Abstract

Graduation is one of the assessment items in the accreditation process of a tertiary institution. So that if students graduate on time, it will help assess the accreditation of a tertiary institution. The method used is K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). This method is used to classify objects based on learning data closest to the object. This research aims to predict the graduation of Jambi Muhammadiyah University students, whether it is worth graduating on time or not graduating on time. In research using K-NN to predict student graduation, the results were that the K-NN approach in this study produced an accuracy value of 93.33%. The result is testing with a value of K = 5 using 50 training data for Jambi Muhammadiyah University students who have graduated in 2022; then data testing is tested with training data that has been tested before, 4 students who graduated not on time and who graduated on time were 46 students.

Abstract

Currently, there are still quite a number of organizations who consider that remuneration is a cost component that needs to be minimized and a means that can increase unproductive behavior, which can lead to personal problems. To be able to prevent the emergence of problems and the increase in remuneration expenditure of an organization, it is necessary to have a remuneration system that is fair, appropriate, and cost effective. In the process of calculating the Additional Employee Income (TPP) carried out by SMK PP Negeri Jambi, Batanghari Regency, it is still manually with calculations based on absenteeism, performance, and employee discipline, after all data is obtained then input into Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this study is to simplify calculations, minimize time in the process of inputting and calculating, the process of delivering TPP information quickly and accurately. Where the modeling of this system uses a flow diagram of Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and this system design uses web / internet media and produces a web-based information system for additional employee income payments (TPP) at SMP Negeri Jambi Regency. Abstract

Management of personnel administration data in an organization or agency/institution plays an important role in the administrative process. In this case the current personnel information system has a weakness, namely it is only used to record employee attendance and only involves one user and only uses one computer. With this desktop-based staffing system, it can help the process of managing personnel data at LPP RI Jambi so that it becomes more effective and efficient. The design of a desktop-based personnel administration system can make it easier for admins to input data, reduce time, and minimize the possibility of errors in recording. As well as designing a personnel information system at LPP RI Jambi using a desktop-based modeling technique made with the Delphi 7 programming language and mysql database. In describing system analysis and design, namely in the form of DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). The output of this study is the design of the analysis system and the design of a staffing information system at LPP RI Jambi.

Abstract

Attendance is an activity carried out by a person to declare that he or she is present at a job or activity. SMKN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur has an attendance process that is still done manually. This kind of absence has the weakness, namely that it allows damage to attendance papers and requires a long time in recapitulating and searching for data, and there is fraud from students who fill in attendance not at the designated internship location because they are not monitored directly. Based on this problem, researchers are interested in building a coordinate attendance system application using GPS that can solve this problem. With this attendance, it is also easier, faster and more effective for students to fill in the attendance list without cheating. This attendance uses GPS Lock and the Havershine formula algorithm to determine the location with high accuracy and calculates a maximum distance of 20 meters from the specified coordinate point. The results and benefits of the attendance application using coordinates for internship students at SMKN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur are that it facilitates the attendance process between students and teachers, reduces fraud that occurs, and avoids damage to attendance data so that it can produce more accurate reports.

Abstract

PT Digital Network Antanusa (DNA.Net) Jambi City is an internet service provider network service company in the city of Jambi. DNA.Net operates using cable and wireless network technology (wireless). DNA.Net is not a cellular or satellite service, but something new, much better and much faster to connect to the internet and provide to homes or companies. However, there are still problems with processing, paying and checking internet bills, therefore errors and files are often lost when processing payment transaction data. These include frequent errors in internet registration data information and lost documents, delays in transactions or transactions taking too long, and even making payment reports is still not neat. This method used is the UML (Unified Modeling Language) method which describes the system model including use cases, use case specifications, activities and class diagrams and the designs used by researchers are prototypes. Therefore, the researcher aims to analyze and design an internet service provider payment transaction information system so that a computerized payment system is more flexible and efficient so that problems at PT Digital Network Antanusa can be resolved so that the obstacles currently faced can be resolved and run very well. . The final result of the analysis and design produces a maturity system. This is done to make the system more effective and efficient and of course to make the bill payment process easier

Abstract

This study analyzes the governance performance of information systems at the Career Center of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi using the COBIT 2019 framework. The primary objective is to evaluate the maturity level of IT governance and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems in supporting the institution’s strategic objectives. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving system users and decision-makers within the Career Center. The findings indicate that several areas require greater attention, particularly Managed IT Changes, Managed Risk, and Managed Operations. These domains are considered critical in improving the management and reliability of the existing information systems. The study also identifies several challenges affecting system performance, including limited system integration, insufficient human resources, and the use of outdated technology. Based on these findings, the research recommends strengthening the organizational structure, improving the competence of human resources, and optimizing IT processes in accordance with COBIT 2019 standards. Implementing these improvements is expected to increase IT governance maturity, enhance service quality for students and alumni, and better support the university’s strategic development goals.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi, involving students from the Information Systems study program as the primary participants. The main problems identified among participants included a limited understanding of the structure of scientific articles, inadequate paraphrasing skills, and a lack of competence in using reference management applications. In addition, the utilization of digital technology to support scientific writing was not yet optimal, despite the availability of adequate technological facilities. This activity aimed to improve students’ competencies in writing scientific articles in accordance with journal standards and to enhance their ability to utilize digital technology as a supporting tool for writing and publication. The method applied was a training-based approach combined with intensive mentoring. The training materials covered the structure of scientific articles, proper academic writing techniques, paraphrasing strategies to avoid plagiarism, the use of reference management tools, and the application of digital technology in scientific writing. The contribution of this activity lies in strengthening students’ practical academic skills while fostering a productive and technology-oriented academic culture. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding and skills. The average score increased from 54.25 in the pre-test to 79.63 in the post-test, representing a 46.78 percent improvement. Furthermore, most participants were able to independently produce draft scientific articles with a more systematic structure and effectively use reference management tools. The activity also contributed to increased motivation among students to write and publish scientific work.

Abstract

PT. Batanghari Baik Net adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang layanan telekomunikasi dan jaringan internet yang berada di Kota Jambi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh PT. Batanghari Baik Net adalah proses penentuan pemilihan karyawan terbaik yang kurang objektif, dan pengambilan keputusan yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama serta tidak akuratnya dalam melakukan pemilihan karyawan terbaik. Sehingga terkadang pemilihan karyawan terbaik yang tidak tepat akan menyebabkan karyawan yang terpilih tidak sesuai dengan standar atapun kriteria yang telah ditentukan perusahaan, sementara itu karyawan yang memiliki kinerja lebih bagus terkadang tidak terpilih menjadi karyawan terbaik. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka dibuatlah sistem pendukung keputusan yang akan membantu dalam pemilihan karyawan terbaik yang memenuhi kriteria dan sub kriteria. Sistem ini akan menggunakan metode metode Profile Matching, dan dengan model pengembangan sistem Waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem ini maka, diharapkan dapat membantu PT. Batanghari Baik Net dalam melakukan pemilihan karyawan terbaik dengan akurat. Selain itu, dengan aplikasi ini juga dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mengevaluasi kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Skripsi merupakan sebuah persyaratan bagi mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan gelar sarjana dan diploma disetiap Perguruan Tinggi, baik negeri maupun swasta. Beberapa proses skripsi antara lain pengajuan proposal skripsi, seminar proposal, bimbingan skripsi dan sidang skripsi. Banyaknya jumlah mahasiswa dan tersedianya dosen serta ruangan yang sedikit menyebabkan muncul kesulitan menemukan jadwal yang tidak bertabrakan sehingga proses penjadwalan akan memakan waktu lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem penjadwalan sidang skripsi pada Program Studi Informatika Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi berbasis web Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall dan permodelan diagram UML. Pada perancangan sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Pre-Processor) dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan algoritma genetika dalam penjadwalan sidang skripsi ke dalam suatu sistem yang dirancang sehingga dapat memberikan rekomendasi kepada Ketua Program Studi dalam menjadwalkan sidang skripsi secara efektif berdasarkan parameter yang relevan seperti mahasiswa, tersedianya dosen, dan ruang.

Abstract

Komputer adalah produk teknologi modern yang membantu manusia untuk melakukan pekerjaan lebih mudah dan lebih cepat, setiap alat dan komponen yang ada di komputer mempunyai tingkat kepentingan tersendiri, serta dapat mengalami kegagalan dalam menjalankan fungsinya. Saat ini di Eleven Komputer pada divisi servis permasalahan yang terjadi ketika pelanggan datang ketoko yang dilakukan pertama kali oleh pihak Eleven Komputer adalah kasir mengecek kondisi komputer dengan cara menelpon teknisi kendala apa yang terjadi pada komputer tersebut, yang mengakibatkan jadi lamanya proses diagnosa kerusakan komputer. Oleh karena itu sistem pakar ini dibuat untuk membantu kasir dalam melakukan diagnosa awal terhadap suatu kerusakan hardware komputer yang dialami beserta solusi nya . Proses pembangunan sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode pengetahuan dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dan observasi . Sedangkan metode inferensi yang digunakan dalam pembangunan sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode forward chaining. Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pembangunan sistem pakar ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Pre-Processor) dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan algoritma forward chaining dalam menentukan kerusakan komputer dengan cepat.
