Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of adoption of digital technology and the Sustainable Business Model by MSMEs in Karawang, as well as identifying supporting factors, obstacles, and their impact. Qualitative and quantitative approaches are used in this study. Through online surveys and in-depth interviews, the research results show that the majority of MSMEs in Karawang have integrated digital technology, such as social media and e-commerce, with their operations. A number of MSMEs also adopt sustainable business practices, although to varying degrees. Supporting factors include training, financial support, and awareness of the benefits. Key barriers include cost and lack of understanding. The implication of this research is the need for broader training to increase MSMEs' understanding of the potential of digital technology and sustainable business practices. Financial and educational support should also be considered to overcome barriers. The importance of better internet access is also a focus in driving digital technology adoption. Overall, this research provides important insights about the adoption of digital technology and sustainable business models among MSMEs in Karawang. The implications of the results of this research can help formulate further strategies in supporting the positive growth and transformation of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

Purpose: To analyze the influence of career development and training on employee job satisfaction at the BKPSDM Karawang office. Research Methodology: This study employed a quantitative verification method. The population consisted of 53 employees, with all employees included using saturated sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression through SPSS v.25 software. Results: Career development showed a positive influence on job satisfaction. Training demonstrated a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction at BKPSDM Karawang. The study found that both Career Development (X1) and Training (X2) variables have an influence on employee Job Satisfaction (Y). Limitations: The study was confined to the BKPSDM Karawang office and focused solely on career development and training as factors affecting job satisfaction. Other potential influential variables such as discipline, workload, work schedule, motivation, environment, and leadership style were not examined in this research. Contribution: This research provides insights into the relationships between career development, training, and job satisfaction in a local government office setting. The findings can inform management strategies to enhance employee job satisfaction by focusing on career development and training programs in similar public sector environments.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the partial and simultaneous impact of compensation and job stress on the performance of ASN employees at Karawang Health Service. Research Methodology: This study uses a descriptive verification approach with a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire as a survey instrument. The sample consisted of 81 employees, selected according to the Slovin formula. The analysis was performed using a multiple regression model. Results: The results of the study show that compensation has a partial positive effect on employee performance, job stress also has a partial positive effect on employee performance, and that compensation and job stress have a simultaneous positive effect on employee performance in Karawang Health Service. Limitations: The study was conducted only at the Karawang Health Service, and the variables analyzed were limited to compensation and job stress. Future studies could expand the scope and include additional variables. Contribution: This study provides insights for the Karawang Health Service on the importance of managing compensation and job stress to improve employee performance. The findings can be used as a reference for other government agencies to enhance the performance of their employees.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and work environment on employee performance. Research method—The research employs a quantitative approach using verification analysis, conducted at Perumdam Tirta Tarum Karawang. The population consisted of 343 employees, with a sample of 78 determined using the 10% Solvin formula. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS 27 application. Result— The findings indicate a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance, evidenced by ttabel (2.295 > 2.011 or thitung > ttabel). Additionally, the work environment also significantly affects employee performance, with ttabel (8.224 > 2.011). Conclusion— Both work discipline and work environment significantly influence employee performance at Perumdam Tirta Tarum Karawang.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This research aims to understand how leadership style can improve employee work performance at the Karawang Regency National Narcotics Agency office. Research method— The study employs a qualitative descriptive research technique. Data was collected using a triangulation strategy, incorporating multiple data sources, including observations, documentation, and structured interviews with 5 informants from various positions, including TU staff, rehabilitation staff, P2M staff, head of general subdivision, and eradication staff. Result— The findings indicate that the leaders at BNNK utilize a democratic leadership style, characterized by inclusive decision-making and open communication. This approach fosters a supportive work environment, encouraging employee participation and feedback. As a result, employee performance is reported to be fairly stable, with increased job satisfaction, motivation, and collaboration among staff. The democratic leadership style not only enhances team cohesion but also contributes to effective problem-solving and innovation within the agency. Conclusion— The application of a democratic leadership style by BNNK leaders positively influences employee performance at the National Narcotics Agency in Karawang, demonstrating that effective leadership is crucial for achieving organizational goals and maintaining high levels of employee engagement.

Abstract

Production management is the activity of planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring the efforts of the members of the organization and use of resources of other organizations in order to achieve organizational goals that have been set. Inthis activity, important for the department planning product and inventory control to play a role in the management of production in creating a product planning as well as play a role in the control of inventory. In the lecture field work, the students who participated in the lecture field work in a Pie PT Hai International Wiratama can learn about production management, in particular the role of the department planning production and inventory control inmaintaining the production process in accordance with the obligations ditentkanbased on the rules. From the results of observation and interview in the activities of the working class of this field can be seen that the product planning and inventory control in charge of keeping the stability of raw material, semi-finished materials, as well as the state and the number of finished products ready to be marketed.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study is how the influence of Corporate Culture and Training on employee performance.. Research method— The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using multiple linear regression analysis. The research data comes from primary data and data collection process with a sample size of 50 people. Result— The results of this study indicate that there is a partial influence between corporate culture on performance significantly of 0.000 <0.005 and a t-count value of 7.584> 2.011 and a partial influence between training on performance significantly of 0.000 <0.005 and a t-count value of 3.793> 2.011. Together, corporate culture and training are proven to have a simultaneous significant influence on employee performance which shows a very significant influence of 0.000 <0.005 with an F-Count value of 186.501> 3.19. Based on the results of the determination coefficient, it was found that the variables of corporate culture and training had an influence of 88.8% while the remaining 1.2% was explained by other unknown factors or variables that were not included in this regression analysis such as work discipline, work environment. Conclusion— Partially, Corporate Culture Variable (X1) has a positive and very significant influence on Employee Performance variable (Y) in Karawang MSMEs. Partially, Training Variable (X2) has a positive influence on employee performance variable (Y), which means that training variable has an influence on employee performance in Karawang MSMEs. Simultaneously, Corporate Culture Variable (X1) and Training variable (X2) have a positive and significant influence on employee performance variable (Y) in Karawang MSMEs. effectiveness. Fourth, joint testing shows that Engagement, Work Supervision and Compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted so that it can be stated that the independent or independent variable (X) has a significant effect simultaneously or together on the dependent or dependent variable (Y).

Abstract

Purpose of the study — This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk. Research method—The method used is descriptive quantitative verification with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25, involving 61 respondents. Result— The results of the study indicate that work motivation (X1) has a significant positive effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient value of 0.504, while work discipline (X2) also has a significant positive effect with a regression coefficient of 0.436. Overall, the regression model shows an R² value of 0.89, indicating that 89% of employee performance variability can be explained by the two independent variables. Conclusion— This study concludes that increasing work motivation and work discipline is very important to improve employee performance. The practical implications of this study indicate the need for companies to implement strategies to increase motivation and discipline in order to achieve optimal performance.
