Abstract

Berbagai tindakan korupsi di Indonesia dan negara-negara lain bermunculan pada setiap aspek kehidupan, bahayanya dapat menular kepada generasi muda.  Oleh karena itu, pendidikan anti-korupsi perlu diperkenalkan kepada generasi muda pada abad ke-21 dimulai dari Pendidikan Dasar sampai Pendidikan Tinggi.  Salah satu implementasi pendidikan antikorupsi di sekolah adalah diintegrasikan melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn).  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi pendidikan antikorupsi pada mata pelajaran PPKn siswa terkait dengan nilai kejujuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional survai pada siswa sekolah menengah di Kota Cimahi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman siswa baik terhadap nilai kejujuran. Studi lebih lanjut tentang pendidikan anti-korupsi dalam tema yang lebih luas disarankan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The word corruption is covered almost every day by the mass media and has become a topic of discussion in various circles of society. Corruption is an extraordinary crime because it can affect the community, and in the long run, it is more dangerous for the younger generation's behavior. If conditions like that are allowed, the country's future will be very bleak. Therefore, it is necessary to instill anti-corruption values through education to internalize anti-corruption values in various ways, one of which is through the application of an honesty canteen. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the honesty canteen in increasing students' understanding of anti-corruption values at SMPN 2 Cipunagara. The method used is quantitative with descriptive verification method. The population is 391 students with a sample of 78 students. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive verification method.Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis relies on statistical tests of questionnaire results which are supported by interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results showed that the honesty canteen development model had a significant effect on the culture of anti-corruption values. This is evidenced by finding a correlation coefficient (r) of 0895 which means that the degree of relationship between variable X, namely honesty canteen, is very close and even perfectly related to variable Y, namely understanding anti-corruption values. The magnitude of the significance in the regression analysis is 0.174 0.05. The t value is 17.463 t table 00003289 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, that is, there is an effect of X on Y. And the R-square value of 0.800 in the analysis of the coefficient of determination, which means the effect of X on Y is seen as 80 ,0%. This shows that the existence of honesty canteen activities in schools has a very positive impact on students' understanding of anti-corruption values.Kata korupsi hampir setiap hari diliput oleh media massa dan menjadi perbincangan di beragai kalangan masyarakat. Korupsi merupakan kejahatan yang tidak biasa (ekstra ordinary crime) karena dapat menimpa masyarakat dan  dalam jangka panjang lebih membahayakan perilaku generasi muda. Jika kondisi seperti itu dibiarkan masa depan suatu negara akan sangat suram. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi melalui pendidikan untuk menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai antikorupsi dengan berbagai cara salah satunya melalui penerapan kantin kejujuran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kantin kejujuran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai antikorupsi di SMPN 2 Cipunagara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif. Populasi adalah 391 siswa dengan sampel 78 siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen.  Analisa data bertumpu kepada uji statistika hasil kuesioner yang didukung hasil wawancara, observasi, dan analisa dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model pengembangan kantin kejujuran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap budaya nilai-nilai anti korupsi. Hal ini diuktikan dengan ditemukannya koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0895 yang berarti bahwa derajat hubungan antara variael X yaitu kantin kejujuran sangat erat bahkan berhubungan  sempurna dengan variael Y yaitu pemahaman anti- nilai korupsi. Besarnya signifikansi dalam analisis regresi adalah  0,174 0,05  dan nilai t hitung 17.463 t tabel 00003289 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh X terhadap Y. Dan nilai Rsquare sebesar 0.800 pada analisis koefisien determinasi yang berarti pengaruh X terhadap Y seesar 80,0%. Hal ini menunjukkanb bahwa adanya kegiatan kantin kejujuran di sekolah berdampak sangat  positif terhadap  pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai antikorupsi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of social studies learning on the socialization of potential earthquake disasters in the Bandung City Region and its mitigation in Junior High School (SMP) students in Bandung City. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, while the method used is descriptive analysis with a survey type with a sample of 194 people determined by proportional random sampling from 3931 students who are in areas prone to earthquakes in the city of Bandung, contained in 14 public junior high schools. The instruments used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the effectiveness of social studies learning on the socialization of potential earthquake disasters in the city of Bandung along with its mitigation to the students of public junior high schools in the city of Bandung showed a positive and significant correlation, which had a relationship level of 67.8% with a correlation coefficient value of  0.824 which is included in the category of very strong relationship. The social studies curriculum for junior high schools made a fairly high contribution to disaster education and disaster mitigation, which was 47.4% in the social studies curriculum for junior high schools based on Permendiknas no. 22 of 2006, and 69.2% of the social studies curriculum for junior high schools based on Permendikbud No. 24  of 2016.

Abstract

This study was based on the development of the times which increasingly shows attention to character education – the responsibility of students who are starting to worry about education staff and parents. Civics subjects that focus on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations. However, in the current state of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak, it demanded to implement social restrictions and organize an activity from home through government circular number 15 of 2020. The obstacles faced in the implementation of online learning, among others, related to the readiness of human resources, limitations in facilities and infrastructure, as well as limitations in communication. This study determined the efforts to develop the character of responsibility from both teachers and students during online learning at a vocational high school in Cimahi City. This study used a qualitative approach, where the data were involving the results of interviews with teachers, curriculum representatives, and students. The results of the study, strengthening the character of responsibility can be seen from the objective conditions of online learning, lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, and school support programs, and PPKn teachers. To improve the quality of online learning, schools provide learning services according to needs during a pandemic, policy socialization is needed by teachers. curriculum representatives, as well as students. Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic can be done remotely, so teachers are required to be able to use information and communication technology-based learning, one of which is by using gadgets. Students can study anytime and anywhere. The problem in this research is how to use gadgets as learning media to improve student achievement. Qualitative research approach with case study method at SDN Budikarya. The study results: using gadgets as media and assessing learning outcomes has been going well. Student learning achievement has increased. The supporting factor for the success of distance learning is the independent ownership of the device from the students, while the inhibiting factor is the time that students spend playing is far greater than the time for studying. This device should be balanced with the use of the school LMS to integrate all data. Teachers and parents should check students' devices regularly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the pattern of inculcation of religious character values in Social Studies (IPS) learning at Islamic Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Cipeundeuy, West Bandung Regency. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, and the research subjects included social studies teachers, students, the assistant headmaster, and the headmaster. Interviews, observation, and documentation were used as tools. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicated that: 1) Social studies teachers had planned social studies learning that integrates religious character values at the beginning of the school year or the beginning of the semester, including the preparation of annual programs, semester programs, syllabi, and lesson plans; 2) Implementing inculcating religious character values in the learning process included preliminary, core, and closing activities. The values of a religious character were piety to the almighty God, gratitude, respect, and tolerance for other religions, living in harmony with followers of other religions, and protecting the surrounding environment; 3) The efforts made by the teacher were to carry out the habituation of behavior according to religious character values continuously, providing exemplary good / commendable behavior through various activities; 4) The cultivation of religious character values in the social studies learning process was implemented following the lesson plans prepared by the social studies teacher. Students showed good attitudes/commendable inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the importance of component utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning. This study was acknowledged by the results of a survey to the secondary school education teachers in the Subject Teachers' Association (MGMP) for Citizenship Education field in Cimahi as many as 42 schools and 146 teachers through the Google Form application and 104 teachers responded according to the Krejcie and Morgan tables. The method used in this research was descriptive survey. Based on the survey results, the main findings in this survey were not very encouraging, because most teachers in the learning process were not always even inclined. They sometimes never used technological media, social networks, use current issues, and assigned learning material widely and in depth. Further research on teachers must be able to master technological assiatance in to make the Citizenship Education was more crucial and urgent for students. On the other hand, students must be able to utilize social media in the daily lives. The school should also provide internet access for the continuation of the learning process. Thus, the government must be able to provide internet access for schools in remote areas, so that technology-based learning is no longer a barrier for teachers and students

Abstract

Pancasila as the basis and ideology of the state cannot be separated from community programs, because the values in it are the original characteristics of the Indonesian. These values teach how to think and act in overcoming various problems in the life of the nation and state. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has caused a crisis for the Indonesian, especially for the economic sector. This study aimed to find out the embodiment of Pancasila values that grew and developed in people's lives in Cimahi City during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach used was qualitative approach. There were 115 respondents who were interviewed in three sub-districts and sub-districts, namely 30 respondents in Cibeureum Subdistrict (South Cimahi Subdistrict), 20 respondents in Cimahi Subdistrict, and 20 respondents in Setiamanah Subdistrict (Cimahi Tengah Subdistrict), 25 respondents in Citereup Subdistrict, and 20 respondents in Cipageran Subdistrict (North Cimahi District). The results of the study show that the values of Pancasila as the basis and ideology of the Indonesian state, are the values that could strengthen community resilience in overcoming crises. The strength of these values was shown by their belief in God the Almighty and obedience to worship both horizontally and vertically, the belief that humans are born and created with the same dignity, respected each other without discrimination, promoting unity, togetherness and mutual cooperation, prioritizing deliberation based on the spirit of kinship in overcoming problems, being fair by maintaining an equality between obligations and rights. The people in Cimahi City were able to implement values in Pancasila as a way of thinking and acting to overcome the crisis of social life, as faced in the current pandemic situation.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology, require all humans in the world to adapt to the situation. Likewise in the field of education in schools. Almost all students in Indonesia use mobile phones as their social media, including students at SMP Negeri 1 Jatinangor Sumedang. Based on observations of students in Civics lessons, it appears that the attitudes of students lack social intelligence, such as lacking problem solving skills, communicating, expressing opinions, and listening to other people's opinions. This study aims to determine how the application of the Community Science Technology Model in growing the social intelligence of students in class VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Jatinangor Sumedang. The research approach used is qualitative with Classroom Action Research methods. The results showed that there was a growth in the social intelligence of students from cycles I, II, and III. The problem solving skills of students grew from 14 people (cycle I), to 22 people (cycle II), and 24 people (cycle III). The ability to communicate grew from 11 people (cycle I) to 18 people (cycle II), and became 20 people in cycle III. Likewise, students' ability to listen to others grew from 14 people (cycle I) to 19 people (cycle II), and became 20 people in cycle III.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi COVID-19 membawa dampak besar terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk di Kampung Adat Kuta yang terletak di Desa Karangpaningal, Kecamatan Tambaksari, Kabupaten Ciamis. Artikel ini mengkaji upaya masyarakat Kampung Kuta dalam menghadapi tantangan era new normal pasca-pandemi COVID-19, dengan fokus pada perubahan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya. Sebelum pandemi, masyarakat Kampung Kuta mengandalkan sektor pertanian dan kerajinan tangan sebagai mata pencaharian utama. Namun, pembatasan sosial dan penutupan pasar tradisional mengakibatkan penurunan pendapatan yang signifikan. Di sisi lain, kegiatan budaya dan sosial yang menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan mereka, seperti tradisi gotong royong dan upacara adat, terhenti akibat pembatasan interaksi sosial. Setelah pandemi, masyarakat Kampung Kuta mulai beradaptasi dengan new normal dengan menghidupkan kembali tradisi mereka melalui penggunaan teknologi, seperti platform digital untuk menggantikan kegiatan tatap muka. Adaptasi ini menunjukkan bagaimana masyarakat Kampung Kuta mampu mempertahankan identitas budaya mereka sambil beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan perubahan yang ditimbulkan oleh pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara untuk menggali dinamika perubahan dalam kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada tantangan, masyarakat Kampung Kuta tetap menunjukkan ketahanan sosial dan budaya dalam menghadapi perubahan yang ada, menciptakan keseimbangan antara tradisi dan inovasi dalam menjalani kehidupan pasca-pandemi.Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on various aspects of community life, including in Kampung Adat Kuta, located in Karangpaningal Village, Tambaksari District, Ciamis Regency. This article examines the efforts made by the people of Kampung Kuta to face the challenges of the post-pandemic new normal era, focusing on social, economic, and cultural changes. Before the pandemic, the people of Kampung Kuta relied on agriculture and handicrafts as their main sources of livelihood. However, social restrictions and the closure of traditional markets led to a significant decrease in income. On the other hand, cultural and social activities, which were an essential part of their life, such as mutual cooperation traditions and ceremonial rites, were halted due to restrictions on social interactions. After the pandemic, the people of Kampung Kuta began to adapt to the new normal by reviving their traditions through the use of technology, such as digital platforms to replace face-to-face activities. This adaptation demonstrates how the people of Kampung Kuta managed to maintain their cultural identity while adapting to the changing times and the transformations brought about by the pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observations and interviews to explore the dynamics of change in the social, economic, and cultural life of the community. The findings show that, despite the challenges, the people of Kampung Kuta have demonstrated social and cultural resilience in facing the changes, creating a balance between tradition and innovation in navigating the post-pandemic life.
