Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of principal academic supervision and work environment on teacher performance at SMK Negeri Sekecamatan Kayuagung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample in this study consisted of 50 teachers who were randomly selected at SMK Negeri Sekecamatan Kayuagung. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used multiple linear regression to test the effect of independent variables on teacher performance as the dependent variable. The results showed that the principal's academic supervision had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, as well as the work environment which also had a positive effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, both independent variables had a significant effect on improving teacher performance. This study suggests the need for improvements in academic supervision and improving the quality of the work environment to support improved teacher performance at SMK Negeri Sekecamatan Kayuagung.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze classroom management in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Karya Jaya, Mesuji Makmur District in four classes, namely class V A, class V B, class VI A, class VI B. The subjects of this research were teachers of classes V and VI at SDN 2 Karya Jaya, Mesuji Makmur District. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative type. The data sources used are observation, interviews, documentation, book sources, journals and previous research. The results of class management at SDN 2 Karya Jaya in class V A, class V B, class VI A, class VI B look good. Good classroom management is proven to make students have motivation to learn so that students have learning outcomes above the KKTP. The report card data for students who are already above the KKTP is that in classes V A and VI A there are many students above the KKTP, in classes V B and VI B quite a lot of students are above the KKTP. Obstacles in classroom management in the four classes can be overcome by providing technical guidance for teachers, making classes comfortable for students and using varied learning methods, and reporting any damage to school facilities.

Abstract

The principal is the highest leader in an educational unit who has the task and responsibility to manage the educational unit, therefore this study aims to describe and analyze the Principal's strategy in implementing educational management and the factors that hinder and support the implementation of the Principal's strategy in implementing educational management and the efforts made by the Principal in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of Educational Management at SMA Bina Warga 1 Palembang. The research data were obtained by interviews, observation and document methods which were analyzed using interactive model analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that 1) the Principal's strategy in implementing educational management at SMA Bina Warga 1 Palembang implemented the principles and functions of educational management such as planning, organizing, implementing/driving, and supervising, especially in the governance of students, educators and education personnel, and facilities and infrastructure so that the implementation of education runs in accordance with applicable regulations. 2) inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of the principal's strategy in implementing educational management at SMA Bina Warga 1 Palembang including the principal's ability in educational management and leadership, support and active participation of educators and educational personnel, availability of adequate facilities and sufficient resources to support the learning process, a positive culture that has grown and developed in the school. While inhibiting factors include budget limitations, less than optimal communication and coordination, educators' understanding of new approaches to changing school conditions, and parental support that is not yet complete. 3) efforts made to overcome obstacles to the principal's strategy in implementing educational management at SMA Bina Warga 1 Palembang include optimizing the use of human resources, a persuasive approach to teachers and stakeholders, implementing time management, strengthening collaboration with parents and other stakeholders

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the aspects that are supervised by the head master in an effort to help improve teacher professionalism, approaches to academic supervision, academic supervision techniques, describe the steps of academic supervision, describe the problem faced in supervision. Academics by the principal in an effort to help efforts to help improve teacher professionali at SMPN 26 Palembang in teaching. This study use a qualitative method. Data colletion techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. Date wew analyzed using interview analysis techniques, observation and documentation. The results show that it shows that teacher are already good at teaching but must be even more active in using ICT in information and communication technology in learning to improve their professionalism an professional teacher. Either with professional improvement training or training held by the Ministry of education  or the head of SMPN 26 Palembang. Because a teacher who is said to be a professional is a teacher who meets standar requirements both in term of academics, competence, profession, and performance as a teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership and teacher learning models on the success of the “7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children” movement at SDN 1 Berkat. This movement is an initiative to build students’ character through positive habits such as being proactive, responsible, having a win-win mindset, and synergizing effectively with others. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design to examine the relationships and effects between variables. The population consisted of all 45 teachers and school staff, who were selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that both principal leadership and teacher learning models had a significant influence—individually and simultaneously—on the success of implementing the 7 Habits movement. Principal leadership contributed 48%, while learning models contributed 42%, with a combined influence of 73%. Effective leadership was found to foster a positive school culture, whereas innovative learning models strengthened students’ character formation during the learning process. The findings highlight the importance of synergy between visionary school leadership and contextual learning models in cultivating positive character values among elementary school students in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine efforts to improve teacher performance at State Senior High School 3 Rambang Kuang, Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection tools used interview methods, documentation, observation and literature review. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that efforts to improve teacher performance at State Senior High School 3 Rambang Kuang were carried out by planning a performance improvement program, scheduling several activities to improve teacher performance and evaluating the implementation of the performance improvement program based on performance achievement criteria, namely student learning achievement. There are several obstacles in efforts to improve teacher performance both internally and externally such as financial and infrastructure limitations, teacher competence, and stakeholder involvement. The solution to several obstacles faced is by implementing academic supervision and participating in training activities to improve teacher professionalism.
