Abstract

This study aims to identify factors causing the shift function of Radio Suara Surabaya. This research also explains the reason for the shift to occur. In examining the shift of Radio Suara Surabaya function from its original function and why the shift occurred, the researcher uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. In the early stages of this study, the researchers identified the initial function of the establishment of Radio Suara Surabaya as an information radio. Furthermore, it describes the shift of voice function of Radio Suara Surabaya into a grievance function. Finally the researchers identified the reason for the radio function shift. At the stage to maintain the credibility of research data, researchers conducted data triangulation by conducting literature studies on radio and radio management.

Abstract

Laras Asri Resort & Spa is a service company in the shape of a 4 star hotel with a resort concept in Salatiga. In competing with other competitors, certainly the hotel management needs to make a communication strategy to sell his services. The strong competition in the climate of Salatiga hotels there are 15 total needed for effective marketing communications strategy in order to achieve the objectives of the Laras Asri Resort & Spa, that is to be the leading luxury hotel and most comfortable in Central Java, with the main products i.e. either rooms or dwelling.During a period of 3 years of the implementation of the integrated marketing communications program, there is a missmatch in the number of consumer acquisition Number of guest and Total guest in outlets, where the gains that have been achieved does not fulfill the purpose of the hotel. It is therefore through a study entitled "EVALUATION OF THE INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM LARAS ASRI RESORT & SPA THE PERIOD 2010-2012", researchers want to find out what factors caused the difference number of consumer acquisition.This research uses qualitative evaluation methods, where researchers will eventually describe the integrated marketing communications program which are then evaluated using methods CIPP Stufflebeam.The conclusions of this study, it was found that the integrated marketing communications program, which was done through a form of Direct marketing, Personal seling, and Advertising have not been able to fulfill the purpose of the Laras Asri Resort & Spa which is put forward their primary products. Where this is due to the message in the integrated marketing communications program that has been implemented very little load the message with the content of the main product. Keywords: CIPP, Integrated Marketing Communication, Laras Asri Resort & Spa

Abstract

The issues of Christianization in Salatiga become the other side from a city that presumed was peacefully plural place. Begin from Salatiga impression as a Christian city because of the alleged huge housing Christian worship, The Christian domination in Salatiga cause of the largest Christian university faith-based local that lifted up named Satya Wacana Christian University, Until a long cases related to land disputes in Salib Putih at year end 2007 involving two groups of full of ambition on behalf of Islam and Christian that making the issue continues to roll in speculation without clarification. This research aims to analyze how Salatiga’s moslem perception in defining the issues and factors that affect the perception. In order to refine the analysis in the fields of communication, this research also uses the concept of Coordinated Management of Meaning to understand the construction of the perception being created every informant. The results showed that the tendency of perception lies in the context of the majority and minority. The difference lies in the perception is factors among people (informant) , factors on the object of perception, and the factors on the situation. The factors that influencing informant itself is attitudes, interests, and experiences. Factors that influence the perception of an object is the movement, size, and proximity. Abstract

Coolant is new product of isotonic drink, but as the trading by, Coolant decided to withdraw from the isotonic market. Realizing the market of isotonic drink has already been competitive and full of market leader, Coolant chose to create new sub category; positions as “body cooling drink”. To introduce the positioning to the market place and audience, Coolant recruited a well-known advertising agency in Indonesia, Dwi Sapta IMC since 2011. To play the marketing communication strategy, Coolant and Dwi Sapta IMC have run some campaign strategies such as advertising, brand activation, direct selling, and social media activation that led to introduce it’s positioning to public. Based on the pre-research, there was tendency in which consumers haven’t known Coolant as body cooling drink yet. This research is about the marketing communication strategy while the analysis unit is the message content in television advertisement and social media activation as these two are the marketing communication strategy that reaches whole target of audience and market of Coolant in Indonesia. The result shows Coolant is already representing it’s positioning as the body cooling drink by television commercial and social media activation. Coolant use photogenes, trick effect, pose, and texts that build audience knowledge about Coolant’s positioning. Though indeed the messages which have delivered through the communication strategy couldn’t build well-known image of positioning as consumer thought about Coolant yet. There must also some other factors besides marketing communication strategy that contribute to consumer understanding about one’s product. Keywords : Coolant, Marketing Communication Strategy, positioning, message.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai perilaku konsumen khususnya generasi milenial sudah banyak dilakukan oleh akademisi, dan kebanyakan dilakukan di wilayah perkotaan atau urban. Akan tetapi tidak semua generasi milenial hidup di wilayah perkotaan atau urban, adapula yang hidup di wilayah marginal yang terisolir dan miskin seperti di Kecamatan Mamboro, Sumba Tengah. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk melihat bagaimana perilaku konsumen di kecamatan Mamboro, Pulau Sumba yang merupakan daerah terisolir dan miskin. Teori yang digunnakan adalah teori perilaku konsumen. Paradigma yang digunakan adalah konstruktivis dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta menggunakan tehnik interview dan FGD. Metode pemilihan partisipan menggunakan purposive sampling yang melibatkan 66 orang, terbagi menjadi 2 gelombang. Komposisi partisipan terdiri dari 50 orang SMKN 1 Mamboro dan 16 Orang dari Kelompok karang Taruna Kecamatan Mamboro. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Juni hingga Juli 2019. Hasil yang didapat, perilaku konsumen di daerah miskin dan terisolir berbeda dengan daerah lainnya. Faktor sumber daya seperti uang dan lokasi yang terpencil membuat para partisipan berhati-hati dalam membeli barang. Selain itu adanya orang yang dipercaya seperti keluarga, teman dekat membuat proses pembelian online ini menjadi lebih mudah untuk dilakukan, mengingat lokasi partisipan yang terpencil.

Abstract

Social communication in the police institution is important to develop community-oriented policing (COP). This social communication can be a communication bridge between the police and the community for the purpose of integration or social adaptation. For this purpose, community service is carried out at the Pusdik Binmas Lemdiklat Polri in the form of making instructional videos for Binmas functions in the community. Instructional videos are expected to provide an overview about the synergy between the police and the community. The method used in this service is carried out through pre-production, production and post-production activities. As a result of community service there are eight instructional videos for use at the Pusdik Binmas Lemdiklat Polri.

Abstract

The problem of stunting is a national issue that needs serious attention. In Salatiga City, stunting cases are still very ups and downs. This is because it is not only a matter of poverty, but also the low level of parenting and public understanding of stunting. The purpose of this community service is to aid and strengthen the community so that they have the ability to prevent stunting through Integrated Field Learning. So that it is expected to be able to raise public awareness of the causes of stunting problems that exist in each kelurahan, and to strengthen institutions at the base level which eventually becomes a synergistic movement. And aims to build an accurate database of the profile and potential of each kelurahan. The solution given is to aid and community strengthening through pentahelix collaboration with target communities in 7 Kelurahan namely Kauman Kidul Village, Pulutan Village, Kecandaran Village, Blotongan Village, Kotawinangun Lor Village, Tegalrejo Village and Randuacir Village where PLT has been carried out related to stunting cases found in Salatiga City, stunting prevention campaign. The method is carried out by making or looking for stunting prevention strategies, prevention action plans, socialization and workshops, making communication, information and education media in the context of stunting prevention campaigns, building data houses and reading gardens that can be accessed by the community as a source of family information, one of which is related to stunting prevention.

Abstract

Komunitas adat Bonokeling di desa Pekuncen memiliki mayoritas penduduk disana merupakan pengikut Islam Kejawen yang berada dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya berhubungan dengan ritual-ritual selametan maka warga Bonokeling di desa Pekuncen sangat menghormati tradisi yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun, sehingga peneliti ingin mempelajari makna dari simbol -simbol yang terkandung dalam ritual Unggah-Unggahan Pekuncen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui arti yang terkandung dalam tanda yang tedapat pada ritual Unggah-Unggahan pada Masyarakat Bonokeling di Desa Pekuncen, Kecamatan Jatilawang, kabupaten Banyumas Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa ritual Unggah-Unggahan adalah bentuk ibadah dari pada masyarakat pengikut ajaran Kyai Bonokeling atau yang disebut sebagai anak putu.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggambarkan upaya Kepala Desa dalam menyikapi pergeseran minat masyarakat pada tradisi Merti Desa di Desa Manggihan. Manfaat dalam penelitian ini sebagai bahan informasi dalam kajian ilmu komunikasi tentang penerapan teori pada pergeseran minat masyarakat pada pagelaran pementasan Wayang Kulit dalam tradisi Merti Desa di Desa Manggihan dan sebagai tambahan pengetahuan serta memberikan gambaran tentang pergeseran minat masyarakat pada pagelaran pementasan Wayang Kulit dalam tradisi Merti Desa di Desa Manggihan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori Laswell. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada Tradisi Merti Desa di Desa Manggihan Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang tetap mengadakan Pagelaran Wayang Kulit tepatnya pada hari senin pahing (tanggal jawa), namun karena anak muda menginginkan pagelaran yang menarik pada saat Merti Desa, selain Pagelaran Wayang Kulit Kepala Desa mengadakan pagelaran Gedruk, Tari Keprajuritan, dan dangdut modern di hari lain selain hari senin pahing (tanggal jawa) sebagai upaya Kepala Desa menyikapi pergeseran minat masyarakat pada pementasan Wayang Kulit dalam tradisi Merti Dusun di Desa Manggihan

Abstract

Kesenian tradisional merupakan hasil dari bentuk kehidupan budaya yang sebenarnya. Tujuan diadakannya tari tradisional soreng sebab masyarakat setempat sangat menghargai dan juga ingin melestarikan budaya nenek moyang. dengan adanya penelitian ini bakal menjadi wadah dan juga pengetahuan bagi masyarakat agar selalu mengembangkan budaya kesenian tarian tradisionalnya. Metode penelitian yang disgunakan adalah deskripif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori Difusi Inovasi oleh Rogers ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana upaya pembaharuan atau inovasi dapat tersampaikan melalui beberapa saluran tertentu dengan ditujukan kepada sekelompok anggota yang berasal dari sistem sosial. Strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok kesenian Satrio Mudho Budhoyo dalam mengembangkan tarian tradisional soreng ini meliputi pertemuan rutin kelompok, saling mengingatkan antar anggota kelompok, membuat jadwal Latihan ruti. Selain itu juga dengan menggunakan modernisasi Gerakan, kostum, dan juga make up nya sehingga tari tradisional soreng tetap diminati oleh kalangan masyrakat.
