Abstract

A courier is someone who is tasked with delivering packages in the form of documents or other items to individuals, businesses, institutions, or government agencies. Courier is not a new profession. This job has existed since ancient times, when people would run to deliver messages or items to someone. From there, the word courier emerged in English, which comes from the Greek word curere, meaning to run. Some issues that arise include the lack of flexible working arrangements, which is why work-life balance is introduced here as a bridge to enhance employee achievements by implementing a flexible working system. This study aims to confirm the influence of flexible working on employee achievements mediated by work-life balance among couriers in Mamuju. This study uses a quantitative approach to analyze data related to the variables whose relationships will be examined. This study used a sample of 100 respondents with snowball sampling technique using SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). The results of this study show that flexible working does not affect employee achievement, flexible working does not affect work-life balance, work-life balance affects employee achievement, and work-life balance does not directly mediate the relationship between flexible working and employee achievement

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Employee Engagement influence the performance of Family Planning Counselors in West Sulawesi Province. Given their strategic role as the frontline agents in promoting population and family development programs, understanding the key factors that affect their work effectiveness is crucial. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 55 active counselors and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings reveal that both QWL and employee engagement have a positive and significant impact on counselor performance. When analyzed simultaneously, these two variables accounted for 71.6% of the variance in performance. Interestingly, employee engagement emerged as the more dominant factor compared to QWL. This highlights the critical role of emotional and psychological involvement in fostering dedication and commitment to their responsibilities. These results provide practical implications for policymakers in designing performance improvement strategies that focus on enhancing work environment quality and strengthening employee engagement in a comprehensive manner

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the implementation of SIGA and employees' digital competence influence work effectiveness within the Representative Office of BKKBN in West Sulawesi Province. A quantitative approach was employed, involving a sample of 101 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both independent variables have a positive and significant effect on work effectiveness (significance value = 0.000). The findings reveal that an improvement in SIGA implementation contributes to a 0.290-point increase in work effectiveness, while enhanced digital competence has a greater impact, contributing 0.423 points. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.633 indicates that approximately 63.3% of the variance in employee work effectiveness can be explained by the combination of the two variables. Among them, digital competence emerges as the most dominant factor, as reflected by its higher standardized beta value compared to SIGA implementation

Abstract

This study aims to understand how diversity, inclusion, and work creativity affect employee performance at the BKKBN Representative of West Sulawesi Province. The approach used was quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The entire research population amounted to 58 people, and of these, 30 respondents were selected based on purposive sampling technique with the criteria: female gender and maximum age of 55 years. The results of the analysis show that together, the three variables have a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.587. This means that most of the variation in performance can be explained by diversity, inclusion and work creativity. However, separately, only work creativity has a significant effect on employee performance. Diversity and inclusion have not shown a statistically meaningful impact. These findings emphasize the important role of individual innovation in driving bureaucratic performance, as well as the need to strengthen diversity and inclusion practices to contribute significantly to organizational productivity
