Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Kevalidan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual, (2) Kepraktisan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan (3) Keefektifan bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah buku guru dan LKS (Lembar Kegiatan Siswa). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 5 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel, yaitu model 4D yang telah dimodifikasi. Proses pengembangan tersebut terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahan ajar matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangkan layak digunakan. Kepraktisan dilihat dari hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan bahan ajar matematika, respon siswa terhadap bahan ajar matematika berada di atas 80%. Keefektifan dilihat dari uji coba lapangan dengan nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar sudah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yaitu ketuntasan belajar klasikal ≥ 85%, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dalam kategori baik dan aktivitas siswa berada pada kriteria batasan keefektifan pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the internet and its obstacles as a medium of learning communication in the implementation of learning activities by lecturers to students at Dharmawangsa University. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive methods. The research was conducted at the Dharmawangsa University. The research informants consisted of 6 permanent lecturers and 6 students from 6 faculties. Data collection using interview techniques. The results showed that during the covid 19 period, with online lectures, lecturers and students used learning media provided by Dharmawangsa University in the form of a google classroom with limited facilities that could only convey written materials. To be able to interact directly in the form of oral and video lecturers using Whatsapp media. The obstacles faced by lecturers were problems with the internet network which was sometimes unstable and internet quota, which was also experienced by students. The conclusion of the research on the lecture process using internet media as a medium of learning communication has been able to fulfill online lectures according to the set schedule, it's just that there are still many weaknesses faced in terms of providing internet media facilities so that the lecture process does not run optimally.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatar belakangi jenjang pendidikan di kelurahan nelayan indah adalah mayoritas Sekolah Dasar (SD) memiliki jumlah yang paling banyak sekitar 400 orang, SMP sekitar 300 orang, SMA sebanyak 300 orang, perguruan tinggi sebanyak 15 orang. Rendahnya kemampuan dan pendidikan masyarakat di Kelurahan Nelayan Indah menyebabkan potensi alam yang begitu besar tidak dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat sehingga potesi alam tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh pihak luar kelurahan dan masyarakat setempat hanya sebagai pekerja saja. Solusi yang akan ditawarkan melalui Program PkM FEB UNDHAR yang dilaksanakan di Karang Taruna Nelayan Indah yaitu mengadakan pelatihan strategi penguatan literasi informasi bagi pemuda pemudi Karang Taruna Nelayan Indah, bekerja sama dengan lembaga literasi lainnya, membuat akun sosial media untuk membuka donasi buku, penambahan waktu (jam buka) taman baca menjadi 6 (enam) hari dalam seminggu dengan durasi 2 – 3 jam per hari dengan mengkombinasi taman baca menjadi taman untuk belajar/ membaca dan taman bermain, mengadakan permainan edukatif di luar rumah. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu survei awal, identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, penetapan khalayak sasaran, pengukuran indikator keberhasilan, pelaksanaan program, penyusunan program dan kunjungan keberlanjutan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah terlaksananya sosialisasi strategi penguatan literasi informasi, memberikan media belajar/bermain yang edukatif, kreatif dan variatif,  games edukatif, story telling, menggambar dan mewarnai.Terjalinnya kerja sama dengan Agya Ayla Squad ALMIRA Spirit Nabawiyah Community. Hasil kegiatan ini kegiatan yang lebih bervariasi, kreatif dan edukatif yang dilaksanakan tim PKM UNDHAR, ternyata dapat meningkatkan minat baca dan jumlah anak yang datang ke taman baca. Beberapa pihak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan PKM ini, cukup memberi warna dan semangat baru bagi anak – anak KNI. Upload setiap kegiatan anak-anak saat belajar/ bermain di taman baca ke media social dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak-anak dan pemuda pemudi Karang Taruna.

Abstract

Education is a right for all people. In its implementation, education costs are needed which are obtained from the cost of school operational assistance (BOS). Education costs are all types of expenditures related to the implementation of education, both in the form of money and goods and labor that can be valued for money. Cost is a potential that greatly determines the quality of education, because it is very important, it is necessary to manage costs effectively and efficiently in order to produce quality schools and have quality students. In improving the quality of education, strong support is needed in the activities of the learning process, the use of educational facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the provisions of national education standards. In this study, the authors examine the realization of the use of BOS funds and the responses of students about the use of BOS funds at UPT SD Negeri 065006 Belawan. School operational assistance is assistance from the government to schools based on the number of students in the school. The amount of costs includes the cost of providing facilities and infrastructure, developing human resources, and working capital. The BOS fee is expected to ease the burden on parents for their children's education. Quality education is education that is able to carry out the process of quality education by freeing students from ignorance, incompetence, powerlessness, untruth, dishonesty, and from bad morals and faith. If the BOS funds are used properly, it will certainly produce quality students. The research method used is quantitative with a simple linear regression analysis approach, validity test, and reliability test. The population in this study was the principal, all people who were in UPT SD Negeri 065006 Belawan. The samples in this study were principals, teachers, and fifth and sixth grade students. Sources of data collection used in this study were interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaire techniques.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa proses pembelajaran guru dengan memperhatikan kapabilitasnya sebagai seorang pengajar dan perilaku siswa saat proses belajar sedang berlangsung. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga untuk memperoleh informasi terhadap proses belajar mengajar sebagai pengumpulan data untuk keperluan evaluasi pembelajaran. Sampel yang digunakan yakni siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Medan sebanyak 254 siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif melalui analisa terhadap nilai hasil ulangan MID semester. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari pengamatan lapanagn di sekolah dimana penelitian dilaksanakan. Teknik analisis data dengan Statistik Proses Kontrol berupa peta kendali x ? chart, R chart dan Proses Kapabilitas (Cpl). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran belum berjalan seperti yang telah direncanakan/diharapkan sehingga tidak dapat menghasilkan luaran berupa hasil belajar siswa yang sesuai dengan rencana. Sementara itu, untuk cara guru melakukan proses pembelajaran, menurut hasil observasi lapangan dinyatakan bahwa guru melakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang tidak interaktif, sehingga perilaku siswa cenderung pasif.

Abstract

Digital literacy has become one of the essential skills that includes the ability to use technological devices, access information, and understand and use that information effectively. Digital literacy includes various competencies known as computer literacy, information literacy and media literacy. Information facilities in rural areas are usually easily obtained by meetings or gatherings of a number of local residents, for example, coffee shops have long been known as the social center of many communities including in Klambir Village. The coffee shop, named Warkop Bang si X, is often used as a space to discuss, exchange information, and build social networks. The problems faced by partners in Klambir Village, Hamparan Perak District, there is still a gap in digital literacy, especially among people with a less supportive age background, their curiosity is reduced, so that the ability to access, understand, and utilize digital information is ruled out which can actually be a prerequisite for effective participation in various aspects of life, from education to the economy. The solution to the partner's problem is that the service team conducts counseling by utilizing coffee shops as an increase in residents' interest in using digital literacy. This PKM uses socialization and training methods using digital devices (gadgets). This method aims to provide knowledge.
