Abstract

Abstract: Cigarette advertising A-Mild brand brings an intelligent and critical condition of society. A mild ad-was unique and entertaining. This study aimed to describe forms of diction and meaning a reference in A Mild cigarette advertising discourse of ‘Tanya Kenapa edition. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is a fragment of A Mild cigarette advertising discourse of Tanya Kenapa’ edition.The results showed that the meaning of the image and text advertisement serving A-Mild do not have ideological ties, stable and secure, even ironical. The effects of humor or absurdity resulting from distortion or play on an existing expression. Sampoerna A Mild invites customers to not hesitate be critical of the various phenomena that occur in the community. In the ads, Sampoerna A Mild cigarettes tend to avoid adverse effects for consumers so the fact that cigarettes are harmful to the health of consumers covered with critical image of attached to the text and context of advertising discourse. Keywords: critical discourse analysis, A Mild cigarette advertisement Tanya Kenapa’ edition

Abstract

The idea of mental revolution stems from peoples perceived turmoil in various spheres of life that mental revolution must be done immediately. Given, first, the failure of the New Order regime in carrying out development, which has not touched the paradigm, mindset, or political culture in the framework of nation building. Mentality problem the nation is part of the cultural issues (culture). Therefore, one way to change it must be through cultural ways as well, namely through education. Mental revolution starts from education, considering the role of education is very strategic in shaping the childs mentality of the nation. Development of culture and character of the nation is realized through the realm of education. In other words, the mental revolution must begin in the classroom, that teachers should be at the forefront in realizing these ideals. In this study are revealed various things that include the idea of the beginning of the mental revolution in this country, the mental revolution for educators: the embodiment of indonesian human self, and the character of educators; a mental revolution.

Abstract

Through this new approach of historicism, this study aims to reveal the construction of the meaning of "striving" in a new historical perspective, either by 'republican' or ruler (colonist who wants to set foot again). The novels characterized by the background during the independence war were chosen to be the primary data source in this study. The method used in the research is qualitative interpretive, namely the parallel reading between literary texts representing the history of the Indonesian struggle with historical texts depicting similar events. Data analysis techniques used are content analysis consisting of three paths, including: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the meaning of the struggle in the novel consists of two points of view, namely for the republic and ruler (colonizers: England who dibonceng NICA). From the perspective of freedom fighters, the republic considers the figures involved to show respect for the national struggle and to contribute to defending the independence already achieved. As for the opposite, for the colonizing nation (the Netherlands), struggling in that perspective is no more proper "terrorist and thief".

Abstract

This study aims to describe the shape and the social context of utterances used to express speech acts commissive intend, promise, swear, and bernadar in staging dramas Mangir Wanabaya. This study uses a pragmatic approach and sociolinguistics, hereinafter referred sosiopragmatik approach. Problem to be investigated is the use of the form and context in speech acts commissive.The form of this research is descriptive qualitative. The strategy used in this study was content analysis. Collection data techniques is to study the document. Research data collection, namely the context of noting that the use of natural language in order to reveal the intention of utterances commissive appropriately.The research proves that this form of speech acts commissive Mangir Wanabaya drama performances can be said, propositif predicate, and the context of the stated commissive. Pragmatics in the context of the study can be used as guidance for recognizing intent. Obtained commissive speech act is intended commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive promise, swear commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive bernadar.

Abstract

Abstract— This paper seeks to present a comprehensive study of the implementation of the 9-year compulsory education program and compulsory education recommendations for children and Indonesian generations. Nine Years of Basic Education Completion is a planned, comprehensive and sustainable effort. It is implemented through various policy platform that is very clear and strong, not only in order to realize the global commitment. The results show that the provision of basic education carried out by observing the conditions and the vast Indonesian territory, with a population of, background, social, economic and cultural are extremely heterogeneous. To that end, this paper explores in depth related to 1) the implementation of the Fair 9 Years; 2); evaluation of 9-year Basic Education Fair Policy; and 3) recommendations for the implementation of 12-year fair in Indonesia.Keywords—Basic Education Fair Policy, Basic Education Completion, implementation of 12-year fair Abstrak— Tulisan ini berusaha menampilkan suatu studi secara komprehensif mengenai pelaksanaan program Wajib Belajar 9 Tahun dan rekomendasi Wajib Belajar bagi anak dan generasi Indonesia. Penuntasan Wajar Dikdas Sembilan Tahun merupakan upaya yang terencana, komprehensif, dan berkelanjutan.  Hal ini dilaksanakan dengan berbagai landasan kebijakan yang sangat jelas dan kuat, bukan hanya dalam rangka mewujudkan komitemen global. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan pendidikan dasar dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan kondisi dan wilayah Indonesia yang sangat luas, dengan populasi, latar belakang, sosial, ekonomi dan budaya yang sangat heterogen. Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of word choice, cohesion and coherence as well as the grammatical elements that appear in the mobile operator's advertising discourse (Kartu As vs XL) and contextual meaning contained in the choice of Indonesian language ad words in mobile operator ads (Kartu As vs XL). Based on the analysis that has been done that the form of word choice, cohesion and coherence as well as the grammatical elements that appear in the discourse of advertisement of cellular operator (Kartu As vs XL) is including non-standard. Contextual meaning contained in the word choice discourse Indonesian language ads in the ad mobile carriers (Kartu As vs XL). Language expressed in the slogan service provider or choice of words used by the mobile operator service providers have meaning to be conveyed reflect the character of each enterprise mobile operator services.

Abstract

This research was conducted to get an in-depth explanation of: 1) the form of using alay language in association; and 2) the reasons behind the use of alay language in the language space. The study used a qualitative approach with observation with transcription steps, data classification based on domains, and analysis of language shift indicators and looking for factors that caused language shifts. The results of the study show that: 1) The characteristics of slang with the category of alay are its strange writings and beyond reason and common sense. Its existence can enrich linguistic studies. Such spelling style demonstrates full competence over Indonesian orthography. Users of the alay spelling style have practiced their spelling in its proper place in more casual language spaces, such as on social networking sites, private chats, and instant messages; 2) Alay language appears for the first time since the SMS (Short Message Service) program or short messages from operator services that charge per character tariff which serves to save costs. Educators should not need to be overly nervous because they think the development of "Alay Language" can damage Indonesian. Alay language which is widely used by the younger generation of Indonesia only has the condition that it threatens and damages Indonesian if it is used in inappropriate media. The current Alay language reflects an arbitrary, random, and arbitrary culture; up to.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan konteks sosial tuturan yang digunakan untuk menyatakan tindak tutur komisif berniat, berjanji, bersumpah, dan bernadar dalam Pementasan drama Mangir Wanabaya. Penelitian ini mempergunakan pendekatan pragmatik dan sosiolinguistik, yang selanjutnya disebut pendekatan sosiopragmatik. Masalah yang akan diteliti ialah bentuk pemakaian dan konteks tindak tutur komisif. Desain penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif. Strategi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen. Pengumpulan data penelitian, yaitu dengan simak-catat konteks penggunaan bahasa yang alamiah agar dapat mengungkap maksud tuturan komisif secara tepat. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur komisif pementasan drama Mangir Wanabaya dapat berupa kata, predikat propositif, dan konteks yang menyatakan komisif. Konteks dalam kajian pragmatik dapat dijadikan petunjuk untuk mengenali maksud. Tindak tutur komisif yang didapat adalah tindak tutur komisif berniat,tindak tutur komisif berjanji, tindak tutur komisif bersumpah, tindak tutur komisif bernadar.
