Abstract

At SD Negeri Cibitung Kulon 01 Pagi the teacher still plays a role as a learning center so that students are less actively involved during learning. This condition makes mathematics learning less attractive in the eyes of students and as a result students are less enthusiastic during the learning process, so that the purpose of holding community service activities is to increase the understanding and ability of teachers of SDN Cibitung Kulon 01 Pagi about fun mathematics learning, while the method used is education in community in the form of socialization activities to increase participants' knowledge / understanding of how to create fun mathematics learning in class. with puzzle tetris math games. The results of the evaluation on the implementation of this PKM were obtained from the number of participants who attended as many as 15 people, 8 teachers understood the material very well or were in the high category, while 5 teachers understood maeri well and only 2 teachers did not understand the material that had been explained. The results of this evaluation are a benchmark that the PKM goals are achieved. The evaluation that has been given to the teacher is in the form of an essay question as many as 25 questions related to the material that has been delivered. The conclusion that can be obtained from the implementation of this community service program is: this socialization activity can increase teachers' knowledge about how to create fun mathematics learning in the classroom. Furthermore, the implementation of this community service activity program has been running smoothly and as expected, both by members of the extension team and community service program participants.Abstract written in English which contains a brief description of the background and objectives, methods of implementation, results and discussion, conclusions and recommendation for follow-up.

Abstract

Elementary school teachers still do not fully utilize effective learning models, especially in teaching algebraic concepts. Lack of understanding of algebraic concepts has caused students to have difficulty mastering algebra, including calculation, representation, and mathematical modeling, as well as recognizing algebraic symbols and variables. The purpose of this study is to answer the research question (RQ) How does the Generative Multi Representation Learning Model Modified Schema Based Instruction (MGMRM-SBI) affect the algebraic thinking skills of elementary school students? In this study, the experimental method was used with a posttest-only control group design, where the sample was selected using Cluster Random Sampling with a total sample of 128 students. The research instrument used was an algebraic thinking ability test in the form of description test questions, and data analysis was carried out using a t-test with the help of SPSS statistical software. The results of the t-test showed a significant difference between the algebraic thinking skills of students in the experimental and control classes, with significance values (2 sides) = 0.000 < sig. = 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Generative Multi Representation Learning model Modified Schema Based Instruction has a significant effect on the algebraic thinking ability of elementary school students, and is more effective than the expository model.

Abstract

The research analyzes the potential of brain-based learning based on critical thinking on memory and memory. The purpose of this study is to produce a framework of brain-based learning methods, which integrate critical thinking in the learning process to students' memory and memory abilities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to collect and analyze data. Through literature review, relevant studies are obtained to produce a framework that can be implemented in learning. The findings suggest that brain-based learning, which centers on critical thinking activities, positively affects both memory retention and students' recall abilities. This research emphasizes the importance of incorporating critical thinking strategies into educational practices to improve learning outcomes. In conclusion, this study highlights the significant impact of brain-based learning on memory and recall.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the Multiply Cards game as a medium for learning mathematics in additional material in elementary schools that is interesting, metacognitive, and connection-based. This type of research is research and development (R&D) according to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were class students at SDN Mekarsari 5, Kec II.Cimanggis, Depok City. The research tools consisted of material expert validation instruments, media expert validation instruments, teacher validation instruments, and student and teacher response questionnaires. Based on the evaluation of the validity test, the validation results of the material experts were considered "very feasible" with a total of 85% and the results of the media expert validation were 89%, while the teacher's validation was obtained with a total of 81%. So it can be concluded that the development of the Multiply Cards game as a medium for increasing learning in elementary schools is categorized as "very likely". This means that the media developed by the researcher can be used as a learning medium for arithmetic operations in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges and strategies in creating inclusive classrooms that are friendly to students with emotional disorders and diverse gender identities in elementary schools. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study involved 35 teachers in an inclusive primary school in East Jakarta, with data collected through a questionnaire that included aspects of challenges, positive influences of multicultural education, and inclusive strategies. The results of the study show that teachers face several key challenges, such as limited resources, understanding, and communication. However, multicultural education has been shown to improve students' empathy, tolerance, and social skills. Effective inclusive strategies include curriculum adaptation, teacher training, and collaboration with parents. Teachers also reported the positive impact of inclusive education on student attitudes and learning outcomes, including increased self-confidence, social responsibility, and collaboration skills. These results underscore the importance of adequate resource support and training programs for teachers to strengthen the effectiveness of inclusive education in primary schools. In addition, anti-stigma and diversity education programs can help reduce discrimination and increase student and public understanding of the importance of inclusion. Closer collaboration between schools and parents is also needed to create ongoing support for students with special needs.
