Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a technology-based pest detection and repellent device using the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. This tool is designed to overcome the problem of the presence of insect pests and rats on the KWT Gemas Imlan agricultural land. The developed system integrates various sensors and modules to achieve optimal performance. The PIR sensor is used to detect the movement of pests around agricultural areas, while the LDR sensor functions to measure light intensity as one of the parameters of equipment operating conditions. As an expulsion measure, this device is equipped with an NE555 module which emits high frequency sound waves to repel or force pests to leave the agricultural area. Testing is carried out in stages, starting from individual testing of each sensor to testing the entire system. The research results show that this tool can operate automatically with a fast and accurate response, so it has the potential to be an effective solution for controlling pests on agricultural land.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven various industrial sectors, including manufacturing, to transform toward more efficient and responsive distribution systems. PT. Esa Mandiri Rubber, a rubber manufacturing company, still relies on manual processes in managing goods delivery, resulting in various issues such as delays, distribution errors, and a lack of transparency in tracking. This study aims to design a web-based goods delivery information system integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology and API services. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which consists of five stages: requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The developed system includes delivery recording, real-time tracking, IoT device data integration, and access to information through a web interface. The results of the study show that the designed system successfully replaces the previously used manual processes, enhances distribution effectiveness, and facilitates easier monitoring and reporting. Thus, this system is capable of improving operational efficiency and the quality of logistics services at PT. Esa Mandiri Rubber.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), such as the Sukamurni Cracker Factory, often rely on manual financial recording, a practice prone to human error, data loss, and significant inefficiencies in generating financial reports. This research addresses these challenges by developing a web-based financial management information system tailored to the operational needs of MSMEs. The primary objective was to design and implement a system that improves the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of financial record-keeping. The study employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing requirements planning, user design, rapid construction, and system validation. The resulting system was built using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and a MySQL database. Functional validation was conducted through Black Box testing, which confirmed that all system modules—including income and expense tracking, automated report generation, and role-based access control for Admins and Staff—operate as specified. The novelty of this work lies in its practical application of the RAD model to create a user-centric and rapidly deployable solution for a resource-constrained MSME environment. This research provides a functional model for digital transformation in small-scale businesses, demonstrating that a well-designed system can significantly enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kondisi mitra saat ini masih menggunakan cara tradisional dibandingkan teknologi dalam memasarkan produk UMKM. Pengabdian ini memberikan pelatihan secara softskil dalam memanfaatkan platform WordPress berbasis AI untuk mendukung UMKM di desa Palasari; Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan ceramah, demonstrasi/praktik, dan diskusi; Mitra dalam kegiatan ini diikuti 10 warga Desa Palasari Banten sebagai peserta yang merupakan pelaku UMKM; Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berhasil meningkat pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta dalam menggunakan platform wordpress berbasis AI, dimana sebelum pelatihan peserta memiliki pemahaman 34% melalui pre-test yang telah dibuatkan oleh Tim, setelah mengikuti pelatihan peserta memiliki pemahaman 93%, melalui post-test, artinya peningkatan pemahaman pada peserta yang mampu menggunakan platform wordpress berbasis AI dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan UMKM dimedia digital.Abstract: The current condition of partners still uses traditional methods compared to technology in marketing MSME products. This service provides soft skills training in utilising the AI-based WordPress platform to support MSMEs in Palasari village; The method of implementation uses lectures, demonstrations / practices, and discussions; Partners in this activity were attended by 10 residents of Palasari Banten Village as participants who are MSME actors; The implementation of this activity succeeded in increasing the understanding and knowledge of participants in using the AI-based wordpress platform, where before training participants had an understanding of 34% through a pre-test that had been made by the Team, after attending the training participants had an understanding of 93%, through a post-test, meaning an increase in understanding in participants who were able to use the AI-based wordpress platform in utilising technology to improve MSMEs in digital media.
