Abstract

Desa Pangkalan Benteng Kecamatan Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin Propinsi Sumatera Selatan termasuk dalam klasifikasi Desa Swakarya dengan komoditi bayam dan mentimun, hasil pertanian yang lain masih sangat rendah.  Masyarakat di Desa Pangkalan Benteng memiliki lahan yang luas yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal dari hasil komoditi pangan. Dibutuhkan inovasi yang tepat digunakan untuk dapat membangun semangat masyarakat desa agar bisa memaksimalkan penggelolaan dan pemanfaatan lahan  pertanian dan lahan disekitar tempat tinggal untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi pertanian. Salah satu cara untuk mengelola dan memanfaatkan lahan pertanian dan lahan disekitar tempat tinggal semaksimal adalah dengan penerapan Sistem  Agrosilvofishery. Sistem  Agrosilvofishery merupakan sistem pertanian yang memanfaatkan satu hamparan lahan dengan mengkombinasikan tiga komoditi yaitu komoditi tanaman holtikultura, komoditi kehutanan dan komoditi perikanan. Dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (P3M-KKN) ini dilaksanakan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Desa Pangkalan Benteng pada tanggal 03 Maret 2023 bertempat di Desa Pangkalan Benteng Kecamatan Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan dan pembuatan demplot percontohan penerapan Sistem  Agrosilvofishery pada salah satu lahan milik warga desa.  Dengan kegiatan penyuluhan dan pembuatan demplot percontohan ini diharapkan akan menumbuhkan pemahaman pada masyarakat tentang Sistem Agrosilvofishery dan nantinya masyarakat tertarik untuk menerapkan sistem ini pada pertanian dan lahan sekitar tempat tinggal masyarakat sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pangan yang baik dan bergizi serta dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber mata pencaharian yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Pangkalan Benteng.

Abstract

The forest has a function as a place for various animals in it, such as the Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus. Temminck). The condition of elephant habitat is decreasing in Sumatra, especially in South Sumatra Province. The decline in the quality of elephant habitat in South Sumatra Province has resulted in an increasingly narrow shortage, one of the conservation areas for elephant habitat protection, namely the Gunung Raya Wildlife Reserve. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Descriptive research is conducted to describe a symptom or event that occurs factually, systematically and accurately. The sampling method uses the Simple Random Sampling Technique, namely the sampling technique from the population is carried out randomly without regard to the strata in that population. Methods of data management using quantitative descriptive analysis using Likert Scale analysis. The results showed that the assessment of community understanding was 86.20%, this indicated that the people of Sidodadi Village and Durian Sembilan Village knew about the existence of Gunung Raya Wildlife Sanctuary, while the level of public attention to environmental and forestry issues was 65.51% of the people did not know or lacked attention to environmental problems, and Agencies responsible for solving environmental and forestry problems amounting to 68.98%, this is based on community statements that the village head is responsible for solving environmental and forestry problems.

Abstract

Agroforestry is a land management system that combines agricultural production plants with forestry plants. Based on economic aspects, implementing an agroforestry system combines several types of plants on one land, this can increase crop productivity. so that the total income after harvest will be abundant. This research aims to identify the agroforestry planting patterns implemented and analyze farmers' income in Tanjung Beringin Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in Tanjung Beringin Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula with a total of 31 respondents. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents. The results of the research show that the community in Tanjung Beringin Village applies the Randome Mixture agroforestry planting pattern by implementing agricultural crops and forestry plants planted irregularly according to the wishes of farmers. Respondents' household income comes from fruit sales, income from secondary crops. The contribution of agroforestry income is greater than income originating from non-agroforestry (Rp. 80,000,000,-). The results of agroforestry in Tanjung Beringin Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency contributed to an income (all respondents) of Rp. 98,906,000,- Per year.Key words: Agroforestry, agroforestry system, cropping patterns, income, contribution

Abstract

Swallows are a very special type of bird. Swiftlet nests come from the saliva of birds of the Collocalia fuciphaga species which are used as a place to lay their eggs. This research was conducted in Berlian Makmur Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Regency in July 2020. The method used in this research was qualitative, namely collecting data by observation and interviews with resource persons, namely the people of Berlian Makmur Village who own a swallow business and the people who live around the owner. 30 people in the swallow's nest business. The research results obtained show that there is an influence of swallow's nests on changes in the community economy in Berlian Makmur Village, this can be seen from the results of the questions asked, interviews and observations carried out by researchers. The Berlian Makmur Village community has 17 white nest swallow bird nest entrepreneurs. The swallow's nests can be harvested every month by looking for nests that are ready to harvest in the swallow's nest building. Having a swallow business in Berlian Makmur Village can increase people's income and improve the community's economic level. The people of Berlian Makmur Village are included in the rich group or the equivalent of a rice exchange rate of >960 kg/capita/year after some of the people running the swallow business experienced economic changes.

Abstract

The pandemic conditions caused by Covid-19 have caused a quite drastic decline in the tourism sector in Indonesia, even though the tourism sector contributes as a source of income for the country. This research aims to increase the potential of Pelancu ecotourism by implementing a strategy to develop Pelancu ecotourism after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was carried out in Ulak Pandan Village, West Merapi District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province from September to November 2022. The research method used qualitative methods. Descriptive analysis, in collecting samples, descriptive data is produced in the form of words or verbally from several sources, namely the village government including the Village Head and BPD (Village Consultative Body), tourism managers, and the surrounding community as well as Pelancu Tourism tourists.  The research results show that the condition of Pelancu Tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic is well maintained, cool and beautiful. The arrangement of the Pelancu Tourism area is maintained, especially the cleanliness of the surrounding environment, which is the responsibility of the Pelancu Tourism object management. Some of the shortcomings found after the Covid pandemic were that the management did not pay enough attention to the infrastructure at Pelancu Tourism. The strategy for restoring Pelancu ecotourism in Ulak Pandan Village that the management will carry out is by adding several facilities such as the addition of children's park play equipment and infrastructure such as family food huts, photo-taking rides to attract the interest of tourists who come to Pelancu Tourism like before the Covid-19 pandemic. happen. Then by promoting it on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, etc. By updating posts on the Pelancu Tourism website and social media.
