Abstract

Pengembangan jiwa entrepreneurship di kalangan sivitas akademika saat ini menjadi penting untuk memacu kemampuan berwirausaha memanfaatkan hasil inovasi intelektual kampus. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi factor internal dan eksternal sebagai acuan pemilihan strategi untuk mengembangkan unit usaha inivasi intelektual kampus PPUPIK-Informasi Geospasial di Universitas Udayana. Analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis SWOT dan matrik EFI dan EFE. Kedua analisis akan focus untuk menetapkan strategi pengembangan unit usaha PPUPIK-Informasi Geospasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unit usaha PPUPIK-Informasi Geospasial Universitas Udayana berada pada posisi sel 4, yang diperoleh dari nilai EFI sebesar 3,01 yang menunjukkan posisi unit usaha kuat, sedangkan nilai EFE 2,44 yang berarti posisi eksternalnya sedang. Dengan demikian strategi yang harus diterapkan adalah strategi stability dan berhati-hati terhadap faktor internal maupun eksternal. Abstract

Environment issues and go green impacted to perception of political makers both in governmental and privatesector. The organic farming was identical to decrease fertilizer application of chemical fertilizer. This issue shouldbe researched whether chemical fertilizer destroyed environment or vice verse. Since 1998 research found andconcluded that the opposite perception was due to the high dosage organic fertilizer. Dissemination of researchfound that mineral plus processing was conducted in Anggabaya Village. It was done by exercising farmer societywith empowering technology. Raw material of mineral plus fertilizer process has been formulated by the team,and the targets were the farmers and farming family to improve their knowledge in processing fertilizer andapplying it for farmer use. The training was conducted after presentation and discussion so the participant moreunderstood the use of fertilizer and quality of fertilizer. The team as tutors in formulating mineral plus fertilizerand participated by most of participants (90%). The participants were very responsive in mineral plus formulatingand most of them making formulate from the available material. The information from the participant that organicfertilizer yielded low production and farmers use quicklime in papaya garden which produced more sweetened fruits.

Abstract

Tujuan dari ini kegiatan pelayanan masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi manggis sebagai komoditas ekspor utama melalui: (peningkatan budidaya manggis dan pencegahan penyakit buah manggis getah bening. Metode yang diadopsi untuk mencapai tujuan ini adalah melalui pendidikan, pelatihan, ilmu simulasi dan teknologi, mentoring, dan desain teknologi tepat guna diterapkan. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi: Transfer tenologi yang tepat kepada masyarakat dan pengembangan wawasan kewirausahaan. Ilmu pengetahuan dan diseminasi teknologi kegiatan melalui ini program pelayanan masyarakat berjalan dengan baik ditunjukkan oleh partisipasi aktif mereka dan adopsi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Partisipasi aktif dari mitra dalam semua kegiatan diseminasi teknologi yang cukup tinggi pada adopsi 73,0% dari ilmu pengetahuan dan kemampuan teknologi dan inisiatif mitra untuk menghasilkan produk secara mandiri cukup tinggi pada 80%.

Abstract

Analysis of Watersheds Condition in Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency Using Geographic Information System Water catchment areas are areas where water is released into the soil. The research area has various determinants of water absorption conditions to allow the conditions of the water catchment area to vary. This study aims to determine the state of the water catchment area in Sukasada District and draw up a map of the water catchment area in Suksada District. This research was conducted from July 2020 to October 2020. The method used in this study was the evaluation and overlay using the Geographical Information System. The required parameters are soil type, land use, slope, and precipitation. The results showed that the status classes of the catchment areas were good, naturally normal, critical, somewhat critical, and very critical. The water infiltration status in the study area was dominated by the natural normal class with 3,972 ha (32%), followed by very critical classes with 3,906 ha (24%), more good classes with 3,584 ha (21%), the critical class with 2,165 ha (13%) and the smallest, the somewhat critical class with 1.808 ha (10%).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Evaluation of Soil Fertility Status At Agriculture Land in South Of Denpasar District This study aims to evaluate the status of soil fertility in South Denpasar District. The method used in the research is soil sampling survey with started making land unit acquired by overlaying several thematic maps, then conducted some soil sampling individuals for each land unit who then composited. Soil samples have been obtained and analyzed in the laboratory analysis of soil chemical properties include: 1). Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), 2). Base saturation (BS), 3). Soil Organic Matter, 4). Total Soil Phosphorus, 5).Total Soil Potasium. The results analysis of soil fertility status chemical characteristic are then clasified of soil fertility status based on Bogor Soil Research Center Prosedures (1995). The results showed that in South Denpasar District there are two classes of soil fertility status of medium fertility class (S) which includes land unit DS1 (Subak Renon, Intaran, Sidakarya, Wangbiga), DS2 (Subak Suwung), DS3 (Sanur Kauh) while high soil fertility is also found on the land unit DS1 sample DS1d . Two parameters of soil fertility which is the limiting factor is the low chriteria of soil organic matter status and total soil phosporus. Alternative of management land to address both the limiting factors are the addition of organic matters and phosphorus fertilization. Abstract

Evaluation of Land Suitability of Plantation Commodities in Mandosawu Village Poco Ranaka Sub-District, East Manggarai RegencyThe research aims to evaluate land suitabilty of plantation commodities in Mandosawu Village Poco Ranaka Sub-district. The commodities that are evaluated include cloves, robusta coffee and vanilla. Homogeneous land units based on the result of physiographic analysis and overlapped type of soil, land used and slopes. Evaluation of Land Suitability is a way to know the limiting factor in the research area. Land evaluation conducted by matching method between land characteristic/quality with growth requirement of plant evaluated. The actual land suitability assessment for the three plantation commodities was very appropriate (S1) until appropriate marginal (S3) with temperature, water available and nutrients available (P2O5) become dominant limiting factors. Improvement of land suitability class can be done with improvement effort except rainfall, soil texture, soil depth, moisture and temperature because it is a permanent divider. Fertilization and addition of organic matter can increase the class of land suitability from appropriate marginal (S3) to very appropriate (S1). Results of analysis are used to determine the land managament recommendations on research location. Nonetheless, these results suggested to be applied, for considerations of land conservation as well as farmers welfare.

Abstract

The Study of Potential and of Status Soil Degradation at Agriculture Land in East of Denpasar Sub-DistrictA study was aiming to evaluate soil degradation based on the Standard Criteria of Soil Degradation for Biomass Production under Indonesian Government Regulation No. 150 Year 2000 had done in East of Denpasar Sub-District on 2014. The study was conducted on February to July 2014, at 5 selected observation area. Selection of sampling area was done according to Stratified Purposive Sampling method. Evaluation of soil degradation was carried out as following :(1) to establish a threshold value of soil characteristics and eroded soil potential based on Standard Criteria of Soil (matching process), and (2) to determine the key factors of soil characteristics responsible for soil damage.The study results shows that: Soil condition in the entire East of Denpasar District area could be divided into two group i.e. not degraded at land unit T3 (45,35 ha) and slightly degraded at land unit T1 (248,31), land unit T2 (122,01 ha), land unit 4 (33,72 ha), and land unit 5 (19,28 ha), soil degradation caused by soil permeability.

Abstract

Application of Geographic Information System for Study of Water Table Fluctuations and Characteristics of Aquifers in the South Denpasar District The water needs of the population in South Denpasar District vary greatly depending on community activities. The population and activities of the community that need clean water continue to increase, on the other hand the PDAM of Denpasar City is only able to meet the clean water needs of the population of 46.06% (PDAM Kota Denpasar, 2017). People who have not yet connected PDAM services use ground water as an alternative to making dug wells or bore wells. Excessive use of ground water and exceeding safe discharge will affect groundwater degradation. The purpose of this study was to determine groundwater fluctuations and aquifer characteristics.The method used is a field survey method and quantitative descriptive using ArcGIS 10.4 software. The results showed that the dry season water table depth ranged from 0,8 to 5 m and the rainy season ranged from 0,5 to 3,9 m with groundwater fluctuations ranging from 0.04 to 1,3 m. The direction of groundwater flow from the north to the south with degree N 183o E. A good aquifer is composed of medium-sized sand material, and medium sized brown sand material. Limited aquifers are composed of weathered meosen limestone and sea coral with a discharge of 5-10 liters/second.

Abstract

Remote Sensing and GIS Applications to Support Regional Resource Potential Mapping Tourism in Region Penatih Denpasar City Government programs to increase regional development by promoting the potential of the whole village are being improved. The development is intended to utilize the space and resources to support optimal in public life in accordance with the objectives and the expected goals. Penatih village is an area designated as rural tourism in 1995, but until recently there has been also developed. In support of tourism development in the region, information regarding potential in Penatih attraction needs in the review. In this era of globalization is indispensable information technology based both regions and potential. This study aims to assist the government in development in the village Penatih with the information potential of tourism in the region. The technology can be used to inform potential of tourism in the region Penatih that is Penatih Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS). The results obtained from this research in the form of maps are Subak map, Village map, Agro Tourism map, Culture Tourism Potential map and Tourism map in Coach Area.

Abstract

Evaluation of Land Suitability for Robusta Coffee Plant (Coffea canephora) in Pajahan Village, Pupuan Sub-district, Tabanan Regency Robusta coffee (Coffea canephora) is one of the agricultural commodities that have a profitable prospect. Pupuan sub-district is concentrated of Robusta coffee in Bali Province. Pajahan Village is one of the 14 villages located in Pupuan sub-district which also built Robusta coffee. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Pupuan Sub-district, coffee production in Pajahan Village has continued to decline since 2012 until 2016. Evaluation of Land Suitability is a way to know the limiting factor in the research area. Land evaluation conducted by matching method between land characteristic / quality with growth requirement of plant evaluated. The research was conducted in Pajahan Village, Pupuan Subdistrict and Laboratory of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture - Udayana University. The research was conducted from October to December 2017. The results showed that the actual land suitability classes on the IILckK land unit is S3na2, IIILckK is S3na2.eh1 and IVLckK is Neh1. Fertilization, addition of organic matter, terracing and proper land cover can increase the class of land suitability to be appropriate marginal (S3) to very appropriate (S1). The limiting factor of dry season and moisture is a major limiting factor that can not be repaired.
