Abstract

The innovative pattern of productive distribution of zakat funds at the empirical level, the process of Islamization of the income distribution system is still relatively new and is still being implemented in small volumes by a number of zakat amil institutions, but it is already showing a direction of optimism. The research aims to find out whether there is a program for utilizing zakat funds launched by the zakat amil institution Rumah Zakat Indonesia. Researchers assume that zakat funds have a productive content that is different from other forms of loans, which of course will shape productivity patterns. The research used qualitative methods, data was obtained from the results of researchers' observations and surveys on the program for utilizing zakat funds for productive programs. The research results show that the utilization program launched by Rumah Zakat Indonesia through an income distribution system, although at an empirical level, is still relatively new, it is already moving towards optimism. The policy of the utilization program through the target dimension is very appropriate, by making the poor as the target recipients of productive zakat funds.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of digital economy training as an effort to mitigate the phenomenon of child labor among school-age youth in Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. Using a qualitative case study approach with descriptive-analytical methods, this research explores the socio-economic conditions, motivations, and challenges faced by children aged 16–18 who work instead of pursuing formal education. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation involving several key informants, including child workers, community leaders, and local entrepreneurs. The findings reveal that economic pressure, family disharmony, and limited access to education are the primary factors driving school dropout and child labor. Nevertheless, most informants exhibit strong motivation to continue learning through non-formal education such as PKBM and show interest in digital economic activities, including e-commerce and freelance work. The study concludes that digital economy training can serve as an empowerment medium, enhancing human capital and providing sustainable livelihood alternatives for marginalized youth. These findings reinforce empowerment and human capital theories, emphasizing the need for community-based digital training integrated with non-formal education programs

Abstract

This research is an effort to develop employee performance, specifically among female banking employees in Bandung City. Performance development is crucial for adapting to rapid and easily accessible changes driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is hoped that enhanced performance will yield a human resource capable of competing with existing technology. A further rationale for this study is the existence of prior research indicating that Emotional Intelligence does not significantly affect employee performance. The method employed to achieve these objectives is explanatory research. This approach is chosen as the researcher aims not only to describe the empirical facts observed in the field but also to analyze and explain the relationships between variables. This study was conducted with 100 female banking employees in Bandung City, selected through a sampling system. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) Version 4.1.1.6. The findings of this study are: first, there is no significant influence of Emotional Intelligence on the performance of female banking employees; second, there is a significant influence of Emotional Intelligence on Work-Life Balance; third, there is a significant influence of Work-Life Balance on the performance of female banking employees; and fourth, Work-Life Balance is proven to mediate the influence of Emotional Intelligence on employee performance.

Abstract

Tourist revisit intention is a key element of the success of the tourism industry. This study analyzes the relationship between media richness and revisit intention, with perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, perceived aesthetics, and satisfaction. A survey was conducted on 240 tourists at a local tourism destination themed “tourist village” using a bipolar adjective scale. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with partial least square using SmartPLS 3.0. The findings indicate that media richness influenced perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, and perceived aesthetics. Perceived enjoyment and perceived aesthetics then influenced satisfaction. Meanwhile, perceived usefulness did not influence satisfaction. Tourist satisfaction ultimately influenced revisit intention. These findings highlight the importance of media richness in 2D visual media that can create positive tourist perceptions, increase satisfaction, and encourage repeat visits to local destinations. This study provides practical insights for tourism managers to utilize digital media by focusing on media richness, perceived enjoyment, perceived usefulness, perceived aesthetics, and satisfaction to improve destination competitiveness.

Abstract

The study aims to address the limited empirical studies that simultaneously examine economic, psychographic, and sensory factors in shaping traditional culinary experiences, with a focus on Nasi Tutug Oncom in Tasikmalaya. Objectives: The study examines the influence of income level, lifestyle, and sensory branding on the culinary consumption experience of traditional food consumers.Methodology: The study used a quantitative survey approach using an online questionnaire that was sent to 272 participants that were selected using Cochran's formula. Data were analyzed using SPSS, which included validity, reliability, linearity, and multiple regression analysis.Findings: The results suggest that while lifestyle has no discernible impact, income level and sensory branding have a positive and considerable impact on the gastronomic consumption experience. The F-test shows that the model fits the data well, suggesting that the independent variables together account for the variation in gastronomic consuming experience. Conclusion: The study concludes that while lifestyle has little bearing on traditional culinary experiences, financial ability and sensory stimuli are important factors in enhancing them.
