Abstract

Background – The performance of employees of PT. X Gresik in 2021 to 2023 the number of employees who obtained excellent performance has decreased while employees with less performance has increased. With the increase in underperforming employees every year and the number of employees who perform quite a lot, of course, it can be an obstacle to achieving company goals. Objective – This research aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the performance of permanent employees of PT. X Gresik. Design / Methodology / Approach – This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 57 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. Findings – The results showed that organizational commitment and job satisfaction partially had a positive and significant effect on the performance of permanent employees of PT. X Gresik. Research Implication – This research can be used as a reference for PT. X Gresik to encourage better employee performance by paying attention to factors that can increase employee commitment and satisfaction. Limitations – This research has limitations only in a relatively small sample size, so it is considered less representative.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of reward, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance at PT. Metal Hitech Engineering. The research employs a quantitative method with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to 65 respondents. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, along with validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of the study indicate that reward, work discipline, and compensation have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

Companies prioritising innovation tend to enhance productivity and appeal, attracting highly skilled talent. However, innovation alone is insufficient to ensure optimal employee performance. This study examines the impact of organisational culture on employee performance, with person-organisation fit serving as a mediating variable within the context of manufacturing companies. A quantitative research approach was applied at PT ADP. The study population consisted of 725 employees, with a sample size of 258 respondents determined by the purposive sampling method. Data were analysed using path analysis. The results indicate that organisational culture positively and significantly influences employee performance and person-organisation fit. Additionally, person-organisation fit was found to positively and significantly affect employee performance. Moreover, organisational culture significantly indirectly affects employee performance through person-organisation fit, confirming its mediating role. These findings highlight the critical importance of fostering an organisational culture that aligns with employee values to enhance overall performance. Companies are encouraged to actively develop cultural strategies that reinforce this alignment to achieve optimal outcomes.   Keywords: Organisational Culture, Employee Performance, Person-Organisation Fit   Abstrak Perusahaan yang fokus pada inovasi seringkali mampu meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya tariknya sebagai tempat kerja, sehingga menarik karyawan dengan keterampilan tinggi. Namun, inovasi saja tidak cukup untuk menciptakan kinerja karyawan yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan person organization fit sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahan manufaktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pada PT. ADP. Populasi penelitian ini pegawai sebanyak 725 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 258 responden yang ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data mengunakan path analysis. Berasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh bahwa Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dan Person Organizational Fit. Selanjutnya, Person Organizational Fit juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Kemudian Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan melalui Person Organizational Fit sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, Budaya Organisasi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan. Dengan demikian perusahaan harus mempertimbangkan aspek budaya organisasi dan penerapan strategi untuk memperkuat kesesuaian antara karyawan dan nilai-nilai perusahaan guna mencapai hasil kinerja yang optimal.   Kata kunci: Budaya Organisasi, Kinerja Karyawan, Person Organization Fit

Abstract

Background - PT. Trans Ocean Services Indonesia, a company engaged in transportation management services (JPT) or Freight Forwarding. In 2022, there were employees who left the company every month because of the employee's own wishes and the company did not extend the employee's contract Objective - This study aims to test job insecurity, job stress and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT. Trans Ocean Services Indonesia. Design / Methodology / Approach - The population used in this study were all permanent employees working at PT. Trans Ocean Services Indonesia, totaling 61 people with a saturated sampling technique, namely a sampling technique where all members of the population were sampled. The data source in this study is primary data, namely the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely employees of PT. Trans Ocean Services Indonesia. The type of data used is subjective data in the form of written responses as questionnaire responses. The analysis model used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis model. Findings - Job insecurity has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. job stress has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Research Implications – The level of job insecurity given by the company to employees can be seen from the meaning of the job for the individual, the level of threat felt by employees regarding aspects of the job, the level of threat that is likely to occur and affect the overall work of the individual, the helplessness of the individual and the level of threat to the job in the following year. The level of job stress given by the company to employees can be seen from the demands of the task, the demands of the role, the demands of interpersonal relationships, the organizational structure and the leadership of the organization providing a management style to the organization. The level of job satisfaction given by the company to employees can be seen from the work, wages, promotions, supervisors and co-workers. Research Limitations – The research will provide valid results for the company that is the object of the research

Abstract

Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) is one of the banking companies whose business scope is narrower than that of commercial banks. This study aims to identify and analyze PD Strategies. BPR Bank Jombang to build quality banking services to create customer satisfaction for the people in Jombang. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, the data collection method used is observation and interview method, the data source used is the primary (direct) data source, namely the interview results, while the data analysis techniques used are triangulation or metode which aims to evaluate how the implementation of strategies to support the success of Bank Jombang's marketing to increase customer satisfaction. From the results of this study, it can be concluded PD. BPR Bank Jombang as a banking company based in the region, that Bank Jombang has a considerable opportunity in developing its business. This can be seen from the achievement of a Simarmas Program that is able to attract customers, and customers are also very enthusiastic in the presence of the Simarmas Program.

Abstract

Background – Leadership is a key factor in determining the directon and dynamcs of an organization. In the context of Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim, the implementation of Islamic Leadership models has not yet been optimized, despite their strong foundation in moral, spiritual, and humanitarian values as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Objectives – This study aims to analyze the relevance and implementation of Islamic leadership values in the modern era, and to explore the ideal characteristics of an Islamic leader based on the Qur’an and Sunnah Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This research adopts a qualitative approach using literature review as the primary method. Data were analyzed from various relevant soruces discussing the theory and practice of Islamc leadership and its application in contemporary contexts. Findings – The study finds that the principles of Islamic leadership-such as honesty, exemplary conduct, justice, and service-remain relevant and can serve as a solution to leadership crises driven by political power in the modern era. Islamic leaders are expected to carry out their duties with sincerity, as a form of worship, and with a focus on communal benefit. Conclusion – Islamic leadership is not only compatible with the demands of modern tmes but also offers a framework for improving leadership quality across sectors. A deep understanding of Islamic values and prophetic character is essential in shaping effective and moral leadership Research Implications – This research provides a theoretical foundation for developing leadership models based on Islamic values in contemporary organizations and contributes to the literature on leadership from a religious perspective. Research Limitations – This study is limited to a conceptual approach through literature review and does not include empirical data from filed practices, indicating the need for further research through case studies or surveys.

Abstract

Service innovation is currently a challenge for every business, including start-up food and beverage businesses in Yogyakarta. This study aims to test the importance of service performance innovation by considering positive Thriving at work behavior as a mediator, with antecedents of Leader Member Exchange (LMX) and co-worker support. The approach used in the study is a quantitative approach. The study was conducted by taking a Food and beverage startup business, a Cafe service in the Yogyakarta area. Using Path Analysis and Sobel test, the results show the influence of LMX on Thriving at work, the influence of co-worker support on thriving at work, and the influence of co-worker support on service performance innovation. The results of this study provide implications for the importance of building a model for improving business service performance innovation through positive thriving at work behavior and organizational processes, namely leader member exchange and co-worker support, especially in the context of the food and beverage business.

Abstract

Adanya fenomena stres kerja karyawan dan motivasi kerja karyawan dalam bekerja terhadap perusahaan, dan juga adanya komitmen karyawan terhadap perusahaan membuat peneliti melakukan penelitian yang berjudul "pengaruh stres kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel intervening pada PT. Envilab Indonesia". Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap faktor-faktor yang mungkin memoderasi pengaruh stres kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di konteks perusahaan PT Envilab Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian berbasis kuantitatif yang dilakukan pada sampel 81 pegawai di PT. Envilab Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan kuisioner dan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS versi 4.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi dapat memediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak sebesar pengaruh langsung dari stres kerja terhadap kinerja. Selain itu, komitmen organisasi juga dapat memediasi pengaruh positif motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, meskipun dampaknya tidak sekuat pengaruh langsung dari motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

Periode globalisasi seperti sekarang ini berkembang begitu cepat. Persaingan antar bisnis dan organisasi menjadi sangat kompleks, dan di zaman sekarang ini, bisnis membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas tinggi karena disiplin kerja bisnis dan organisasi menentukan keberhasilan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi dan sampel karyawan PT Beton Gresik dengan metode kualitatif dan deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana disiplin kerja karyawan PT Beton Gresik. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa disiplin PT Beton Gresik perlu lebih ditingkatkan lagi untuk kedisiplinan hukuman dan penghargaan yang sah bagi karyawan.
