Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest archipelagic countries in the world which has a wealth of territorial waters, namely fish producers. The fish is processed into dried fish by drying and salting. For the sustainability of the dried fish business in Bengkulu Province, it is necessary to carry out a business development strategy for dried fish MSMEs. The aim of the study was to examine the internal and external factors of the dried fish business and determine the priority strategy for the development of the dried fish business in Bengkulu Province. This research was conducted in Bengkulu Province in Sumber Jaya Village (Bengkulu City) and Koto Jaya Village (Mukomuko)by survaiyingand interviewing 13 dried fish producers ang 9 key informen. Data are analysed bu applyingSWOT and QSPM matrix. Utilizing maximum raw materials to meet customer demand and Utilizing technological developments are two grand srategies to develop dried fish industrieis in Bengkulu Province.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Untuk Mengetahui Lingkungan Eksternal dan Internal Pada Usaha Pisang Jantan Cookies di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong dan Untuk Mengetahui Alternatif Strategi Yang Tepat Dalam Pengembangan Usaha Pisang Jantan Cookies Di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada usaha Pisang Jantan Cookies yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Metode analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Faktor internal dalam Pisang Jantan Cookies di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong yang menjadi kekuatan utama adalah Lokasi pembelian yang strategis, pisang jantan cookies memiliki rasa yang unik dan enak, harga yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan kualitas produk. Faktor kelemahan dari usaha ini adalah produksi yang masih rendah, kesulitan menemukan produk ini di pasaran, dan belum adanya pelayanan delivery. Faktor eksternal dalam Pisang Jantan Cookies di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong yang menjadi peluang adalah pemasaran produk ke luar daerah, promosi melalui sosial media, e commerce,dan memiliki reputasi yang baik. Sedangkan untuk faktor ancaman pemasaran produk belum berhasil menarik perhatian, Pisang Jantan Cookies kurang dikenal oleh masyarakat,dan harga produk pesaing lebih terjangkau dibandingkan Pisang Jantan Cookies.

Abstract

This research was conducted in December 2024 to January 2025. This study aims to: 1) the condition of internal and external factors of rice farming in Rejang Lebong Regency 2) Determine alternative strategies for developing rice farming in Rejang Lebong Regency. . The method used in this study is IFE, EFE, and SWOT Matrix Analysis. Respondents selected for the provision of weights and ratings for the IFE and EFE matrices are parties who are competent in research and experts in their fields. The population of this study were stakeholders involved in the agricultural sector of the Rejang Lebong Regency Food Security Service, Lecturers at Pat Petulai University and the Rejang Lebong Regency Agriculture and Fisheries Service. The sampling method was carried out intentionally (Purposive Sampling) with a total of 5 people in each District. In the analysis of internal factors, the IFE matrix analysis showed that the total score obtained was 3.03 while the score results from the internal factors obtained a score of 3.10. The difference between internal factors between strengths and weaknesses obtained a difference of 1.03 and an external factor difference of 0.60, so the SWOT quadrant of the position of rice farming in Rejang Lebong Regency is in an Aggressive strategy condition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Mei hingga Juni 2025 di Desa Sumber Bening, Kecamatan Selupu Rejang, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, yang merupakan sentra penghasil kubis tertinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui rantai pasok dan tingkat efisiensi pemasaran kubis di Desa Sumber Bening Kecamatan Selupu Rejang Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Penentuan responden produsen kubis menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dengan kriteria petani yang memproduksi kubis selama periode penelitian dan responden lembaga pemasaran kubis menggunakan metode Snowball Sampling berdasarkan rekomendasi responden sebelumnya. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rantai pasok kubis terbagi menjadi empat pola: (1) Produsen – Konsumen, (2) Produsen – Pengepul – Konsumen, (3) Produsen – Pengecer – Konsumen, dan (4) Produsen – Pengepul – Pengecer – Konsumen. Aliran produk bergerak dari hulu ke hilir, didukung oleh aliran informasi dua arah melalui komunikasi langsung, telepon dan WhatsApp mengenai ketersediaan, kualitas, status pengiriman, dan harga. Aliran keuangan berupa pembayaran tunai dan non-tunai bergerak berlawanan arah dengan aliran produk. Seluruh rantai pasok kubis dinyatakan efisien karena nilai efisiensi < 50%. Urutan pola rantai pasok yang paling efisien adalah Pola I sebesar 0,93%, diikuti Pola II 4,77%, Pola III 6,01% , dan Pola IV 9,02%.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the world's agricultural commodities that has been cultivated in more than 50 countries. Coffee is a drink made from brewed coffee beans that have been roasted and ground into powder. There are two varieties of coffee trees that are generally known, namely Robusta Coffee (Coffea canephora) and Arabica Coffee (Coffea arabica). Coffee is a very famous commodity in Indonesia. In addition to having entered Indonesia since the Dutch colonial era, coffee is also famous for its taste and aroma. Coffee is a superior potential in several regions in Indonesia, one of which is in Village IV Suku Menanti, Sidang Dataran District, Rejang Lebong. However, the utilization of coffee agricultural products as a superior village commodity has not been optimally implemented. People only sell coffee beans through certain marketing channels. In fact, coffee can also be processed into a product, one of which is coffee aromatherapy candles. Candles are a source of light consisting of a wick covered with solid fuel that is flammable. Before the 19th century, the fuel used was usually beef fat (which contains a lot of stearic acid). Aromatherapy is a method of treatment using volatile plant aromas. Natural aromatherapy candles are certainly better than synthetic fragrances because they can interfere with the health of those who inhale them. Coffee aromatherapy candles are aromatherapy candles with natural fragrance ingredients, namely coffee. By utilizing agricultural products, farmers can empower existing resources as an effort to increase body immunity through coffee aromatherapy candles and can improve the economy of the IV Suku Menanti Village community.
