Abstract

This study examined Indonesian and Malaysian pre-service teachers’ digitaltechnology integration during teaching practices. Technological pedagogical andcontent knowledge (TPACK) framework was utilised to predict the use of digitaltechnology. The objectives of the study is to determine if the TPACK is a valid andreliable model to explain pre-service teachers’ digital technology integration duringteaching practices. Three hundred and seventy-seven pre-service teachers from twouniversities completed a 37-item survey instruments based on the TPACK and digitaltechnology implementation. The establishment of the instruments was conductedthrough content validity, face validity, and content validity index (CVI). Pilot studydata were analysed through the test of reliability and exploratory factor analysis(EFA). The current study results, computed through partial least squares structuralequation modelling (PLS-SEM) informed 13 hypotheses. Overall, the TPACKcomponents are interconnected and reported to be a valid model to help explainIndonesian and Malaysian pre-service teachers’ digital UICT during teachingpractice. Policy recommendations and suggestions are offered for the betterment ofIndoensian teachers’ level of TPACK and digital technology integration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an online-based learning resource for Indonesian language teachers. The development step started with the identification of learning objectives, learning process, analysis of learning resources and environments, formulation of specific objectives, design of assessment instruments and learning strategies, selection and development of teaching materials, design and evaluation of formative development projects, and making of good terms. The findings showed that the formative evaluations by experts showed the agreements of 89.23% from educational technology experts, 97.50% from material experts, and 90.00% from multimedia experts. The agreements informed that the online-based learning could be recommended for Indonesian language teachers. Furthermore, the average results of individual trials were 89.21%, small group trials (97.13%), and field trials (89.04%). The online-based learning resource established in this research and development study was feasible and useable. Implications of the findings are also discussed.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan kegiatan-kegiatann yang dilakukan oleh sekolah sudah semestinya didasarkan pada tata kerja yang ada. Dari sini berperan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan terakhir evaluasi. Setiap program kegiatan yang dilaksanakan sudah semestinya dilakukan kegiatan evaluasi untuk melihat sejauh mana manfaat suatu program kegiatan beserta kekurangan-kekurangan dan hambatan-hambatan yang ada. Penyusunan tata kerja sekolah merupakan langkah untuk membuat suatu perencanaan terhadap program-program kegiatan sekolah. Selain itu, penyusunan tata kerja sekolah juga merupakan prosedur kerja bagi setiap warga sekolah dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan sesuai tugas, pokok dan fungsinya. Analisis evaluasi terhadap program kegiatan sekolah merupakan upaya kontrol untuk melihat sejuah mana program kegiatan sekolah dijalankan serta manfaatnya bagi perkembangan sekolah tersebut. Evaluasi merupakan sebuah perbaikan dan penyempurnaan serta penilaian apakah suatu program kegiatan sekolah dapat diteruskan atau tidak perlu dilanjutkan. Pelatihan Penyusunan Tata Kerja dan Analisis Evaluasi Sekolah ini dipandang penting dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja sekolah yang juga berpengaruh pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini akan sangat berguna bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah.

Abstract

Pengelolaan organisasi sekolah merupakan pengelompokkan terhadap bidang-bidang urusan yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi dan memudahkan penetapan penanggung jawab dari masing masing bidang urusan yang akan berwewenang untuk mengawasi kinerja sumber daya manusia pelaksanaannya. Stategi yang dapat dipilih sebagai jawaban dalam pengelolaan organisasi sekolah untuk secara cepat mengakses informasi dan pelayanan yaitu melalui penerapan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Pelatihan ini dipandang penting bagi peningkatan kinerja sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan karena berupaya untuk memberikan pelatihan peningkatan pengelolaan organisasi sekolah berbasis TIK terhadap peningkatan kinerja sekolah dan hasil akhir dari pelatihan ini akan sangat bermanfaat bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam meningkatkan kinerja sekolah. Pelatihan Pengelolaan Organisasi Sekolah dilakukan dengan mengunakan berbagai metode yang terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi kelompok besar dan kecil serta presentasi individu dan kelompok. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan pengarahan kepada peserta hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan teori tentang Pengelolaan Organisasi Sekolah. Sedangkan metode kerja individu dan kelompok digunakan untuk praktik Pengelolaan Organisasi kepada para peserta pelatihan. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan terdiri dari: 1) Tata Kerja Organisasi Sekolah yang berupa a) Pelatihan Penyusunan SOP dan b) Pelatihan Evaluasi Program; serta 2) Pelatihan Penerapan TIK yang berupa a) Pelatihan Manajemen Sekolah Berbasis TIK, 2) Pengelolaan Kelas Online dan Pembuatan Video Pembelajaran, dan c) Pelatihan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Artikel Ilmiah dan Manajemen Referensi Berbasis TIK.

Abstract

The strategy for generating student activity in the learning process is to use appropriate methods or models that learning can make students as subjects who try to explore themselves, solve their own problems of a concept being studied, while the teacher acts more as a motivator and facilitator. For this reason, this class action research was conducted to see whether contextual methods could increase student motivation in learning materials for Class XI of Administration Procedures of Office Administration 3 Department of Office Administration at SMKN 1 Kota Jambi. The subjects in this study were students of class XI of Office Administration 3 Department of Office Administration at SMKN 1 Kota Jambi, totaling 40 students, with 28 women and 12 men. This class action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle was a process flow which includes four stages, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. From reflection on cycle I, if it appeared that students had not reached the minimum value, then cycle II was performed to perfect cycle I. The Improvement of student learning outcomes seemed to be seen from Pre-Cycle to Cycle I and looked even more apparent from Cycle I to Cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract The implementation of the learning process in the classroom is the spirit of education. The implementation of quality learning will produce quality education as well. However, several research results found that the learning design was not yet oriented to student-centered activities. The STEM-Approach is one of the learning approaches that orientation activates students in the learning process through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This community service aims to provide the understanding and good practice by teachers in designing STEM-Approach Learning. The training was given to teachers of SMAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi Province. Thirty-six teachers from various subjects attended it. The training uses a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with in-service and on-the-job learning techniques. From the implementation of the training, 86.11% or 31 teachers understood and practiced designing a STEM-Based Approach for educational learning according to the criteria. This best-practice is carried out both individually and in collaboration. Training with the PjBL Model improved the pedagogical competence of teachers in designing learning with a STEM-Approach Abstrak Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di kelas merupakan ruh dari pendidikan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berkualitas akan melahirkan pendidikan yang berkualitas pula. Dari beberapa hasil riset menemukan, bahwa rancangan pembelajaran belum berorientasi kepada aktivitas yang berpusat kepada peserta didik. Pendekatan STEM merupakan salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang orientasinya mengaktifkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui prinsip-prinsip science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan praktik baik yang dilakukan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM. Pelatihan diberikan kepada guru SMAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 36 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Pelatihan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan teknik in service dan on the job learning. Dari pelaksanaan pelatihan yang sudah dilakukan terdapat 86,11% atau 31 orang guru yang memiliki pemahaman dan praktik merancang pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM sesuai kriteria. Praktik baik ini dilakukan baik secara individu maupun berkolaborasi. Pelatihan dengan Model PjBL ternyata mampu meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam merancang pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM.

Abstract

This research has a background of the gap between the need for learning resources and the availability of additional learning resources in schools. Where interesting learning resources are one way to help students achieve an understanding of the material. Plantae materials have quite a lot of material content and make students bored if they only learn using printed books and lead to lower interest and learning outcomes compared to other materials. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, procedures for developing the encyclopedia plantae based on the local potential of the Musi Banyuasin district and the perceptions of teachers and students towards the developed encyclopedia product. This research includes the type of research and development or R&D that will produce a product. This encyclopedia research uses the ADDIE model where there are several processes, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This encyclopedia is based on validation by material experts and learning media design experts with a "very valid" validity result. The subjects of this study were students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin and Biology teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bayung Lencir/ UPT SMAN 6 Musi Banyuasin. Based on the results of the validation and trials as well as the responses given, it can be concluded that the Encyclopedia of Plantae Based on Local Potential in Musi Banyuasin Regency is feasible to use

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of self-efficacy, self-actualisation, and the learning environment both individually and collectively on achievement motives in class XII students at SMA Adhyaksa 1 Jambi. This research is classified as research with the type of expost-facto using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all XII grade students at Adhyaksa 1 Jambi High School totalling 134 people, and the sampling technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistical methods using simple regression and multiple regression techniques. The results of this study prove that self-efficacy has a significant effect on student achievement motives with a magnitude of influence of 49.1%. Self-actualisation variables have a significant effect on student achievement motives with a large influence of 49.9%. The learning environment variable has a significant effect on the motive for achievement in students with a magnitude of influence given of 34.2%. The results of multiple regression analysis prove that together the variables of self-efficacy, self-actualisation and learning environment have a significant effect on students' achievement motives with a value of the influence given of 60.4%.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Universitas Jambi (UNJA), melalui website yang dimilikinya seharusnya dapat memberikan informasi cara mengakses E-resources yang dimilikinya. Dengan pemenuhan informasi panduan tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan layanan berbasis industri 4.0, salah satu caranya adalah dengan membuat video manual prosedur penggunaan E-resources website perpustkaan UNJA. Hal ini dibuat dengan tujuan agar kegiatan akses informasi pada seluruh pemustaka dapat didistribusikan dengan baik dan berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien.Pemustaka banyak yang tidak memahami cara penggunaan e-resource perpustakaan Universitas Jambi. Oleh karena hal tersebut pasti akan mempengaruhi penggunaan e-resource perpustakaan, Peneliti disini mengembangkan Manual Prosedur Penggunaan E-Resources web berbasis video terhadap pemanfaatan digital library pada perpustakaan Universitas Jambi. Subjek dalam pengembangan ini adalah pemustaka Universitas Jambi. Prosedur pengembangan pengembangan ini mengacu pada model Trollip & Alessi. Untuk menilai produk yang dikembangkan maka diterapkan uji validasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, angket respon pemustaka serta untuk melihat peningkatan pengetahuan dalam penggunaan e-resource perpustakaan Universitas Jambi.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of a literacy program based on predetermined indicators, with the expectation that the findings will benefit future policy formulation. The research used a qualitative approach, specifically the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation. Data collection involved interviews and observations. The School Literacy Movement is a government initiative aimed at improving literacy levels in Indonesia. In the Muaro Jambi District, a primary school serving as an implementer of the School Literacy Movement experienced a decline in literacy education based on educational report card scores. After conducting the research, it was found that the school already had clear goals in the context, but it required additional inputs such as integrating the vision and mission to motivate teachers and students, establishing a School Literacy Team (TLS), implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and optimizing the use of facilities and resources. In the process, academic supervision and creativity in finding appropriate learning media were still needed, along with personalized guidance for students to identify their learning styles to ensure that the outcomes aligned with the intended goals. The research highlights the importance of various factors in implementing the literacy program, and the findings can contribute to improving future literacy policies in schools.
