Abstract

This research aims at explaining more in-depth about Islamic hedging related to the problem of muwa’adah status in Islamic hedging. The use of muwa’adah as an Islamic hedging instrument which promises to carry out transactions in the future, actually still becomes a subject of debate since there are some different opinions about whether or not it is permissible to carry out the concept of muwa’adah in a transaction. This research is descriptive qualitative research and uses qualitative data analysis, by conducting a direct analysis of the hedging scheme through the process of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of this study reveal that in sharia hedging, swap and forward contracts should not be used, because swaps and forwards contain elements of usury. While the option contract contains speculation (maysir). If the forbidden aspects (haram) in ‘forward’ and ‘swap’ instruments are analyzed, generating al-sharf al-ajil and maysir (khathar/speculation), then the alternatives are 1) forward agreement by way of a price-fixing agreement; 2) bay’ al-iltizam; 3) bay’ al-‘urbun; and 4) al-bay’ bi al-shart.

Abstract

The purpose of literacy KKN with the ABCD approach was to help make changes in schools through the preparation of literacy programs or activities to increase reading interest as well as to increase knowledge or insight in madrasah. In addition, this activity was expected to help increase reading interest and literacy culture in madrasah and later, turn Surabaya into a literacy city. Limited resources and low participation in the learning process lead to low literacy of madrasah students. However, efforts to improve the education process are not only left to schools or the government, but other elements of society also need to be involved. This engagement process was not sufficient with the ABCD approach but requires the participation of the parties concerned, with the hope they can independently make these changes in the future. Change can be made through creativity and innovation. In this case, creativity and innovation are absolutely necessary so that the learning process is fun and increases interest in reading and writing. Keywords: Literacy, ABCD Approach, Participation

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to further analyze the effect of labor regulations in Indonesia on the provision of skilled labor and encourage entrepreneurs to provide labor in Indonesia to improve export quality. This research uses mixed methods, with a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to be able to provide results and descriptions related to the influence of labor regulations on workforce creation. This study underscores three important things. First, the understanding of business actors towards labor regulations is still low, and some do not yet know it. Second, the limited capacity of business actors (funds, time, and experts) to conduct intensive and unique training in obtaining skilled workers. Third, the government's attention to labor regulations is still relatively low. So far, the routine is the determination of the UMK every year. Overall, this study observes that no derivative regulations are applied at the local level in creating skilled workers, which causes employers to seek to provide skilled workers with available resources.

Abstract

Investment can be interpreted as an activity to invest in both money and objects in an object with the aim of obtaining profits over a certain period. Investment decisions are a very important decision in investing, where in order to get a profit we have to deal with risk, therefore investors must evaluate the relationship between return and risk. This type of research is associative. The data used is primary data obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires to 264 student respondents of the Sharia Economic Law study program of the Faculty of Sharia and legal sciences UIN SATU Tulungagung. The sampling method used by researchers in each study program is proportionate stratified random sampling. The results show that the coefficient value of the variable parameters of investment knowledge is 1.61 which means that any increase in the value of knowledge or understanding of investment will increase one's interest. in investing. This means that there is a positive linear relationship between one's knowledge and one's interest in making investments. The higher the knowledge a person knows investing, the higher one's interest in investing. The result of measuring the goodness of the model is to use the value of the coefficient of determination R2 which shows a number of 48.6%. The value can be interpreted that the model is able to explain the actual condition of only 48.6% where the remaining 51.4% of a person's interest in investing is influenced by other variables outside the investment knowledge variable..

Abstract

This paper is intended to analyze the opportunities and challenges of collaboration between the fintech industry and Islamic banking in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative study of literature review, by collecting information, identifying problems, and making evaluations. Data analysis using SWOT platform. The results of the study show there are opportunities, that the digitalization system in Indonesia is developing very quickly, so that it can be used as a means to improve services in Islamic banking. In this way, Islamic Bank services can reach remote areas, reduce costs, and increase the Islamic financial inclusion. The biggest challenge is related to regulators. The Indonesian, which is predominantly Muslim, requires definite sharia rules regarding services at several types of fintech, which until now do not have a sharia fatwa. Fintech will continue to develop, or contrary, Islamic fintech may sink and be replaced by other technological innovations.
