Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of working capital, profitability, and dividend policy on firm value in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.This study uses a quantitative approach using secondary data. This research was conducted at the representative of PT. Indonesia Stock Exchange at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Gallery located at the Faculty of Economics and Business UMI JI. Urip Sumoharjo KM. 5 Makassar South Sulawesi, carried out for approximately 2 (two) months from August to September 2023. The population in this study were food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022, totaling 47 companies. Sample selection using purposive sampling technique with several predetermined criteria, the number of samples was 10 food and beverage sub-sector companies. Data and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) program.The results of this study indicate that: (1) working capital has a significant effect on firm value; (2) profitability has no significant effect on firm value; (3) dividend policy has no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Influence of Raw Material Inventory Control has a positive and significant effect on the Production Process of Wahyu Chips Business Products in Luwuk City. The research sample was employees at Wahyu Chips Business in Luwuk City. using purpose sampling technique with a total of 30 people. Data collection methods used interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively using frequency tables and simple linear regression. The results of data processing were carried out through the SPSS version 25.0 program. From the results of the t-test, it was found that the independent variable, namely Raw Material Inventory Control (X), had an influence on the Production Process of Wahyu Chips Business Products (Y) in Luwuk City. The results of the study showed that Raw Material Inventory Control (X) had a dominant and significant influence with a coefficient value of 1.080, which means that Raw Material Inventory Control has an influence on the Production Process of Wahyu Chips Business Products in Luwuk City

Abstract

Intensifying business competition drives companies to build superior internal capabilities to sustain operations. Operations management serves as a strategic capability directly impacting competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the role of operations management as a strategic capability in enhancing firm competitiveness through cost efficiency, quality, delivery reliability, flexibility, and continuous improvement. Employing a conceptual literature review method with thematic synthesis, secondary data was gathered from Google ScholarĀ  and ScienceDirect (2015-2024 period) using relevant peer-reviewed article criteria. Findings show that operations management practices (process design, lean, quality management, TPM, productivity, supply chain integration) improve operational performance (cost, quality, delivery, flexibility), thereby strengthening competitive strategy. The main contribution is a conceptual framework along with implementation recommendations for managers.
