Abstract

Direct accidents are accidents that result in defects or damage to limbs that lead to amputation. While indirect accidents are accidents which cause one aspect of life to be disturbed, especially on economic and social aspects. Individuals who experience a traumatic event will experience different reactions whether they become worse with the conditions they experience or the individual is able to adjust to the conditions they face and rise from adversity or become strong in the face of these traumatic events. Adjustments that can make individuals able to return to normal life or become better. Copart Amputation, Copart Prosthesis, Polycentric Ankle Joint. These operating methods and techniques have not changed and are still widely used today. Copart prosthesis is an artificial foot used for amputation of the ankle. the process of making copart prosthesis includes assessment, measurement, casting, fabrication, fitting, finishing. Of all the components for copart patients, prosthetic is the most important component that can have an effect on the stability of the road pattern. Options for panel opening type design made from polypropylene or most often GRF laminated (glas reinforeced plastic). the ancient type of postesis is made of sponges and skin.

Abstract

Abstract: Transtibial Prosthesis, Walking Balance, Axilla Crutch, Post Transtibial Amputation. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of transtibial prosthesis and axial crutch on the balance of transtibial post amputation patient. This research is hoped to be beneficial to the benefit of people who have transtibial amputation in order to obtain the appropriate balance. This research method is Quantitative research, pre experiment, using research design one groups pre and post test design, where in this research there is only one group of subjects that will be measured equilibrium using prosthesis and axial crutch. Research conducted at PT. Kuspito Ortotik Prostetik. In this research, there are two variables, namely (1) dependent variable, balance, (2) independent variables are use of transtibial prosthesis and axial crutch. Data collection is done in two stages, first and second phase. In the first stage, the researcher records the client identity that has been defined as the research subject (sample), including name, gender, age, address, and examination to establish the type of patient who meets the inclusion criteria. Afterwards, measurements were made on patients using transtibial prostheses and recording the results of the treatment group in terms of their equilibrium values. In the second stage of data collection, measurements were taken in patients using axial crutch and recording the results of the treatment group in terms of their equilibrium value. The instruments used are TUG Test equipment (armrest and armrest seats, stopwatch, wall, stationery). Data were analyzed with SPSS for Win13.00 for Windows software. Test the normality of data using Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The results showed that there was a difference of effect of axial crutch with prosthesis on post amputation patient equilibrium (0,017 <0,05), it is also known that average equilibrium in group of axial crutch (18,46) while mean balance in group Prosthesis (20,84). Crutches are walking sticks, usually used in pairs that are created to regulate the balance at the time of going and sustaining the user's body. Axilla crutches are not designed to rest during support of the body. To minimize the inconvenience of using axilla crutches, a prosthesis is created which, when an amputation patient has been determined to use a prosthesis, determines the purpose of prosthetic fitting, whether functional, cosmetic or both.

Abstract

Background: The physical condition of patients with transtibial amputations affects the fulfillment of activity of daily living. Transtibial Prosthesis is used to increase the patient's activity abilities. This research is to find the effect of using transtibial prostheses on the activity of daily living. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of transtibial prostheses on the activities of daily life. Methods: This research method uses Quasi Experiment in the form of two-group post test only design. The study population was transtbial amputee at PT. Kuspito Prosthetic Orthotics. The sample in this study 40 people, namely 20 people using Transtibial Prosthesis, 20 people using Axial Crutches. The study was conducted at PT. Kuspito Prosthetic Orthotics from April to May 2019. This study used an observation sheet prepared by Kempen, et al (1996), namely The Groningen Activity Restriction Scale. Results: The normality test used is Shapiro Wilk. Mann Whitney test resuls shows an average difference of ADL between users of transtibial prosthesis users (22.40) and axillary crutch users (19.95) with a p value = 0.008 where a p value <0.05. Conclusion: So there is a difference in ADL which is statistically significant in patients using transtibial prosthesis and patients using axillary crutches. Where for transtibial prosthesis users better in ADL than axillary crutch users.

Abstract

Background: Transfemoral exoskeletal prosthesis is an isntrument intervene in the form of a prosthesis fitted outside of the body that reverses the lower limb and can replace anatomical and functional functions. It is expected to provide satisfaction of amputee patient due work related accident. Methods: qualitative type with research methods used, namely interviews and observations. Results: manufacturing process of transdemoral exoskeletal prosthesis includes assessment, measurement, casting, fabrication, fitting, finishing. Conclusions: based of obsevations, interviews and analyzes carried out on tranfemoral prosthesis users, patiens now feel pious and happy to have progress in living activities using a prosthesis.

Abstract

Background: Prosthetic Orthotics Major in Polkesta conducts online lectures in order to support government efforts in the even semester 2019/2020, starting from March 2020 until the end of the even semester. Several online applications are used in support of online lectures. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic in the orthotic prosthetic Major in Polkesta Indonesia. Methods: This is quantitative descriptive study. This research uses survey method using online Google Form questionnaire. The population is students of Prosthetic Orthotic Major, There are 322 respondents who are willing to contribute in the research. Data obtained through filling in questions that are shared with all respondents in the form of google form. Then the collected data was analyzed and described. The components contained in the questionnaire consisted of several questions, namely (1) Do you understand online learning at the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic; (2) Do you think online learning at Prosthetic Orthotic Major Polkesta was effective; (3) Which online application is used for online learning that is effective in your opinion; (4) Which online learning model do you feel effective; (5) Types of assignments that make you understand during online learning; (6) What media do you use when implementing online learning; (7) are there any obstacles when you carry out online learning (8) What obstacles do you face when implementing learning. Results: there are 67 % of students felt less effective, 14% of students felt ineffective, 20 % of students felt effective. Applications used by students and felt to be effective are Google meet, google classroom, WhatsApp Group. Learning methods using Life video conferencing are felt to be the most effective. Conclusion: Online learning process in the prosthetic orthotic major is not felt to be quite effective by students.

dalam melaksanakan aktivitas sehari-hari akan terganggu atau menurun. Selain menggunakan prosthesis, beberapa pasien post amputasi transtibial memakai kruk axilla dalam menunjang kemampuan fungsionalnya dalam beraktivitas. Untuk itu diperlukan penelitian tentang komparasi tingkat kemampuan fungsional pasien post amputasi transtibial antara pengguna transtibial prosthesis dengan pengguna kruk axilla.  Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui komparasi tingkat kemampuan fungsional pasien post amputasi transtibial antara pengguna transtibial prosthesis dengan pengguna kruk axilla. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan pra-eksperimen dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Subyek sebanyak 16 reponden dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, 8 responden untuk kelompok pengguna transtibial prosthesis dan 8 responden untuk pengguna kruk axilla dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian adalah di rumah-rumah pasien Bedside Teaching Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta 2016 di Karisidenan Surakarta dan pasien post amputasi transtibial BBRSBD Prof. Dr Soeharso Surakarta 2016-2017. Waktu pelaksanaan Mei sampai Juni 2017. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji mann whitney menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (p-value) sebesar 0,028 kurang dari α = 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti ada komparasi tingkat kemampuan fungsional antara pengguna transtibial prosthesis dengan pengguna kruk axilla dimana rata-rata peringkat hasil pengukuran kemampuan fungsional pada pengguna transtibial prosthesis 10,88 lebih tinggi dari pada rerata peringkat  pengguna kruk axilla 6,12. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan transtibial prosthesis lebih baik dibandingkan dengan penggunaan kruk axilla terhadap tingkat kemampuan fungsional pasien post amputasi transtibial.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas kaki akibat proses amputasi atau disabilitas bawaan sejak lahir di Indonesia memiliki pilihan untuk menggunakan kaki tiruan dengan sendi konvensional dan kaki tiruan dengan sendi mekanik. Sayangnya produk kaki tiruan dengan sendi mekanik masih didominasi oleh produk impor. Langkah awal dari upaya menggantikan kaki tiruan atas lutut (above knee prostheses) produk impor dengan produk dalam negeri adalah dengan melakukan penelitian mengenai jangkauan gerak (range of motion) pada sendi lutut. Range of motion (RoM) pada orang Indonesia, yang memiliki ras Mongoloid, dapat memiliki perbedaan dengan rancangan jangkauan gerak pada kaki tiruan produk impor yang telah dijual di Indonesia. Perbedaan dapat dijumpai akibat adanya perbedaan antropometri postur orang Indonesia yang diklasifikasikan sebagai ras Mongoloid dengan penduduk Eropa/Amerika yang tergolong ras Kaukasoid. Begitu juga dengan beberapa aktifitas yang dominan dilakukan oleh orang Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan data pengukuran RoM bagi orang Indonesia saat melakukan gerakan sehari-hari untuk diolah menjadi data ilmiah yang penting untuk digunakan dalam proses desain dan perancangan kaki tiruan. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan mengambil data jangkauan gerak (RoM) orang Indonesia dengan variasi: jenis kelamin, berat badan dan dua jenis gerakan. Gerakan utama yang akan diambil adalah gerakan sujud dan gerakan duduk pertama pada shalat. Hasil pengukuran jangkauan gerak lutut saat responden melakukan gerakan duduk pertama dalam salat berkisar antara 145°-160°. Rata-rata jangkauan gerak lutut saat responden adalah 152°. Hasil ini menunjukkan kebutuhan jangkauan gerak yang sangat besar pada aktifitas duduk tersebut. Data gerakan sendi lutut yang telah didapatkan akan digunakan untuk mendesain karakteristik lutut pada kaki tiruan buatan produk domestik dengan karakter gerakan orang Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract: The use of prosthesis, Social Status, Confidence. This study aimed to analyze the effect of using transtibial prosthesis (artificial leg) and social status of the self-esteem in patients post transtibial amputation. The design was observational analytic research using cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all patients who come to the post amputation Kuspito Clinic Prosthetic orthotic Karanganyar, Central Java in 2012 by using purposive sampling technique. Independent variables in this study is the use of transtibial prosthesis (artificial leg) and social status, and the dependent variable in this study is the confidence (mentioned measuring devices) patients post transtibial amputation. The first hypothesis test results indicate the probability value (p-value) of 0.000 <α = 0,05 so that H0 rejected and H1 accepted which means that there is the effect of using transtibial prosthesis (artificial leg) against the confidence in patients post transtibial amputation. The second hypothesis test indicates the probability (p-value) of 0,010 <α = 0,05 so that H0 rejected and H1 accepted which means there is the influence of social status on the convenience for patients post transtibial amputation. As well as a third hypothesis test for social status variables obtained probability value (p-value) = 0.542> α = 0.05, while for the variable use of prosthesis obtained probability value (p-value) = 0,000 <α = 0.05. Influence and the associated level of use transtibial prosthesis (artificial leg) against the confidence in transtibial amputation in patients post Kuspito Prosthetic Orthotic Clinic. There is an effect on the level of association of the social status of the self-esteem in patients post amputation transtibial Clinic Kuspito orthotic prosthetic No effect and the level of causality (causal) use of prosthesis transtibial (artificial leg) and social status to increase confidence in patients post amputation transtibial in Kuspito Prosthetic Orthotic clinic.

Abstract : Functional Ability, Transtibial Prosthesis, Axilla Crutches. Research objectives to know the patient's functional ability level comparisons of post transtibial amputation between users of transtibial prosthesis with user of axilla crutches. Research methods pre-experiment with cross-sectional approach. Subject 16 respondents divided into two groups, 8 respondents for users of transtibial prosthesis group and 8 respondents for users of axilla crutches by using purposive sampling technique. Place the patients of Bedside Teaching Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta in 2016 Karisidenan Surakarta houses and transtibial post amputation patient BBRSBD Prof. Dr Soeharso Surakarta in 2016-2017. Time May to June 2017. Data analysis hypothesis test result by using mann whitney test shows the value of the probability (p-value) of 0.028 < α = 0.05 so that H0 rejected and the H1 accepted which means thatthere is a functional ability level comparisons between users of transtibial prosthesis with users of axilla crutches where the mean rank of the functional ability of the measurement results on the user of transtibial prosthesis 10.88 is higher than on mean rank user of axilla crutches 6.12. Conclusion This study shows that the use of transtibial prosthesis is better than the use of axillary crutch on the functional ability level of transtibial post amputation patient.

Abstract

Abstract : Amputation, Stump Length, Locomotor Ability, Transfemoral Prosthesis. Transfemoral amputation is an amputation that removes part of the femur (Coletta, 2000) Classification of transfemoral amputation, short stump transfemoral is leaving less than 35% of the length of the femur. In the medium stump transfemoral leaving between 35% - 60% of the length of the femur. Long stump transfemoral remains among more than 60% of the length of the femur(Coletta, 2000). Loss of some lower extremity on the human body causes incapacity (disability) person to perform variety of activities (Bachtiar, 2014), and led to the disruption of the locomotor abilities and functional abilities of the body of the patient. (Raichle, 2008). Longer stump can improve locomotor abilities of the patient. The population in this study all patients adaah transfemoral amputation who came to Kuspito Clinic at Karanganyar, with total of 49 patients in 2015. Use of purposive sampling technique to obtained a sample of 30 patients with transfemoral prosthesis. Independent Variabel which is used in this research is the length of the stump, While Dependent Variable in this research is locomotor ability of transfemoral prosthesis patients. Hypothesis test results show the value of probability (p-value) of 0.000 <α = 0,05 so that H0 rejected and H1 accepted, which means there is a long-stump against the patient's level of ability of the locomotor pda transfemoral prosthesis users with value of correlation (r) 0.718, the interpretation is strong correlation between variable.
