Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic affected all of the country. Not only affected public’s health, pandemic also massively affected the social state and country’s economy. Some of the country already entering the recession, not limited to Indonesia. One of contributed sector in Indonesia’s economy is construction industry sector which this sector now in declining growth. The implementation of Work-from-Home (WFH) in construction company is one of many ways so the economy and construction sector in Indonesia keep on the track. On contrary, contractor’s engineering process in project need intensed communication with stakeholder and direct monitoring so it’s against the WFH concept. This research aim to know the effectivity of every contractor’s engineering process in project during pandemic. The result of research found that quantity survey process, making of method statement, and job safety analysis are effective enough to do with WFH concept. While the process of site construction progress calculation, design fixation, and shopdrawing process and approval are not effective to do wih WFH concept.

Abstract

Abstract The problem that comes from year to year in Jakarta is the high demand for housing, especially for Low-Income Communities. The DKI Jakarta Government has implemented a program that is expected to be able to answer these problems by carrying out a lot of simple flats for rent or simple flats for sale construction and providing subsidies to LowIncome Communities. There are 6 Criteria and 31 Sub-Criteria that underlie the selection of a residence. Analysis of the importance level of criteria segmented according to Low-Income Communities in South Jakarta, obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, where the 3 criteria with the highest order are safe residence, flood-free living area, availability of clean water for daily needs. The data on the importance of criteria based on Low-Income Communities are then analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process by asking 5 experts for the views of what is the best alternative for providing livable housing for Low-Income Communities in South Jakarta. The selection of the location for the construction is based on 5 experts, according to expert judgment Jl. Joe belongs to a relatively quiet area that meets the criteria for a safe place to live, in the Jl. Joe also has a water channel for flood prevention in accordance with the criteria for a flood-free area, while for the availability of clean water for daily needs, the three areas in the proposed alternative have relatively the same availability of clean water.

Abstract

One of the problems of population density is the lack of adequate housing. Krendang Village is one of the most densely populated urban areas with a population density of 76,124 inhabitants/km2. Surveyor training is needed to provide understanding and knowledge to avoid errors in housing backlog data collection during field surveys. The housing backlog data collection process is carried out using the data collection method directly to residents' homes using the MAPID form to facilitate filling out questionnaires based on location intelligence technology. The results of this housing backlog survey can be used as a policy basis for structuring slum areas and also identifying the demographic map of the Krendang Village area. This surveyor training also produces a housing backlog module that can be used as a reference for surveyors.

Abstract

Project communication management is an effort to ensure timeliness, collection and distribution of information according to the times. The level of success of a project has to do with Critical Success Factor (CSF) and one of them is communication. 2020 was a year that changed people's lives around the world because of the COVID-19 pandemic and had an impact on the construction sector in Indonesia. The PUPR Ministry issued Ministerial Instruction No. 02/IN/M/2020 regarding the mechanism for carrying out construction in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in both the government, regional government, BUMN, and private sectors during a pandemic (Construction Bulletin, 2020). In this case the implementation of Work Form Home (WFH) in contractor companies is one of the efforts to minimize the spread of the virus and continue to run the wheels of the economy (Prasetyo, 2022). This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence on the effectiveness of the communication coordination relationship due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the construction process and to analyze whether or not there is a difference in the effectiveness of the communication coordination relationship before the pandemic and during the pandemic from the contractor's point of view. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to contractor stakeholders. Research data processing was carried out using excel and SPSS software. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and comparative analysis.

Abstract

Life Cycle Cost is a method for estimating the total cost of owning a facility which includes all costs associated with purchasing, owning and disposing of a building or building system. It has long been understood that evaluating construction costs only on initial costs is not enough. Thus, it is necessary to calculate maintenance costs during the life of the building. Consideration of the usage costs required throughout the life of the building must be considered. The purpose of this research is to obtain the total cost of life cycle life cycle cost (LCC) for periodic maintenance per 20 years in building construction. In this study, the building to be reviewed is Building X of one of the universities. The part that is calculated for the Life Cycle Cost is the wall elements of the building taking into account the renovation and demolition methods. Through the LCC calculation process for wall work items in the two methods, a total demolition cost of IDR 2,249,506,566.56 was obtained and a total renovation cost of IDR 2,945,332,567. The cost of renovation is greater than the cost of demolition because the planned life of the building decreases during the renovation stage, so that the building must be demolished and costs more.

Abstract

Kelurahan Bendung Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang yang terdiri dari 4 kampung yaitu kampung Ciwedus, kampung lamaran, kampung Cibobomo dan kampung Sungak memiliki jumlah penduduk lebih dari delapan ribu orang. Sebagian besar penduduk wanita berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan merangkap pedagang makanan dirumah maupun di pasar yang menghabiskan sebagian dari waktunya berada di dapur. Dapur sebagai bagian dari ruangan di perumahan memiliki peran besar dalam memenuhi kesehatan keluarga dengan menyajikan makanan yang sehat dan bersih. Kebutuhan akan makanan yang sehat dan bersih dihasilkan dari dapur yang memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan kebersihan. Salah satu alternatif yang ditawarkan adalah ruang dapur yang memiliki meja dapur yang terbuat dari material beton. Material beton selain kuat dan tahan lama juga tahan terhadap panas dan kedap air serta mudah pemeliharaannya.Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat dan memberikan pemahaman tentang pembuatan meja dapur yang sehat, kuat dan tahan lama bagi masyarakat, mengestimasi biaya pembuatan dengan disain sederhana dan mudah dikerjakan serta memenuhi standar perhitungan yang berlaku. Material yang dipakai menggunakan beton sehingga mudah pemeliharaannya dan aman terhadap potensi jika terjadi kebakaran saat memasak. Terkait dengan Mitra maka diharapkan dengan pengetahuan mambangun dan mengestimasi meja dapur dari beton tersebut, masyarakat di Kelurahan Bendung akan mengimplementasikan pengetahuan tersebut dan terus ditularkan kepada masyarakat lain yang membutuhkan untuk menjamin bahwa ruang dapur dalam kondisi bersih, sehat, kuat dan tahan lama.

Abstract

Infrastruktur yang memadai dari sisi Kesehatan dan kekuatan tentunya merupakan harapan seluruh masyarakat untuk mendukung terselenggaranya kegiatan masyarakat dalam menjalankan aktivitas kehidupan. Dari data kependudukan yang diperoleh dari pemerintah Kota Serang, kecamatan Kaseman, di Kelurahan Bendung mempunyai jumlah penduduk sebanyak 8.349 orang, dan terdiri dari 1683 Kepala keluarga, dengan jumlah pria sebanyak 4.164 dan 4.185 adalah wanita dimana sebagian besar wanita berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga yang merangkap sebagai pedagang makanan dirumah ataupun di pasar. Dari sejumlah keluarga yang ada pasti membutuhkan perumahan yang sehat dan kuat. Didalam perumahan penduduk tersebut sangat penting untuk memiliki bangunan yang memenuhi segi kesehatan, kenyamanan, kebersihan pada tiap bagian dari ruangan didalam sebuah rumah tinggal. Dapur sebagai bagian dari ruangan di perumahan berperan cukup yang besar untuk mewujudkan rumah yang sehat, nyaman, bersih. Kebutuhan akan makanan yang sehat tentunya dihasilkan dari dapur yang bersih dan sehat serta kuat. Selain itu dapur juga harus membuat nyaman penggunanya, yaitu dengan tersedianya meja dapur yang sesuai ketinggiannya dan terbuat dari bahan yang tahan panas, kedap air dan kuat serta tahan lama. Meja dapur dari beton adalah salah satu alternatif meja dapur yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Dengan latar belakang tersebut maka topik pengabdian kepada masyarakat tahun akadedemik ini adalah “Perencanaan Pembuatan meja Dapur Dari Beton” dan tujuan dari penyuluhan tentang perencanaan pembuatan meja dapur dari beton adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan menambah wawasan masyarakat Kelurahan Bendung kecamatan Kasemen untuk dapat merencanakan dan membuat sendiri meja dapur khususnya dari beton sesuai standar perhitungan yang berlaku.

Abstract

The construction industry is undergoing significant transformation in the era of globalization and technological advancements, particularly with the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems. Accelerating the implementation of BIM in Indonesia requires collaboration among various parties, including academia, practitioners, and institutions. Therefore, it is crucial for students to learn about BIM to prepare a competent and adaptable workforce for the future development of construction technology. The aim of this activity is to enhance understanding of the importance of introducing construction planning with BIM technology systems to students at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta, in preparation for them to become ready-to-use workforce in the construction industry, which is increasingly oriented towards information technology. The implementation method involves delivering material sessions followed by questionnaire sessions to assess the level of understanding among students. The results of this activity indicate that 26 students (53.1%) are very proficient in this subject, 19 students (38.8%) are categorized as proficient, and 4 students (8.2%) are categorized as adequately proficient.

Abstract

The Kampung Rawa sub-district is part of an initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of settlements by structuring integrated residential areas. It is known as one of the most densely populated sub-districts, with a population density of 68,956.67 people/km2. The surveyor and Dasawisma training program aims to equip participants with knowledge on collecting data about backlogs and uninhabitable houses (RTLH) based on building reliability, thereby minimizing errors during implementation. Data collection involves visiting residents' homes to assess building conditions and completing a form integrated with the Jakarta Satu website. The outcome of this training is an improvement in the knowledge and skills of surveyors and Dasawisma in conducting backlog and building reliability surveys in the field. The training also resulted in the development of a module as a reference guide for surveyors in assessing building reliability.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerumahan Griya Bintara Indah di Kecamatan Bekasi Barat sering mengalami genangan pada saat hujan dengan intensitas tinggi. Pada saat hujan tinggi, genangan pada Perumahan Griya Bintara Indah disebabkan sebagian saluran drainasenya sudah tidak mampu menampung air hujan dan elevasi muka air saluran drainase di hilir lebih rendah dari pada elevasi muka air di outletnya sehingga terjadi aliran balik. Penanganan genangan harus komprehensif, diusulkan dimensi saluran drainase eksisting di bagian hulu perumahan diperbesar dan di bagian hilir dibangun kolam retensi dengan pompa. Ada 2 alternatif yang diteliti, yaitu alternatif 1 kolam retensi tanpa merubah dimensi dan alternatif 2 kolam retensi dengan merubah dimensi. Metode studi kelayakan ekonomi yang digunakan adalah Metode Analisis Sensitivitas. Hasil dari analisis hidrologi dan hidraulika ada 37 ruas saluran eksisting sudah tidak mampu menampung debit banjir kawasan, sehingga diusulkan saluran eksisting diperbesar dengan U-ditch 500/500 dan kolam retensi dibangun dengan volume 35.481,62 m³. Dari hasil studi kelayakan ekonomi alternatif 2 mempunyai kelebihan dibanding alternatif 1. Biaya pengeluaran untuk alternatif 2 lebih kecil dari alternatif 1 sehingga penghematan biaya alternatif 2 lebih besar dari alternatif 1. Selanjutnya, dampak dari genangan akan hilang total pada alternatif 2.Kata kunci: saluran drainase, kolam retensi, studi kelayakan ekonomi ABSTRACTThe Griya Bintara Indah Housing Complex in West Bekasi District often experiences inundation during high-intensity rains. During heavy rains, inundation in the Griya Bintara Indah Housing Complex is caused by fact that some of the drainage channels are no longer able to accommodate rainwater and the water level of the downstream drainage channels is lower than the water level at the outlet, resulting in backwater. Management of inundation must be comprehensive in the upstream part of the housing it is proposed to enlarge the dimensions of the existing drainage channels and in the downstream part to build a retention pond with pumps. There are 2 alternatives studied, namely alternative 1 the retention pond without changing the dimension and alternative 2 the retention pond by changing the dimensions. The economic feasibility study method used is the Sensitivity Analysis Method. The results of the hydrological and hydraulics analysis show that 37 existing canal sections are no longer able to accommodate regional flood discharges, so it is proposed that the existing canals be enlarged with U-ditch of 500/500 and a retention pond built with a volume 35,481.62 m3. From the results of the economic feasibility study, alternative 2 has advantages over alternative 1. Expenditure cost for alternative 2 is smaller than alternative 1. The amount of cost savings for alternative 2 is greater than alternative 1. Furthermore, the impact of inundation will disappear completely in alternative.Keywords: drainage channel, retention pond, economic feasibility study
