Abstract: Hypertension is a serious medical condition and can increase the risk of heart, brain, kidney and other diseases. The results of the initial survey, it is known that based on medical record data in 2022, there were 91 patients with hypertension at Grestelina Hospital. While in 2023 there was an increase of 208 patients. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at the Grestelina Hospital Polyclinic room in November 2023. The sample amounted to 24 people using accidental sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p value: 0.003) and lifestyle (p value: 0.024) on the incidence of hypertension. It is recommended that hypertensive patients pay more attention to health conditions by implementing a healthy lifestyle regularly and the family or the closest person to the patient motivates the patient to always maintain health by helping to manage a regular lifestyle.Keywords: Hypertension, Lifestyle, Age.

Complaint handling is one of the factors that affect the quality and satisfaction of clients. Complaint handling can be known by how to handle complaints from patients. Nurses need to improve the quality of nurse response and Complaint handling in serving patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse response time and complaint handling of families of traffic accident patients in nursing services at the Emergency Department of Dumai City Hospital. Correlational study research design with 98 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of the Spearmen rank test analysis showed that there was a relationship between nurse response time and complaint handling in the emergency room of the Dumai City Hospital (p=0.000 <α). It is expected that the management of Dumai City Hospital can make input in making nursing service policies in meeting patient needs.Keywords: Complaint handling, Nurse, Response Time

ARV treatment adherence is necessary for successful treatment. Non-adherence in treatment can lead to failure of low virology first-line treatment regimens. This study aims to determine the factors associated with adherence of PLWHA in undergoing Antiretroviral (ARV) therapy at the VCT Clinic of Selasih Hospital, Pelalawan Regency. The study was quantitative in nature with a cross sectional approach. The population was all PLWHA who received ARV therapy as many as 116 people. The sample size of 54 respondents was taken using accidental sampling technique. Measuring instrument research questionnaire. Data analysis with chi square test. The results showed that the majority of high knowledge 41 respondents (75.9%) negative motivation as many as 34 respondents (63%), family did not support as many as 28 respondents (51.9%), There is a relationship between motivation (p=0.006) and family support (p=0.014) with PLWHA compliance in undergoing ARV therapy. It is concluded that the variables associated with adherence of PLWHA in undergoing ARV therapy are motivation and family support. It is recommended to respondents to be able to increase motivation and compliance in undergoing Antiretroviral (ARV) therapy by picking up drugs on time to the hospital and taking ARV drugs in a disciplined manner.Keywords: Antiretrovirals, Motivation, PLHIV, Knowledge

ABSTRAK Desa Silian Satu adalah desa yang lokasinya berada di daerah rawan bencana khususnya gunung berapi yaitu gunung Soputan yang aktif dan tercatat terjadi letusan yang cukup sering dalam rentang waktu beberapa tahun sekali.Gunung Soputan berjarak sekitar 3 km atau 50 kilometer di sebelah barat daya-selatan kota Manado dan berjarak sekitar 12 kilometer di sebelah timur laut kota Tombatu, kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. Peran serta Masyarakat sangat penting untuk menetukan keberhasilan kegiatan pengabmas ini. . Untuk itu masyarakat perlu mendapatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang balut bidai dan evakuasi dakam rangka kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana. Target capaian kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di desa Silian Satu kecamatan Silian Raya adalah Mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan teknik evakuasi dan balut bidai terhadap pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat desa Silian Satu Kecamatan Silian Raya terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal.

Abstract: Stroke is a non-communicable disease that is the second leading cause of death in the world after heart disease. Based on data searches, it is known that there are cases of stroke at PON Hospital based on age and gender classification in 2021, namely ischemic stroke cases as many as 3882 cases while hemorrhagic stroke cases were 803 cases consisting of male gender as many as 3001 patients and female 1684 patients and with an age range of under 15 years to over 65 years. The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation of age and gender to the incidence of stroke. The research design is a cross sectional retrospective study, namely data obtained by looking at patient medical record documents for the past 1 year. The research was conducted at the National Brain Center Hospital. The research was conducted in September 2023. The study population was all stroke patients who came to the Emergency Room of the National Brain Center Hospital. Sampe amounted to 72 respondents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between age p value: 0.020 and gender p value: 0.000 to the incidence of stroke. It is recommended to prevent stroke by maximizing promotional or educational efforts to the public regarding the importance of stroke prevention through controlling hypertension, diabetes mellitus, heart disease and healthy living behaviors early on. These efforts can be done by utilizing social media through interesting content. Optimizing early detection of cardiovascular disease.Keywords: Gender, Age, Stroke

Secara global, stroke menjadi penyebab kematian nomor dua dan penyebab kecacatan nomor tiga. Satu dari empat orang berada dalam bahaya stroke Ada lebih dari 12,2 juta stroke baru setiap tahun. stroke di Indonesia sebesar 10,9%, dan pada provinsi Sulawesi utara sebesar 14,2%. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat didesa Silian Satu dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukasi sampai terbentuknya Gerakan Masyarakat Peduli Stroke (GMPS), yang dilaksanakan selama 3 hari, peserta kegiatan pengabmas difokuskan pada generasi muda dan tokoh masyarakat dengan jumlah peserta 30. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada genertasi muda dan tokoh masyarakat didesa, dengan jumlah peserta 30 peserta. Kegiatan ini menggunakan modul tentang perawatan penderita post stroke dan video tentang latihan Range of Motion (ROM). Hasil pengabmas didapatkan bahwa media edukasi menggunkan audi0 visual dapat meningkatkan pengtahuan dan ketrampilan Masyarakat tentang perawatan penderita post stroke. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh intervensi edukasi menggunakan media video terhadap pengetahuan dan ketrampiulan masyarakat. Kesimpulan Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tingkat pengetahuan dan ketrampilan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi edukasi. Hal ini berarti bahwa metode/model edukasi sangat mempengaruhi pengetahuan Masyarakat dqan ketrampilan masyarakat terhadap perawatan penderita post stroke. Sehingga disarankan edukasi dengan metode video dapat dikembangkan sebagai variasi metode/model edukasi yang baik dan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat.
