workers at the PT. Pelalu Raya Plantation has been classified as good, where most of the workers have graduated from high school (61.9%) in addition there are some people who have gone through tertiary education (12.6%), for the education of working children at this time most of the children from workers are taking education in junior high school (31.3%). (3) Workers' living conditions have met the minimum area, which is an average of 10.7 m² / person (65%), with permanent housing types (85.7%), and each house is equipped with electricity. (4) the ownership of living facilities (motorbikes) of the majority of workers already have 1 motorbike (85.7%), for the ownership of living facilities (cars) most of the workers do not have a car, but there are some people who have 1 cars (7.9%). ABSTRACT Vegetation mapping aims to see the changes that occur from 2009 to 2019 and also compare the accuracy of methods of image interpretation of vegetation. The method used to detect vegetation density is the NDVI transformation method and the TVI transformation. This study aims to, 1) Determine the level of vegetation density using vegetation transformation NDVI and TVI transformation. 2) To identify changes in the area of vegetation in West Sumatra's Mount Marapi Nature Reserve in 2009-2019. 3) comparing the NDVI transformation and TVI transformation in the vegetation classification of Mount Marapi Nature Reserve in 2009-2019. NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), TVI (Tringular Vegetation Index) on vegetation density, confusion matrix are the methods used in this study. The data used Landsat TM5 satellite imagery recording in 2005 and OLITIR in 2019. In this study obtained the results of the level of vegetation density in the 2009 NDVI transformation, of which the most extensive classification is in the classification of meetings with an area of 4211.12 ha, and in 2019 the most extensive classification is very tight with an area of 2217.56 ha. In the TVI 2009 transformation the broadest classification was the classification of meetings with an area of 5855.57 ha, and in 2019 the classification of meetings with an area of 4468,057 ha. The two methods used have differences in the level of accuracy, the NDVI transformation method has an accuracy rate of 75.5% while the TVI transformation is 80%, so the TVI method is suitable for detecting the vegetation density of Mount Marapi.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kondisi sosial ekonomi petani kentang di Desa Mekar Sari Kecamatan Kayu Aro Kabupaten Kerinci. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subyek penelitian Petani Kentang. Data dianalisis menggunakan formula persentase untuk mengkategorikan kondisi sosial ekonomi petani. Hasil penelitian menemukan kondisi sosial petani kentang mayoritas berlatar pendidikan Sekolah Menangah Atas sederajat dengan rata rata jumlah tanggungan keluarga 3 orang. Dari segi Kondisi Ekonomi, Luas Lahan pertanian petani kentang termasuk kedalam pertanian skala kecil dengan luas lahan 250-500 m2 dengan rata rata modal/biaya produksi berkisar antara Rp.6.000.000 – Rp.7.000.000. sebagian besar petani kentang mengolah lahan pertaniannya sendiri dengan rata rata pendapatan Rp.15.000.000 – Rp.20.000.000 untuk satu kali masa produksi. dari segi pengeluaran, rata rata pengeluaran petani kentang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari yaitu berkisar antara 3.000.000 – 4.000.000/bulan yaitu sebanyak 67% dari 92 jumlah petani kentang. Kata Kunci: Petani, Kentang, Sosial, Ekonomi
