Abstract

This study aims to determine the development, feasibility, educator response, learner response and effectiveness of Foldable smart board Learning Media in Solar System Material to Support Learning Interest of Grade V Students of Itik Randai State Elementary School. The research method used is R&D (research and development) and through the ADDIE development procedure which consists of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Product validation was carried out by material expert validators who stated that the Foldable smart board Learning Media product developed obtained a percentage of 89% with the interpretation criteria of “very feasible”, then the results of media expert validation stated that the Foldable smart board Learning Media product developed obtained a percentage of 100% with the interpretation criteria of “very feasible”. While the educator's response obtained a percentage value of 95%, with the interpretation criteria “very interesting”, then the response of students in the small group trial obtained a percentage value of 99%, with the interpretation criteria “very interesting” and in the field trial obtained a percentage value of 94% with the interpretation criteria “very interesting” while for the product effectiveness test in terms of assigning pretest and posttest questions obtained a percentage value of 74%, with the interpretation criteria “effective”. Development of Foldable smart board Learning Media in Solar System Material to Support Learning Interest of Grade V Students of Itik Randai State Elementary School using the research and development (R&D) research method, it can be concluded that the use of Foldable smart board learning media is very feasible and effective to use as learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent of the LKPD development process on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects material in the 5th grade of elementary school, as well as finding out the results of the analysis regarding the feasibility and response to product implementation. This research uses the ADDIE model development method which involves questionnaires, tests and several interviews in data collection. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good feasibility. This can be seen from the material expert validity test of 3.8, the language expert test of 3.7, the media expert test of 3.9 and all of them are recommended as very valid and suitable for use. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good effectiveness in learning science material on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects as assessed from the test results given. The posttest learning results achieved were very significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa masih belum maksimal, keterlibatan siswa keterlibatan cenderung pasif, kompleksitas materi yang dipelajari cukup sulit, sehingga siswa sulit untuk memahami, kurangnya kerjasama dalam belajar dan model pembelajaran NHT belum pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) atau classroom action research (CAR) yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif artinya peneliti tidak melakukan penelitian sendiri, namun berkolaborasi dengan guru yang terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 28 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS materi tumbuh-tumbuhan kelas IVA SDN 1 SegalaMider dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT). Rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik 63,57% dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan pada siklus II, pemerolehan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yaitu 72,14% dengan kategori baik. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPAS materi tumbuh-tumbuhan peserta didik kelas IV A SDN 1 SegalaMider.

Abstract

Pendampingan bagi guru-guru SD dalam membuat bahan ajar sangat penting dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkankompetensi guru dalam membuat bahan ajar berupa modul penuntun praktikum IPA untuk Sekolah Dasar. Kegiatan ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan pada guru di SD 1 Campang, Gisting, Tanggamus dalam pengembangan bahan ajar khususnya modul untuk praktikum IPA. Hal ini mengingat bahwa pembelajaran IPA membutuhkan adanya praktikum yang sesuai dengan siswa SD serta tuntutan kurikulum saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pendampingan dalam membuat modul penuntun praktikum. Metode yang digunakan pelatihan, diskusi, dan penugasan. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah guru SD Negeri 1 Campang. Dampak dari telaksananya pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan mengembangkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan dan membuat modul penuntun praktikum IPA untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop visual teaching aids on the topic of Distance, Speed and Time in Mathematics and Science lessons for Year 6 primary school pupils. This study employs a research and development (R&D) methodology comprising the stages of needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires and documentation. The research instruments consisted of an observation sheet to determine the responses of teachers and pupils, as well as an expert validation questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the expert validation of the material achieved a percentage of 84% in the ‘highly suitable’ category, whilst the expert validation of the media achieved a percentage of 94% in the ‘highly suitable’ category. Teachers’ responses to the use of the media showed a percentage of 86% in the ‘very practical’ category, and pupils’ responses achieved a percentage of 91% in the ‘very interesting’ category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the literacy corner developed is suitable and beneficial for supporting and facilitating pupils’ understanding of JKW material in Mathematics and Science lessons at primary school.
