Abstract

This study examines high school teachers' perspectives on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching English in Jombang, East Java. Employing a mixed-method approach, it involves surveys of 42 participants (2 teachers and 40 students) and interviews with 4 teachers and 4 students. The findings show that AI is seen as an effective tool for enhancing English learning, with most participants expressing positive attitudes. Younger teachers demonstrate higher readiness to adopt AI, though challenges like limited technology access and insufficient training persist. The study emphasizes AI's transformative potential in English education, highlighting the importance of professional development and addressing practical barriers to maximize its benefits in teaching methodologies and student engagement

Abstract

This study examines the role of social media in shaping online media practices in Malang, focusing on Jatim Times and Tugu Media Group. This study aims to see how both media use platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to spread news, engage with audiences, promote content, and attract advertising. This study uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews with social media managers, journalists, and editors and analyzing the content on their social media. By comparing interviews, content, and activities on social media, this study provides an overview of how social media influences their strategies. The results show that social media is essential in expanding audience reach, strengthening media identity, and increasing advertising revenue. However, the challenge is how the media balances these promotional efforts while maintaining the credibility of the information that is the primary basis of the media. The benefits of this study are that it will provide a deep understanding for media practitioners and researchers about integrating social media into local media strategies, as well as the challenges faced in maintaining credibility in the digital world. Further research is recommended to focus on the ethical challenges of using social media for news dissemination in Indonesia. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji peran media sosial dalam membentuk praktik media online di Malang, dengan fokus pada Jatim Times dan Tugu Media Group. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana kedua media tersebut menggunakan platform seperti TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, dan Twitter untuk menyebarkan berita, berinteraksi dengan audiens, mempromosikan konten, serta menarik iklan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer media sosial, jurnalis, dan editor, serta menganalisis konten yang ada di media sosial mereka. Dengan membandingkan wawancara, konten, dan aktivitas di media sosial, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana media sosial mempengaruhi strategi mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran penting dalam memperluas jangkauan audiens, memperkuat identitas media, dan meningkatkan pendapatan dari iklan. Namun, tantangannya adalah bagaimana media menyeimbangkan upaya promosi tersebut dengan tetap menjaga kredibilitas informasi yang menjadi basis utama media. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman mendalam bagi praktisi media dan peneliti tentang integrasi media sosial dalam strategi media lokal, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menjaga kredibilitas dalam dunia digital. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk lebih fokus pada tantangan etis dalam penggunaan media sosial untuk penyebaran berita di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates how schools can serve as strategic platforms for corruption prevention by synthesizing findings from a wide range of literature, including academic journals, policy documents, and anti-corruption education programs in Indonesia. The research addresses the growing concern that anti-corruption efforts remain abstract in educational settings, with a gap between knowledge and actionable behavior. Concrete actions identified in this study include student-led integrity projects, transparent class budgeting practices, and school-wide campaigns promoting ethical behavior. These practices illustrate how anti-corruption values—such as honesty, responsibility, and fairness—can be internalized through daily school routines and decision-making processes. The implementation strategies discussed are drawn from both documented best practices and theoretical frameworks. Notable sources include educational programs initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and pilot schools implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka and Profil Pelajar Pancasila. These strategies include experiential learning, integration of anti-corruption themes into project-based curricula, digital platforms for school governance transparency, and teacher professional development focused on ethics education. Recommendations emphasize the need for a coordinated approach involving the Ministry of Education, school leaders, teachers, parents, and anti-corruption bodies like the KPK. Concrete suggestions include embedding anti-corruption modules in teacher training programs, establishing school-community integrity pacts, and forming regional networks to share successful initiatives. This synergy between policy, pedagogy, and local stakeholder engagement is essential to cultivate a generation committed to integrity and transparency.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the understanding and practical skills of female students in entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies at the Jombang Islamic boarding school. This research is important as it can provide the necessary insights to develop more effective and relevant educational programs. The research method employs a quantitative survey with 100 respondents using closed-ended questionnaires. The results show a low understanding of basic concepts in entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies, with average scores of 2.30, 2.30, and 2.35, respectively. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of more comprehensive education to address the current gap in the literature, encouraging a more integrated and practically oriented educational approach to prepare a generation of adaptive entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The Role of Interpersonal Communication Between Leaders And Employees To Improve Employee Performance Improving Employee Performance At Assyifa Farma Group Indonesia: Emilia Putri Wardani: 3118001: 2022: 80 pages: business administration study program: Faculty of Business and Languages: Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang. This study aims to determine the role of interpersonal communication between leaders and employees at Assyifa Farma Group Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach which aims to determine the increase in employee performance. Data analysis aims to evaluate and appreciate the data collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained show that interpersonal communication between leaders and employees has not run optimally, there is still a lot of confusing information from the leadership, miscommunication, so that this condition makes employees unable to appreciate criticism, suggestions, or complaints to the leadership during work. Peran Komunikasi Interpersonal Antara Pimpinan Dan Karyawan Guna Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan Pada Assyifa Farma Group Indonesia: Emilia putri Wardani: 3118001: 2022: 80 halaman: program studi administrasi bisnis: Fakultas Bisnis Dan Bahasa: Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran komunikasi interpersonal antara pimpinan dan karyawan pada Assyifa Farma Group Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Analisis data bertujuan mengevaluasi dan mengapresiasikan data yang dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancra, dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal antara pimpinan dan karyawan yang belum berjalan dengan maksimal, masih banyak informasi yang simpang siur dari pimpinan, adanya miskomunikasi, sehingga kondisi ini membuat karyawan tidak bisa mengapresiasikan kritik, saran, atau keluh kesahnya pada pimpinan selama bekerja.
