<![CDATA[The aims of this research are 1) to find out the satisfaction of users of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Programme (EIESTP) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta graduates, and 2) to know the analysis of the needs of graduate users to face the transformation of 21st Century Education. The population of this research is users of graduates from EIESTP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta alumni/graduates in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The number of samples is determined by the Slavin formula. Based on the calculation results, the number of samples is 152 graduate users. Data collection instruments are closed questionnaires and documentation. The response results from graduate users are then analyzed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The research findings show that 1) Satisfaction of users of EIESTP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta graduates with the CSI method was obtained at 94.96% in the very satisfied category, and 2) EIESTP Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta needs to make improvements and increase expertise in the fields of knowledge, collaboration, and integrity ability of its graduates.]]>

<![CDATA[After the COVID-19 Pandemic, face-to-face (FTF) learning was implemented in elementary schools in the province of the special region of Yogyakarta. However the implementation of online learning has left its own problems, especially related to self-regulation in student learning. Students need readaptation again after they are used to studying online for at least two years. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model for Self Regulated Learning (SRL) students in science learning at Post-COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses the experimental method of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research was conducted at a Islamic elementary school in Yogyakarta in the 2021/2022 school year. The population of this study were students of class IV consisting of 4 classes namely A, B, C, and D. The samples of this study were students of class IV A, totaling 23 students as the control class and IV C, totaling 21 students as the experimental class. Selection of control and experimental classes using cluster random sampling technique. The research findings show that the PjBL model is effective in improving students' SRL in science subjects after the pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[Students' understanding of mathematical concepts still needs to improve. This problem will spread to other subjects because mathematics is necessary for solving various problems. This research aims to determine the product development process for realistic teaching materials for mathematics, algebra material, and measurement and the feasibility of product development according to expert assessments and responses from potential users. This research is an RND with a 4-D development model which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The resulting product validator comprises three media, material, and discussion experts. Practitioner response testing was conducted on two 5th-grade teachers at Elementary School (SD) Muhammadiyah Sukonandi 2. The subjects for product testing were 5th-grade students at Elementary School (SD) Muhammadiyah Sukonandi 2. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires in the form of validation questionnaires, practitioner response questionnaires, and potential user responses. The assessment results from media experts scored 4.75 in the very good category, material experts scored 4.75 in the very good category, and language experts scored an average of 4.55 in the very good category. Practitioner response tests and user responses received very good responses.]]>

<![CDATA[The independence of student learning is one aspect to determine the success of student learning, but the fact is that there are still many students who need to be more independent in learning. This research will evaluate whether the project-based learning (PjBL) model can improve student learning independence (SLI). This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method. Pretest-postest group design was employed as the research design. The object was students from year seven class B and D LHI Islamic Junior High School in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, which were selected using the classroom random sampling technique. The findings indicate that this model applied to science learning with the herbarium project can increase SLI due to the requirement of being independent during completing an individual project. In addition, for future works, it could add new activities which also maximize collaboration among students in completing their projects in conjunction with independence.]]>

<![CDATA[This service is motivated by the widespread phenomenon that occurs today in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) environment with many young people who do not show akhlakul karimah behaviour. This can also be observed by the participation of the younger generation in Islamic organisations that do not reflect Islam according to the guidance of the Qur'an. Islamic schools should be the main platform for basic education in instilling praiseworthy traits and behaviours in students through their learning content or character education programmes. Aswaja-an in learning in MI occupies an important position in providing guidance on faith without overriding nationalism. The objectives of this service are 1) to assist the practice of living Qur'an in schools in the form of habituation of reading Asmaul Husna, and 2) to find out the impact of the implementation of living Quran practices on improving student character. This service uses the PAR type. The service was carried out at MI Ma'arif Sambeng at all grade levels. Living Quran activities are carried out every day before learning activities. The findings of this service are 1) Living Qur'an practices by integrating Aswaja learning as a character education programme at MI Ma'arif Sambeng include: Good habits, extracurricular activities and learning content 2) The impact of the implementation of living Quran practices is to instil students' akhlakul karimah character and increase their love for the country. The implementation of this living qur'an turned out to have an impact felt by MI Ma'arif Sambeng, including the implementation of strengthening character education in the madrasah environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengembangan kapasitas guru di KKG MI Sleman dalam bidang teknologi menjadi tujuan yang harus dilaksanakan secara merata, Hal ini di tunjukan dengan banyaknya guru di KKG MI Sleman yang focus pada kegiatan mengajar tetapi mengesampingkan peningkatan ketrampilan diri seperti menulis dan publikasi karya. Sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi guru tertinggal dalam peningkatan kompetensi diri dan teknologi, tim pengabdian PGMI UIN Sunan Kalijaga melaksanakan pendampingan di KKG MI Sleman. Dalam era teknologi informasi yang semakin maju, pendampingan teknologi dapat menjadi keterampilan inti yang perlu dikuasai guru. Tema pendampingan yang di laksanakan salah satunya adalah guru menulis cerita islami, yang terdiri dari proses pengenalan aplikasi canva dan publikasi karya. Metode yang digunakan adalah (PAR) participatory action research dengan melibatkan beberpa guru sebagai objek dan pemateri sebagai tutor pelatihan canva. Pendekatan ini meliputi demonstrasi dan pendampingan evaluasi bagi karya guru-guru di KKG MI Sleman, Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan canva di KKG MI Sleman memberikan dampak positif terhadap minat belajar teknologi, kreativitas menulis, dan publikasi digital berbasis aplikasi. Hasil pendampingan menghasilkan tiga karya buku digital islami dengan desain canva dan publikasi menggunakan barcode. Minat belajar yang ditunjukan guru pada pendampingan di KKG MI Sleman sangat tinggi dibuktikan masing-masing sekolah mengirimkan perwakilan guru-guru muda. ]]>

<![CDATA[Workshop merupakan salah satu proyek pengabdian masyarakat yang diikuti oleh Tim Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan serta kompetensi para guru MI YAPPI Banyusoco terkait penyusunan bahan ajar digital interaktif dan inovatif melalui aplikasi canva. Sepuluh orang guru MI YAPI Banyusocoo menjadi peserta sekaligus subjek dalam kegiatan ini. Peneliti menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik, serta diskusi. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket respon peserta setelah mengikuti workshop. Peneliti menganalisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif berbentuk persentase. Persentase hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisis data adalah 92,65% yang memenuhi standar sangat tinggi. Peningkatan keterampilan para guru juga dapat terlihat setelah adanya kegiatan ini yaitu guru sudah mampu mendesain bahan ajar yang menarik dan memenuhi kriteria dalam manfaatkan fitur aplikasi Canva. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta workshop.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia’s cultural and ethnic diversity in schools requires teachers to develop strong pedagogical competencies that foster cultural awareness. This study aims to (1) conduct sociocultural pedagogy socialization using a cultural awareness model for teachers at SDS Eka Cipta Kencana, (2) provide assistance in implementing multicultural pedagogy within classroom practices, and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of the socialization and assistance activities. The research employed a qualitative community-based research (CBR) design involving 13 teachers and 261 students, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were validated using source and technique triangulation to ensure credibility. The results show that multicultural pedagogy at SDS Eka Cipta Kencana has not been fully integrated into the formal curriculum but is implicitly practiced through teachers’ personal approaches that embrace local cultural contexts. Socialization and mentoring activities enhanced teachers’ understanding of multicultural pedagogy and fostered tolerance among students of diverse backgrounds. Rather than being confined to structured lessons, cultural awareness emerged through everyday interactions that validated students’ diverse identities. This suggests that in remote schools, diversity is not merely a backdrop but an active force that shapes more inclusive and humane forms of education. This study contributes to strengthening pedagogical practices in remote schools by offering a model of multicultural pedagogy grounded in cultural awareness that can inform future teacher development programs.]]>

<![CDATA[The Adiwiyata program has been implemented in several elementary schools in Indonesia, but its implementation has not been integrated into learning. As a result, students' contextual understanding of the environment is low. The aims of this research are: 1) to find out the implementation of the EESD approach in science learning; 2) find out the effectiveness of the EESD approach towards students' environmentally caring character. This research uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was fifth grade MIN 2 Bantul students consisting of class A and class B. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling and 29 students were selected for class B. The instruments used in this research include observation sheets and questionnaires. The research results show that: 1) The EESD approach was implemented with a percentage of 95% in the very good category; 2) The EESD approach is effective in increasing the character of caring for the environment in the sufficient category.]]>

<![CDATA[Scientific literacy has an important role in equipping individuals to be sensitive to the environment and actively participate in making decisions regarding existing environmental issues. This research aims to test the effectiveness of the STEM-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in increasing the scientific literacy of PGMI students in science courses. This research uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 41 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used in this research include a scientific literacy test instrument and an observation sheet on the implementation of PjBL-STEM learning. The findings of this research show that learning through PjBL-STEM on Ecosystem material facilitates students in solving existing environmental problems in the form of STEM-based projects. The results of the T-Paired test have a sig.2-tailed value of 0.000<0.05, indicating that there is a significant difference in the scientific literacy results of PGMI students in science courses. Based on the N-Gain analysis, a score of 0.5 shows that the STEM-based PjBL learning model is effective in increasing the scientific literacy of students in the medium category.]]>
