Abstract

Manajemen proyek merupakan strategi yang digunakan untuk mencapai efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pelaksanaan proyek. Penggunaan plastik yang tidak sesuai persyaratan dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan dan mencemari lingkungan. Penulis ingin membuat sedotan ramah lingkungan terbuat dari beras. Studi ini membahas konsep manajemen proyek dan langkah-langkah yang terlibat dalam manajemen proyek, seperti pengelolaan cakupan proyek, waktu, biaya, dan pengetahuan proyek. Teks ini memberikan pemahaman tentang manajemen proyek dan masalah lingkungan terkait penggunaan plastik, sambil memperkenalkan sedotan ramah lingkungan sebagai solusi yang inovatif.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and evaluate how the relationships between variables that are contained in this research determine the performance of SLB teachers in Batam City. The SLB teachers were selected as the subject of this research because they hold a great and crucial responsibility in educating and fostering children with special needs. Quantitative approach and purposive sampling were conducted, collecting 84 respondents from 7 out of 8 SLB in Batam City, either who have the status of honorary, contract, or permanent teachers. SmartPLS version 3.2.9 was also used as an analytical tool in this research. The results that have been obtained show that job satisfaction is proven to play an important role as a mediating variable whilst also being significantly influenced by motivation and compensation. Aside from that, employee performance can be significantly influenced by motivation and job satisfaction, but not by compensation. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the high level of motivation of the SLB teachers, because an increase in motivation simultaneously maintains the level of job satisfaction and boosts the productivity of their performance in carrying out all of their responsibilities.

Abstract

This study explores how career development, competence, and compensation influence employee performance, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating factor. According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), there are 2,153 distributor companies in Batam City, employing 259,749 workers. The study sampled employees from these companies, collecting data from 387 respondents via online questionnaires distributed through Google Forms. Out of these, 313 responses were valid and analyzed, while 74 were discarded due to invalidity. The majority of respondents were female (54.63%), with males making up 45.37%. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, using quantitative data analysis techniques. The sampling method involved surveys with 29 questions, and data were processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) application. The study tested 10 hypotheses: seven examining direct relationships (H1-H7) and three examining indirect relationships (H8-H10). The findings reveal that nine out of the ten hypotheses were supported with significant positive results, while one hypothesis specifically H1, which proposed that career development impacts employee performance was not supported.

Abstract

Being the most important part in helping and carrying out company activities is the role of an admin. The QHSES Department training at PT. McDermott Indonesia plays a very important role in creating and increasing the performance and productivity of all employees. During the process of this practical work activity, the author made an update on the database by creating a section to enter data values as well as information on employee content which aims to create work effectiveness and efficiency. The technique used is the observation technique that is measuring the observed object by recording various phenomena that occur. The development of this database helps the admin to be able to input data and information in a more detailed and clear manner and minimizes difficulties in finding employee training information and evidence of employee competence when an incident occurs in the fabrication area.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the suitability of the implementation of the talent acquisition process system procedure at the construction company PT X in Batam with the standards used, namely based on the law and to study directly the company's procedures in carrying out the talent acquisition process system, both from looking for candidates, conducting interviews, training up to the hiring stage. Data collection techniques used interviews with PT X Talent Acquisition staff, observation and documentation. The procedures of the talent acquisition process system that will be observed and analyzed are Sourcing and Lead Generation, Recruiting and Attracting, Interviewing and Assessing, Checking References, Making Final Selections, Hiring and Onboarding. The results obtained after implementation are a hiring system that complies with regular procedures and produces qualified candidates at every stage of the process that is passed, the author can study and assist in each process, such as contacting candidates at each stage of the process, helping prepare candidate documents, helping prepare candidate needs for tests. Making it easier for Talent Acquisition staff in the process of carrying out each procedure of the talent acquisition process system.

Abstract

This research explores administrative and membership constraints, reporting and contribution payment complexities, BPJS benefit claim processes, and technical and service access challenges in the implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Batam construction companies. The qualitative research method involved in-depth interviews with relevant staff. The results show that although there are obstacles such as labor fluctuations, the recording system and Jamsostek Mobile application help to overcome some of these problems. In conclusion, better understanding and efficient management can help ensure sufficient protection for employees. Suggestions include improved management systems, training, consultation with BPJS experts, and improved communication with BPJS to ease administration and claims processes. Thus, more effective implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan can provide better protection for construction company employees.

Abstract

Human resources play a vital role and serve as the key factor in any organization or company. Regardless of the organization's or company's objectives, their implementation and management ultimately depend on human effort. If employee performance does not align with the company's goals, it can result in a decline in overall organizational performance. To address this issue, an analysis of the recruitment and selection system employed by the company is necessary. The methods used to gather data include interviews and observations. The outcome of this practical work is the development of material on effective recruitment and selection processes, followed by an analysis of the recruitment and selection procedures currently implemented by the company.

Abstract

The process of recruitment and selection is an important procedure in an effort to attract qualified candidates who meet the job qualifications of a company. This practical work activity aims to analyze the challenges faced by PT Angkasa Indo Jaya as a manpower supply company, when they are getting large projects from their clients. The result of the observation found that PT Angkasa Indo Jaya tends to still have applicants who do not meet the job qualification requirements. In an effort to attract extra manpower capable of contributing to several departments of the company, the outputs of the activity that have been designed include a recruitment and selection strategy flowchart, job description, and candidate evaluation form. The implementation of the activity’s outcomes on PT Angkasa Indo Jaya has succeeded in facilitating the work of the Human Resources (HR) department in the process of recruiting and selecting prospective employees who have met the qualification requirements.

Abstract

Evaluasi kinerja yang efektif diperlukan untuk mengukur sejauh mana karyawan telah memenuhi ekspektasi kerja, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan, serta merancang pengembangan karir yang sesuai. Target dari kegiatan evaluasi kinerja karyawan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) pada CV Bangun Citra Kaji adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, produktivitas, dan kualitas kerja karyawan, serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan jangka panjang perusahaan. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah modul evaluasi kinerja karyawan, modul pengembangan SDM, dan rincian tahapan perencanaan karier dan pengembangan karyawan pada CV Bangun Citra Kaji.

Abstract

Artha Jaya Motor Workshop in Sagulung, Batam, faces challenges in workforce recruitment and human resource management. Traditional recruitment processes are considered inefficient, while the lack of a clear organizational structure impacts the workshop’s operations. To address these issues, a practical work project was carried out focusing on modern recruitment strategies using social media and digital platforms such as Google Form. The goal of this project is to improve recruitment effectiveness, establish an efficient organizational structure, and reduce employee turnover by creating clear work contracts. The outcomes of this activity are expected to support the growth of Artha Jaya Motor Workshop and positively contribute to the local economy.
