Abstract

RESUME: Penelitian ini mengembangkan model pembelajaran PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013, dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran tematik-integratif, sainstifik, dan PBL (Problem Based Learning). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan, dengan subjek penelitian mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Semester III yang telah memperoleh mata kuliah Pedagogi Pendidikan Dasar pada Semester I di Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar, Sekolah Pascasarjana UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) di Bandung. Hasil penelitian berupa program PCK untuk perkuliahan Pedagogi dan mata kuliah Konsentrasi Bahasa, perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan PCK dan Kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar. Kesulitan yang dialami guru ketika implementasi PCK dan Kurikulum 2013, antara lain: sulit memadukan KD (Kompetensi Dasar), serta materi ajar sulit dirinci karena KD terlalu luas dan bias. Para guru memerlukan panduan silabus dan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) yang standar dan panduan pelaksanaan peer-teaching. Di samping itu, guru belum dapat melaksanakan PBL, pendekatan sainstifik, dan PAKEM (Pembelajaran yang Aktif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan) secara baik, karena pemahaman pendekatan mengajar masih terbatas. Karena itu, perlu sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi Kurikulum 2013 berikut perangkatnya, seperti Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa secara menyeluruh bagi Sekolah Dasar.KATA KUNCI: Pedagogical Content Knowledge; Pendidikan Dasar; Kurikulum 2013; Guru Sekolah Dasar; Implementasi Kurikulum. ABSTRACT: “PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) for Graduate Master Students of Elementary Education in the Context of 2013 Curriculum Implementation”. This research develops a model of PCK learning based on 2013 Curriculum by applying thematic-integrative, scientific, and PBL (Problem Based Learning). The method of the research is Research and Development method, with the third semester magister students of Basic Education Program who has complete Basic Pedagogy course at the first semester as the subject of the research at the Post Graduate School, Magister of Basic Education Program UPI (Indonesia University of Education) in Bandung. The result of the study is a PCK learning program of Pedagogy and Language concentration courses, learning instruments based on PCK, and 2013 Curriculum. The obstacles in implementing PCK and 2013 Curriculum are difficulties in combining Basic Competencies, and specified learning materials as the Basic Competencies were too broad and bias. Teachers need a standard sylabus, learning preparation, and peer-teaching guide books. Teachers also still unable to apply Problem Based Learning, Scientific approach, and PAKEM (Learning by Active, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable) effectively as the lack of teaching approach comprehension. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari suatu fakta sebagian besar siswa Sekolah Dasar dalam segi literasi pencapaiannya sangat kurang, khususnya pada literasi perpustakaan digital. Problematika seperti ini salah satunya disebabkan guru dalam pembelajaran masih kurang memanfaatkan ketersediaan literasi digital dan terlalu mengandalkan pembelajaran klasikal. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan siswa kesulitan dalam mencari inspirasi dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data empirik terkait kemampuan literasi perpustakaan digital pada siswa kelas IV di SDN Cikampek Selatan 2 dengan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (KBTT). Guru idealnya mampu menerapkan pendekatan, model, metode dan media pembelajaran yang tepat dalam suatu pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran yang digiatkan dapat berkesan bagi siswa. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cikampek Selatan 2 Kecamatan Cikampek, Kabupaten Karawang pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 40orang siswa. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Cara pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi kemampusan literasi perpustakaan digital, tes hasil belajar, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata perolehan skor kemampuan literasi perpustakaan digital siswa sebesar 70, dengan persentase ketuntasan minimal 85%. Dilihat dari perolehan skor siklus pertama, siklus kedua dan siklus ketiga didapat hasil skor rata-rata kelas meningkat dari yang hanya 63.34 dengan ketuntasan 42.5%, pada siklus kedua mulai meningkat menjadi 75.49 dengan ketuntasan 72.5%, hingga pada siklus ketiga mencapai nilai rata-rata kelas 85.16 dengan ketuntasan 87.5%. Selain itu, dilihat dari indikator hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan rata-rata perolehan nilai siswa sebesar 70, dengan persentase ketuntasan minimal 85% juga. Dilihat dari perolehan nilai hasil belajar siswa, dari siklus pertama, siklus kedua, hingga siklus ketiga didapat hasil nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat dari yang hanya 74 dengan ketuntasan belajar 65%, pada siklus kedua mulai meningkat menjadi 79 dengan ketuntasan belajar 75%, hingga pada siklus ketiga mencapai nilai rata-rata kelas 85.5 dengan ketuntasan belajar 92.5%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat diambil simpulan bahwa pembelajaran Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (KBTT) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi perpustakaan digital dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pengimplementasian pembelajaran Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (KBTT) dapat mempermudah siswa menemukan banyak inspirasi dan wawasan yang lebih luas serta menjadikan siswa menjadi lebih kritis, kreatif, aktif dan termotivasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to design a multimedia based literacy learning model using PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, Fun Learning). This research was located in a remote area in West Java. This research used Research and Development approach. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview, questionnaire and performance assess-ment. The instruments used include RPP, IPKG I, and IPKG II in order to assess the RPP and the learning process. The data analysis was qualitatively descriptive which include: 1) Theoretical analysis about literacy, multimedia and PAIKEM; 2) The analysis of teacher's ability in literacy learning, media and PAIKEM approach; 3) Assessment of teacher's need for media; 4) The devel-opment of learning models which are suitable with teachers' and students' need in remote areas; 5) The analysis of the model developed; 6) Analysis for improvement; 7) Analysis for refinement and dissemination. This research involved two remote schools in Subang regency dan West Ban-dung regency. The results showed that teachers in remote areas of West Java needed training on literacy materials and methods based on PAIKEM and computer use for learning media. Penelitian ini berlokasi di daerah terpencil Jawa Barat. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan, “Research Development” . Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kajian pustaka, observasi, wawancara, angket dan penilaian kinerja. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari RPP dan IPKG I serta IPKG II untuk menilai RPP dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif mencakup: 1) Analisis teoritis tentang literasi, multimedia dan Pembelajaran Aktif, Kreatif, Inovatif dan Menyenangkan (PAIKEM); 2). Analisis kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran literasi, media dan pendekatan PAIKEM; 3) Analisis kebutuhan guru (need assessment) tentang media; 4) Pengembangan model pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan guru dan murid di daerah terpencil;5)Analisis hasil pengembangan model, 6) Analisis untuk perbaikan, 7) Analisis penyempurnaan dan penyebarluasan. Setting yang digunakan adalah dua sekolah terpencil di Kabupaten Subang dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru di daerah terpencil Jawa Barat memerlukan pelati-han materi dan metode literasi berdasarkan PAIKEM dan penggunaan komputer untuk media pem-belajaran. Abstract

The quality of learning carried out by an educator has not yet received serious attention. This has an impact on the low quality of graduates produced. The core research aims to develop and implement Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) for participants of the Prajabatan Elementary Teacher Professional Program (PPG). The method used is a combined qualitative and quantitative approach with the R D method with a 4 D path modification, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects in this study were 42 students of Prajabatan Elementary School PPG students who were divided into control and experimental classes. 21 students each. The results of this study are in the form of a literacy and high-level TPACK-based TPACK model and the results of the pretest and posttest scores with a significance value of 0.001 which can be concluded that the TPACK-based literacy model and high-level thinking abilities influence the learning quality of Prajabatan Elementary School students.Kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan seorang pendidik hingga saat ini belum mendapatkan perhatian yang serius. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian inti bertujuan untuk menyusun dan menerapkan Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) bagi peserta Program Profesi Guru (PPG) SD Prajabatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode R D dengan modifikasi alur 4 D, yakni define, design, develop, dan  disseminate  Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PPG SD Prajabatan yang berjumlah 42 mahasiswa yang terbagi ke dalam kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 21 mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa model TPACK berbasis literasi dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi serta hasil perolehan nilai pretest dan postes dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa model TPACK berbasis literasi dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran mahasiswa PPG SD Prajabatan.

Abstract

In recent days there is a growing interest in the study of creative writing. A number of approaches for teaching creative writing have also been investigated.  However, studies investigating creative writing particularly for primary school students are hardly to find. The aim of the present research is to figure out how conferencing approach is applied to teach poetry writing and to find out the impact of this approach to the students’ writing skills. The study used a classroom action research with 30 sixth-grade students as the participants. To ensure the present approach effectively improves the learning achievement, the study used three cycles of teaching steps, including classical, group, and individual. Various media and sources to support the learning activities were also used. The results of the study show that there is a significant improvement in students’ writing skills, in which the average score of the third cycle was twice higher than that of the first cycle. This suggests that conferencing instruction had been successful in improving students’ writing skills. The process of interaction, both among students and between students and the teachers, were also emphasized. In addition, the teachers gained an experience of assesing poetry writing analytically using four aspects: creative idea, diction, information, and imagination.

Abstract

Research aims to provide additional resources for teachers in elementary schools in selecting Indonesia language learning media , and their learning Indonesian is still a pragmatic and functional , the existing problems in the field, found learning the Indonesian language less use of instructional media as learning resources, the learning process is very dependent on student and teacher textbooks only. The lack of use of media and assistive devices or teaching aids during learning and the absence of teacher efforts to develop Indonesian language material and do not pay attention to the needs of students, especially reading material, reading is a basic foundation for children because it supports the learning process for all material in elementary school. The use of media Compic (Computer picture ) in accordance with the concept of learning to learn from the easy to the more difficult , expected researchers to teachers Indonesia language become a reference media in the learning process, especially for the improvement of reading in elementary school. In this research the authors used the library method. Data analysis techniques used is content analysis, which be obtained results that by using the Media learning Compic (Computer Picture ) in learning the language Indonesia especially reading material, reading skills of students in elementary schools , especially in low grade can be improved

Abstract

Digital literacy is one of the reading movements that elementary school students must have in the 21st century. Social media allows students to be actively involved in increasing the reading interest of elementary school students to obtain new information. The role of digital use in today's modern era is very effective and efficient to increase reading interest, but in the context of language learning, teachers still have to be guided by using social media facilities so that students don't fall into consuming hoax or fake news. From the hoax news that is spread, researchers suspect that increasing reading interest from social media through digital literacy has a very big effect. This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between digital literacy and reading interest from social media in dealing with hoax stories of elementary school students. The method used in this research is literature study or literature study. The results showed that in general, the application of digital literacy was able to increase reading interest in overcoming hoax news from social media. Furthermore, suggestions from researchers so that students have good reading interests need to be trained continuously by applying digital literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

This paper is a literature review that describes a multimodal approach to literacy practice in elementary school students. This approach provides opportunities for students to be creative and educative. Usually, the teacher when teaching is less active and students only watch and listen to what is being said, but the teacher does not activate the atmosphere, the child tends to be silent even just playing. Students are confused about getting ideas to tell stories freely and widely because students are only fixated on one reading book. In its implementation, a multimodal approach in elementary schools can be carried out by focusing on writing and drawing activities, assisted by digital technology that can provide interesting information. Digital technology provides many benefits in terms of linguistics, audio, visual, spatial, and gestures in creating a story. To learn something, students must be smart in literacy, namely in writing, reading, and listening. The four languages are interrelated. In life we are inseparable from communication, now it is not the only face to face but we can communicate via electronic media. Multimodal is a resource for children to build ideas and help students' minds more open. With a multimodal approach, it is a student's experience that is always remembered, this provision does not only apply to elementary schools but will be useful until later continuing with higher education.

Abstract

Learning during the pandemic period requires educators to know technology and master pedagogy skills well. Good teacher speaking speech acts are a form of skill that will have an impact on the character of students, especially at the elementary school level. This study aims to describe the speech acts used by elementary school teachers in learning during the pandemic. The method used is descriptive analysis method using a qualitative approach. The data source used was the speech acts of elementary school teachers. The technique used is the technique of recording, listening, and taking notes. Data analysis techniques consist of (1) data collection (2) data reduction (3) data presentation (4) verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study are expected to describe the forms of directive, representative, expressive, commissive, declarative speech acts, and direct and indirect speech acts to elementary school teachers in learning during the pandemic.
