Abstract

Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari pupuk organoplus dengan menggunakan teknologi fermentasi. Mikroba fermentor (probiotik) berupa bioinokulan berbasis limbah cairan rumen. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi : bahan baku, mikroba lokal , produksi dan kualitas produksi. Bahan baku berupa kotoran ayam, kotoran sapi, mineral kiserit, ampas anggur,dan arang sekam. Pupuk organoplus merupakan hasil fermentasi skala industri karena bahan baku berupa batuan mineral kaya Mg dan ampas anggur yang dipakai masing-masing sebesar 20% atau berjumlah 40 % dari total bahan baku. Produk organoplus memiliki keunggulan tersendiri, karena komposisi dan konsentrasi haranya yang jauh berbeda,sehingga produk ini relative tidak memiliki kompetitor yang berarti. Pupuk organoplus berfungsi meningkatkan kadar gula buah dan mencegah serangan jamur pada tanaman hortikultura, sehingga buah yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih berkualitas yaitu lebih manis, daya tahan lebih lama, dan menekan getah kuning (pada buah manggis). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi fermentasi, kualitas dari pupuk organoplus dapat ditingkatkan .

Abstract

The community service was conducted in Bebalang village, Bangli regency and aimed to improve the knowledge and innovation technology of farmers, about the using of rice straw as a feed and how to improve its quality. The quality of rice straw including nitrogen total and digestibility could be increased by ammoniated technology using urea. The use of urea was 4% for 100 kg of rice straw or 4 kg for 100 kg of rice straw. The activity was done on Monday, October 30, 2010 and attended by 24 farmers or 100% members of subak at Sedit area, Bangli. The methods used were direct instruction and practice to the farmers. The results of the activity showed that the farmers’ knowledge was improved and the farmers want to apply the ammoniated rice straw as alternative feed for ruminant.

Abstract

Desa pering merupakan salah satu dari sembilan desa yang terdapat di Kecamatan Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar. Desa Pering yang dikenal sebagai salah satu desa pemasok ikan air tawar untuk wilayah Denpasar dan sekitarnya. Terdapat beberapa kelompok tani ikan yang telah berkembang di Desa Pering, salah satunya adalah kelompok tani ikan “Sari Mekar”. Salah satu komoditas air tawar yang biasa dibudidayakan di Desa Pering adalah lele, yang dipelihara secara konvensional dengan menggunakan kolam tanah. Kelompok tani ikan “Sari Mekar” telah berhasil melakukan budidaya lele dengan baik, namun belum mampu memasok kebutuhan lele secara kontinu setiap harinya, karena keterbatasan lahan dan modal yang dimiliki. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah budidaya lele dengan menggunakan sistem bioflock. Kegiatan introduksi sistem bioflock pada usaha budidaya lele kelompok tani ikan “Sari Mekar” dilakukan pada tanggal 29 Agustus 2017, yang dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan kolam lele, demoplot budidaya lele, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa introduksi sistem bioflock pada usaha budidaya lele di kelompok tani ikan “Sari Mekar” telah berjalan dengan sangat baik, terlihat dari antusiasme kelompok untuk segera menerapkan sistem bioflock pada usaha budidaya lele yang mereka lakukan.

Abstract

Generasi muda lulusan perguruan tinggi masih berorientasi sebagai job seeker dan bukan sebagai job maker, sehingga diperlukan adanya program pengembangan kewirausahaan di universitas, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha mahasiswa, dan diharapkan mahasiswa mempunyai keterampilan untuk memulai usaha sehingga mampu mengurangi jumlah pengangguran, serta dapat bersaing dalam dunia kerja. Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) Fakultas Peternakan berusaha untuk dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi mahasiswa ditengah masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui beberapa kegiatan pelatihan kewirusahaan yang dilaksanakan secara daring kombinasi online dan offline. Salah satu kegiatan tersebut yaitu pelatihan tentang pengolahan susu menjadi produk minuman fermentasi seperti yoghurt dan kefir yang dikombinasikan dengan berbagai perisa alami, dan disajikan dengan kemasan yang lebih variatif. Kegiatan ini menarik minat dan meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa Fakultas Peternakan dalam berwirausaha di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Kegiatan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produksi pupuk organik kaya Mg untuk meningkatkan rasa manis pada buah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi : bahan baku, produksi dan proses produksi. Bahan baku berupa kotoran ayam, mineral kiserit dan ampas anggur. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa pupuk organik kaya mineral magnesium (Mg). Proses produksi dimulai dari suplai bahan baku, pengembangan ipteks produksi pupuk (fermentasi), pengawasan mutu (analisa produk) dan packaging. Hasil kegiatan berupa pupuk organik yang kaya mineral magnesium (Mg) untuk meningkatkan rasa manis pada buah. Hasil analisa laboratorium diperoleh kandungan unsur hara sebagai berikut: C/N = 12%, pH: 6,90, C-organik 14% : 2,90 % N, 2,37 % P2O5, 1,39 % K2O dan Mg 22,58% . Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan produksi pupuk organik kaya Mg disesuaikan dengan syarat dan kualitas pupuk organik di Indonesia.

Abstract

A social service was carried out to improve innovation and technological knowledge on the scope of animal husbandry. This social service applied through two methods as of direct application and agricultural extension. The application was done on 102 broiler chickens at the age of 2 weeks which were divided into three groups within three kinds of treatment: First treatment = mixed feed, Second treatment = mixed feed + 0,2% of multi enzyme, Third treatment = Commercial feed. The results of this economic analysis (IOFCC) showed that utilization of mixed feed + 0,2% multi enzyme could give a higher benefit compared with the utilization of mixed feed without mixed of multi enzyme and commercial feed. The agricultural extension was conducted on 23rd of September 2006. The advantageous of multi enzyme supplementary in feed of broiler chicken was being discussed, and then group discussion was carried out to discuss problems faced by the farmer.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determinated the income analysis of bali duck farm fattening was contained ration with mungbean waste fermented. This research was conducted during eight weeks at Raya Sesetan Street Markisa alley no. 5 Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University, South Denpasar District, Denpasar City. The study designed with a complately randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 5 replications, with quantity of bali ducks used 45 heads. The treatments of research were bali duck with commercial ration 100% (P0), commercial ra- tion replaced with mungbean sprout waste fermented 12,5% (P1), and commercial ration replaced with mungbean sprout waste fermented 25% (P2). The research variable is income analysis of bali duck fattening was seen based on cost, revenue, income, R/C ratio and BEP. The results income analysis of bali duck fattening was replaced with mungbean sprout waste fermented 12,5% gives the best results with a net benefit Rp 37.062,-/period or 1.671/kg body weight with the value of R/C ratio is 1,039, BEP units of production 20,63 kg body weight, BEP price is Rp 40.716,-/kg body weight and BEP revenue is Rp 876.574,-/period. Based on the results of the study it can be con- cluded that additional contained ration with mungbean waste fermented could it be increase income of bali duck farm fattening.

Abstract

Beringkit cattle market is the largest cattle market in Bali which is expected to shorten the market chain so that farmers get higher prices. However, only a small proportion of them (6.45%) sell their cattle directly to this market. This study aims to determine the level of farmers satisfaction in marketing of their cattle in the Beringkit cattle market based on five dimensions of service quality include tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The data used are primary data collected through interviews with 100 farmers who sell their cows directly in Beringkit cattle market. The data were analyzed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The results of this study indicate that the farmers are in the satisfied category in marketing of cattle in the Beringkit Market with a CSI of 76.52%. Based on the IPA analysis, it can be seen that most of the service attributes in the Beringkit Market already have high performance. However, there are also some service attributes that are very important for farmers, but their service performance is still low. These attributes in- clude; place to put livestock, convenience of parking space, responsiveness to farmer complaints, a sense of security from the dangers of livestock, and service costs. Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of service in the Beringkit Market is already good, but the quality of service is still very important to improve.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of pig farm by replacing pollard treatment with rice bransupplemented with multiple mineral vitamins. The design used was a randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 groups as replications, grouping based on body weight of pigs. The treatments used were rations using commercial concentrate and pollard (A) as controls, TBN-01 concentrate rations and pollard (B), TBN-01 concentrate rations and rice bran (C), TBN-01 concentrate rations and rice bran with mutli mineral vitamin supplementation pignox (D). The research variables are (1) management of pig husbandry management including selection of seeds, housing, feeding, labor, animal health and marketing. (2) financial analysis of pig fattening business includes total cost, revenue, profit, R/C ratio (revenue and cost ratio), BEP (Break Event Point). The results showed that based on the total cost, the business of pig farming with pollard replacement treatment with rice bran supplemented with multi mineral vitamins amounted to 0,20% (D) resulting in the largest R/C ratio of 1,51 or a percentage of profit of 51%. The conclusion of this study is that with good maintance management seen from body weight gain in treatment D of 23,75 g/head with an R/C ratio of 1,51 and lowering production cost by 1,51%.

Abstract

This study aims at observing the main attributes of bali pigs that prefer as a raw material suckling pig producer.Farmers have to know this thing in order to increase consumer satisfaction and their loyality. The data usedinterview and observation as primary data collected to fifty producers of suckling pig which is located in Bali. Theywere interviewed using questionnaires and analyzed with chi square and multiatribut Fishbein analysis. It showedthat preferences of producers based on attributes of color, gender, body size and body condition significantly differwithin 95% level of interest. Bali pig attributes that preferred by the producer as a raw material of roasted pig isbali pig with balck colour, sex of male, 10 up to 15 kg of body weight and fat body condition. The bali pig attributesconsidered by the producer in making decision to buy from the most consideration to the minimum such as bodysize, body condition, gender, and color. Body condition attribute was considered to be less satisfying for producersindicated with satisfaction score 2.9 from the maximum score of 5. So, it is important that farmers should payattention to these attributes in the future.
