Abstract

Sustainable construction is a way of implementing sustainable development of the construction industry and infrastructure through building a better quality of life, and minimizing the use of resources and energy in order to actualize The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The use of construction materials is one source of carbon dioxide emissions and material delivery is one of the stages in the construction material supply chain that has the potential to cause CO2 emissions, one of which is the use of formwork. Global warming is closely related to carbon footprint. The research was done by surveying the building construction project followed by data processing which aims to find out how much carbon emissions are generated by construction projects in the contracting process, delivery, formwork fabrication process, and the use of tower cranes and find out what factors contribute to the carbon footprint and what processes are most significant in producing carbon footprints. The results show that carbon emissions for 28 floors amounted to 84,815.1037 kg.CO2 and by doing 2 scenarios in which scenario 1 maximizes the carrying capacity of each delivery truck during the delivery process and delivery for all the needs of 1 tower is carried out during the GF floor and first floor work, the resulting carbon emission efficiency is 2289.0626 kg. CO2 and in scenario 2 where the delivery of multiplexes for the needs of only 1 floor, which makes delivery carried out for each floor and makes the delivery distance half the actual distance, the resulting carbon emission efficiency is 4628.7909 kg.CO2.

Abstract

A high-rise building project can be considered as a high-risk project because the work items are quite a lot and high in the structure being built, the occupational health and safety (OHS) of construction plays an important role in the smooth implementation of a construction project. Construction OHS conducts safety briefing to all construction workers when they enter the construction project environment and every morning before the construction begins. Two information systems are used to inform the workers about the conditions and hazards in the construction projects, namely tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge. Therefore, safety induction is less effective and hinders the implementation of construction project work, where construction workers do not know situations that occur when carrying out a job socialized by OHS officers. In this problem, a simulation must be carried out before workers do their work, to carry out this simulation can be done with virtual reality technology. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the OHS staff of construction projects in Jakarta while the data from the questionnaires were calculated. This study aims to find out a list of risks that are still relevant including tacit knowledge and obtained 11 work risks including tacit knowledge from 38 work risks for building construction projects in Jakarta. Keywords: Construction, OHS, Risk, Knowledge management, Virtual reality.

Abstract

Construction of the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Parking Building project is conducted by using a design-build procurement system. During its implementation, 36 changes were made to the working drawings for the ground structure. This was due to the existing ground conditions and changes in space allocation at the client’s request. Objectives: This research aims to compare the waste of reinforcement materials that can occur between conventional methods and BIM methods, particularly in the design work. Methodology and results: In order to be able to calculate the volume of iron material using BIM, working drawing data was collected. In addition, an interview was conducted with the contractor to obtain detailed information on the revised working drawings. The BIM method of calculating the volume of material is carried out using the supporting software Autodesk Revit. Conclusion, Significance, and implications: The results showed that the waste material ratio value of the BIM method was higher than the conventional method with the results in the conventional method is 4.83% and in the BIM method is 6.58%. These results contribute to the development of material waste evaluation, especially in the type of design project. However, previous research that has been conducted focuses more on the type of construction project only.

Abstract

The data collection of housing database in Jembatan Besi Village conducted by surveyors from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Trisakti University often encounters data errors and obstacles during its implementation. These errors can be in the form of incorrect writing of addresses, family card numbers, head of family NIKs, or geotagging (location points) of buildings. Therefore, in the middle of the data collection, a workshop was held to analyze and evaluate the data that had been entered and to correct data errors. The method used is through data checking by field coordinators and repairs are carried out simultaneously. Workshop activities include presentation of the progress of the 50% survey results, data validation and verification, and data correction. During the workshop, the survey results were obtained as much as 60.55% with a total of 2,704 buildings and data correction facilities including geotagging, RT and RW data, Family Card Numbers, NIK, address writing, and deleting duplicate data.

Abstract

Rapid population growth in DKI Jakarta has led to increased territorial density, resulting in a growing number of slums and a housing gap in the availability of decent housing. One of the main challenges in urban planning is the unavailability of accurate and up-to-date data on Unfit-for-Habitation Houses (RTLH), which is still based on sampling methods. Therefore, the primary objective of this community service activity is to develop an efficient data update framework, enabling the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (DPRKP) to update data in real-time without the need for extensive re-surveys. The implementation method involved outreach to the Sub-Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (PRKP) across various administrative regions of Jakarta, followed by question-and-answer sessions and discussions. The results indicate that the developed data update framework can enhance the accuracy and efficiency of RTLH information management, thereby supporting more effective data-driven decision-making for the local government.

Abstract

Abstract The problem that comes from year to year in Jakarta is the high demand for housing, especially for Low-Income Communities. The DKI Jakarta Government has implemented a program that is expected to be able to answer these problems by carrying out a lot of simple flats for rent or simple flats for sale construction and providing subsidies to LowIncome Communities. There are 6 Criteria and 31 Sub-Criteria that underlie the selection of a residence. Analysis of the importance level of criteria segmented according to Low-Income Communities in South Jakarta, obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, where the 3 criteria with the highest order are safe residence, flood-free living area, availability of clean water for daily needs. The data on the importance of criteria based on Low-Income Communities are then analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process by asking 5 experts for the views of what is the best alternative for providing livable housing for Low-Income Communities in South Jakarta. The selection of the location for the construction is based on 5 experts, according to expert judgment Jl. Joe belongs to a relatively quiet area that meets the criteria for a safe place to live, in the Jl. Joe also has a water channel for flood prevention in accordance with the criteria for a flood-free area, while for the availability of clean water for daily needs, the three areas in the proposed alternative have relatively the same availability of clean water.
