Abstract

In the logistics industry, fresh food transportation requires effective management of driver fatigue to maintain safety and service quality. With the increasing digital connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) technology has become a promising solution to monitor driver fatigue in real-time. This research aims to design an adaptive IoT-based driver fatigue monitoring system specifically for fresh food transportation. Through a case study in the logistics industry, we identified specific challenges and needs in driver fatigue management. Based on the identification results, we developed a system that utilizes IoT sensors integrated in vehicles and drivers' smartphones. The system automatically monitors the driver's physical condition and behavior and provides real-time alerts if signs of fatigue are detected. With an adaptive approach, the system can customize recommendations and interventions according to the measured fatigue level. The results of the case study show that the designed system is able to reduce the risk of driver fatigue, increase transportation safety, and improve service quality in fresh food transportation. This research contributes to the practical understanding of the implementation of IoT technology in driver fatigue management, particularly in the context of the logistics and fresh food transportation industries.

Abstract

An academic information system is a system designed to process educational data. IGracias Mobile is a theoretical information system application that can be used flexibly by Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology students. iGracias aims to provide information about lectures to students. iGracias can be downloaded via google playstore. Based on a questionnaire involving students of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology, they found several problems with the iGracias application so that it could be maximized to provide lecture information to students. Based on the evaluation of the current design using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, the contemporary design has a score of 58, which is classified as grade D with a bad adjective rating, so the design needs to be improved. The method used to develop and develop the user interface design on the iGracias Mobile application is the Usability Testing method with a user-centred Design approach. The results obtained from this study are a new design for the iGracias Mobile application, which was made based on the respondents' suggestions and the steps involved in the UCD method. This research found that the new design's usability value has increased from 58 to 80.8, which is included in grade A with an adjective rating of excellent. Then the new design can overcome the problems in the iGracias Mobile application.

Abstract

Changes in consumer behavior have become a major challenge for companies in managing marketing strategies. The readiness of infrastructure and willingness to innovate have made UD. Pasindo Pustaka Mandiri require new marketing media to reach a wider sales market and adapt to current technological developments, particularly through a website. This research aims to design and build a website for UD. Pasindo Pustaka Mandiri using the Laravel framework and the design thinking methodology. The design thinking process involves five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. This method was chosen because it allows researchers to deeply understand user needs. The system development using the design thinking method resulted in a marketing website. System testing applied blackbox testing with descriptive analysis, yielding a feasibility score of 97.22%, interpreted as 'very feasible.' The System Usability Scale testing produced an average score of 74.29, falling within the Acceptability Ranges with the category 'Acceptable.' According to the grade scale, the system received a 'C' category, and in terms of adjective rating, it was rated as 'Good.' Overall, it can be concluded that the resulting website is highly feasible and acceptable to the public

Abstract

Si Cantik Bangsa is a platform that aims to record participation and equality in village development. Through this community service, the focus is emphasized on understanding the problems of women's empowerment in development in three villages, namely Logede Village, Ampelsari Village, and Kaliputih Village in Kebumen Regency. In this context, the main concern is overcoming the significant decline in the Gender Empowerment Index which is a serious challenge faced by the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD). In an effort to overcome this problem, the PMD Department introduced an innovative program known as Planning Literacy Women (WANI LEmPER) which is in line with the Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) related to gender equality and women's empowerment. However, even though the WANI LEmPER program has been implemented, there are still obstacles that arise due to cultural resistance and rejection from various parties. Therefore, this service offers a solution through the implementation of Si Cantik Bangsa, an information technology-based platform that aims to document the activities of LEmPER WANI cadres and monitor women's participation. The service results show that indicators of success have been achieved, where 65% of respondents understand the benefits and features of Si Cantik Bangsa, while 25% still do not understand them. Thus, the use of this platform is considered a strategic step in increasing women's empowerment in village development planning to achieve SDGs and Gender Empowerment goals.

Abstract

The production of water spinach vegetable crops in 2020 in Central Java ranks 2nd in water spinach production, which is 29,108 tons. The amount of water in spinach production and the increased risk of being attacked by pests and diseases will be even more significant, and proper care is needed to improve the quality of water spinach. It takes an expert to convey knowledge about controlling pests and diseases that are good and right. From these problems, we developed a system to overcome the problem of water spinach plant disease. This expert system uses the forward chaining method. The results of this study are a pest and disease diagnosis system on water spinach using a website-based forward chaining method with accuracy testing using the confusion matrix method by testing 50 rules. Of 50 data, 45 are considered appropriate, and the results of 5 rules are not relevant, so the evaluation results of this expert system produce system accuracy with a percentage of 90%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design and develop Augmented Reality-based interactive learning media for plant structure and function material using the Android-based Multimedia Development Life Cycle method. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Kutasari with research subjects of grade IV students. The application development process follows the Multimedia Development Life Cycle stages, starting from conceptualisation, design, material collection, assembly, testing, to distribution. Functionality testing using the Black Box Testing method shows that all application functions run well and as expected without any errors. Usability testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) produces an average score of 79.83%, which is included in the ‘A’ category with a feasibility level of ‘Good’ and accepted by users. This Augmented Reality application provides three-dimensional visualisation that makes it easier for students to understand the concepts taught, and also increases student interaction and involvement in the teaching and learning process. Suggestions made for further development include the implementation of this Augmented Reality application on various other learning materials in elementary schools, the addition of new features for a more diverse learning experience, training for teachers to make optimal use of the application, as well as regular evaluation and collection of feedback for improvement and development of the application.

Abstract

Human consumption of data and information has become very large due to the enormous growth of data. On the other hand, the increasing need for data visualization in various information media (online or offline) has also become very interesting. Data visualization is not only about beautifying the appearance of data but also about making data more quickly understood and engaging. Tableau specializes in data visualization, data storytelling and dashboards. Training to operate Tableau can answer the needs of pupils, students, the general public, teachers and lecturers as participants. This training aims for participants to apply interactive data visualization quickly and easily using Tableau in dashboard creation activities to explain data in visual form. The methods used in implementing this training are preparation methods and implementation methods as well as training. As a result of this training, 34 participants learned about the importance of data visualization. They learned Tableau as a data visualization tool and visualization training using Tableau to create self-ordered dashboards for examples of COVID-19 cases worldwide.

Abstract

The North Coast area of Pekalogan City is an area that has great potential for tidal flooding. Some experts say that the geographical condition of Pekalongan City has a high level of vulnerability to global warming. The high value of vulnerability is inseparable from the geomorphological conditions of Pekalongan in the form of sandy beaches and coastal erosion. Due to these conditions, Pekalongan City has become one of the areas affected by the tidal flood. The problem of tidal flooding is not a new problem for Pekalongan City, especially in the North Pekalongan part. In the design of this system will apply the agile `method. In the design of this system will apply the Agile method. In terms of software development guidelines, agile has an understanding that actively and continuously, between developers and customers must always establish good cooperation and communication. This research was conducted using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology will provide convenience and advantages in effectively identifying, mapping, and organizing data over a large area. This study aims to make it easier for the people of Pekalongan City to identify areas prone to tidal flooding. This system can open a map of tidal flood-prone areas in Pekalongan City. Based on the results of the questionnaire calculation using a Likert scale, it can be concluded that this system has a good appearance, the layout of this system is easy to understand, this system helps in getting information about the threat of tidal waves in Pekalongan City, and this system is in accordance with what respondents expected because the percentage of index value more than 80% in each question.

Abstract

Driver fatigue is a critical issue in the logistics industry, contributing significantly to accidents and operational inefficiencies. The system utilizes IoT devices, including physiological and vehicular sensors, to monitor real-time data, such as Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), and Acceleration Variance (AV). Blockchain integration ensures secure, immutable data storage and transparency, with smart contracts automating fatigue alerts and management actions. The research results show that HRV increased from 50 ms to 70 ms, reflecting better stress recovery, while AV decreased from 0.85 m/s² to 0.45 m/s², indicating more stable driving behavior. Fatigue alerts dropped by 60%, from 25 to 10 alerts per observation period, demonstrating the system’s effectiveness in early fatigue detection and prevention. The study concludes that the IoT-blockchain integration provides a robust, scalable solution for mitigating fatigue-related risks, enhancing driver safety, and fostering operational efficiency in the logistics sector.
