Abstract

Research aims to provide additional resources for teachers in elementary schools in selecting Indonesia language learning media , and their learning Indonesian is still a pragmatic and functional , the existing problems in the field, found learning the Indonesian language less use of instructional media as learning resources, the learning process is very dependent on student and teacher textbooks only. The lack of use of media and assistive devices or teaching aids during learning and the absence of teacher efforts to develop Indonesian language material and do not pay attention to the needs of students, especially reading material, reading is a basic foundation for children because it supports the learning process for all material in elementary school. The use of media Compic (Computer picture ) in accordance with the concept of learning to learn from the easy to the more difficult , expected researchers to teachers Indonesia language become a reference media in the learning process, especially for the improvement of reading in elementary school. In this research the authors used the library method. Data analysis techniques used is content analysis, which be obtained results that by using the Media learning Compic (Computer Picture ) in learning the language Indonesia especially reading material, reading skills of students in elementary schools , especially in low grade can be improved

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengthening of national insight for the young generation of Serang City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study numbered 10 people, community leaders and members. The results of this study indicate that the community plays a role in strengthening national insight for the younger generation in Serang City. Members are very enthusiastic about the programs available in the community. This can judge from the changes in behavior of each member, they always participate actively. in the community program. From this activity, the chairman stated that the program organized by the community is able to provide insight into strengthening nationality for the younger generation. In developing the strengthening of insight nationality members are able to implement the programs that have been implemented in community life. The younger generation is more active in implementing its duties as a youth to become an ideal youth after the program took place, the members got to know each other's characters better. through favorite programs such as cheerful week, community birthday, big day competitions (coloring competition for national figures, independence day, heroes day, national education day) and exercise activities held on weekends. There are efforts and obstacles experienced by the community. The efforts are the headquartersis self-owned, there is assistance from the community and institutions Indonesian and regional and city libraries. While the constraints are that there is a small number of members, limited budget and insightful programs monotonous nationality.

Abstract

Today's technological developments are growing rapidly and entering all aspects of life, including education. This development should be utilized by teachers to create interesting and innovative learning. Interesting learning is not only determined by the way the material is delivered, but also by the media and resources used in the learning. In this digital era, teachers must be sensitive to it. Millennial era students are very proficient and dependent on technology, for this reason ateaching material is needed that can facilitate students in learning which can be accessed easily anywhere and anytime. The current Pandemic era requires learning to be done online. Library books certainly cannot be accessed from home. For this reason, teaching materials based on TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) are needed. Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University as one of the LPTK has a moral responsibility in providing professional, competent, and creative educators. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out activities that can facilitate teachers to develop their abilities in designing and developing TPACK-based teaching materials. This activity aims to assist and develop teachers' abilities in developing creative and innovative teaching materials based on TPACK. In achieving this goal, the stages of the activity are designed, namely preparation of training modules and preparation of instructors, implementation including presentation of material from resource persons related to TPACK-oriented teaching materials, and conducting workshops and mentoring periodically. The last stage is evaluation which aims to measure the effectiveness of the program. The output of this activity is compiling TPACK-oriented teaching materials

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunanan media flash card terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan serta mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan dengan menggunaka media flash card pada kelas 1 SD Negeri 3 Bolang pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonquivalent control grup design. Terdapat dua kelas dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 20 peserta didik diberi perlakuan dan kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 20 peserta didik yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari instrumen test berupa pretest dan posttest. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes lisan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh media Flash Card  terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik. Dilihat dari hasil analisis data bahwa nilai tes akhir kemampuan membaca permulaan pada kelas 1A  sebesar 73,6 lebih besar dari kelas 1 B yaitu sebesar 58,6, hasil ini menunjukan bahwasannya pada kelas I A yang diberi perlakuan dengan media Flash Card  lebih baik dibandingkan kelas I B yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Flash Card berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Research shows that primary school children need learning that encourages students to be more creative in exploring and discovering scientific concepts and principles deeply and authentically, both individually and in groups. In addition, learning that emphasizes direct student involvement in the learning process to ensure that students gain a more meaningful learning experience. Webbed type integrated learning model is one of the examples. Literature review was used as the method. The research stages began with article collection, reduction, performance, discussion, and conclusion. The research data sources are national journal articles in the last 4 years (2019-2023). Based on the results of the study, it shows that in applying the webbed type learning model in the classroom, it needs to be designed in advance in order to get good results, the steps are: (1) Theme Development, (2) Sub-Theme Development, (3) Learning Activity Development, (4) Use, (5) Media Monitoring and Reflection, (6) Teamwork Development, and (7) Evaluation

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing how the implementation of the bilingual program improves students' English speaking skills and English speaking skills at SD Tiara School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to examine the condition of the phenomenon or natural materials. The subjects in this study were the principal, English teachers, and grade III students of SD Tiara School. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions or verifying data. Then the data was tested for validity with the credibility, transferability, dependability and conformability test techniques. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the bilingual program, such as Cooking Class, English Festival, and English, science, and math subjects, as well as habits at SD Tiara School succeeded in significantly improving students' English speaking skills. This can be seen from the results of interviews and observations which showed that students were more confident in using both languages in everyday communication and in academic contexts. The bilingual program at SD Tiara School has succeeded in improving students' English speaking skills, this can be seen from the results of students' speaking scores for a year starting from grade 2 semester 2 to grade 3 semester 2. The average number of students' scores in grade 2 semester 2 reached 87.35 and in grade 3 semester 2 reached 90. The increase from 87.35 to 90 shows an increase in English speaking skills.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research, which consists of several aspects of treatment and the main observation, namely improving students' reading ability with picture storybook media. The research was carried out at SDN Cigoong 3 Serang City which was registered in the 2022/2023 school year. This study uses the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of two cycles. Where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of pre-cycle observations showed that the average level of individual absorption was only 64.97. In the 1st cycle action, the average completeness of individual absorption capacity was obtained of 70.88. In cycle 2, there was an increase with an average individual absorption completeness of 78.3. Thus, it can be concluded that learning using picture storybook media can improve the reading ability of students in grade 1 of SDN Cigoong 3 Serang City.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of developing student creativity through robotics extracurriculars. This research was carried out at one of the schools in Cilegon Regency/City, namely at SD YPWKS II. YPWKS II Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative approach and the method used is the descriptive method. [A1] The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. By triangulating the sources of school principals, extracurricular teachers and students. The results of this research indicate that the purpose of robotics extracurricular activities is to provide facilities for interests and talents that suit students' needs and provide opportunities for students to hone their skills in the field of robotics. In the application of robotics extracurricular activities, it is usually carried out starting from opening activities, core activities and closing activities. In accordance with the data obtained by researchers, student creativity after the implementation of robotic extracurricular activities at YPWKS II Elementary School, it can be concluded that there are several students who have fulfilled several aspects of creativity.[A2]  namely the fluency aspect where students can produce ideas, flexibility students can think from different points of view and find solutions, originality students can produce unique ideas, and elaboration students can develop and expand existing ideas.
