Abstract

The increase in road traffic has caused traffic jams in the market area of New Turi Surabaya. The traffic jams on this street were caused by visitors' exits to the Surabaya New Turi Market. In this study on traffic impact analysis was carried out to find out the performance of bridges, side obstacles, level of service in the area of New Turi Market Surabaya. This study uses the intersection method guided by the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) on Traffic Signalling Tool Abnormalities. (APILL). This research was conducted for a week in busy hours. From the results of the calculation of traffic performance, obtained the saturation degree (DJ) Highway Dupak by 0.91, Market Road Turi by 0,93, Tembaan Road by 0.89, Semarang Road by 0.091. Whereas for saturation degrees (dJ) with APILL in the conditions of existing Road Dupak By 0.93 and the average delay (T) = 36.96 seconds/skr, Market Street Turi was 0.92 and the mean delay(T) was 49.76 seconds/sk, Tembaan Street was 0.89 and the medium delay was (T)) = 40.34 seconds/kr, Semarang Street was (0.93 and average delays(T)) was (49.02 seconds/sek). The highest saturation degree (DJ) is 0.93 with the level of service (LOS) E, because the area belongs to the crowded and center of market activity and the density of traffic flows.

Abstract

Jalan ialah sarana dan prasarana yang begitu penting pada suatu sistem transportasi yang dipergunakan untuk menghubungkan satu tempat ke tempat yang lain untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan sosial, budaya dan ekonomi. Saat ini jalan raya dipergunakan sebagai prasarana transportasi yang menjadi penghubung antara daerah satu dengan daerah yang lain, maka akan diperlukan kualitas lapisan aspal yang memiliki kualitas yang baik..  Kerusakan jalan raya juga akan mengganggu pengguna jalan yang akan melintasi jalan yang rusak, faktor penyebab kerusakan jalan raya antara lain karena temperatur suhu lapisan aspal yang tidak sesuai dikarenakan terjadinya perubahan cuaca,. Misalnya gerimis dan hujan, atau pada saat pengangkutan campuran aspal kemungkinan tidak tertutup dengan terpal yang bisa mengalami penurunan suhu. Maka perlu dikaji tentang pengaruh variasi suhu pada campuran aspal AC-WC terhadap karakteristik Marshall. Pada penelitian ini yang ditinjau adalah pengaruh variasi suhu campuran aspal AC-WC terhadap karakteristik Marshall  yang meliputi Voids in Mix (VIM), Void in The Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Voids Filled Asphalt (VFA), stabilitas,  flow, dan Marshall Quotient (MQ) yang mengacu pada Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 2. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa variasi suhu benda uji, yaitu 115°C, 125°C, 135°C, 145°C, 155°C, dan 165°C. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut didapatkan kadar aspal optimum yaitu 7%, dan Nilai stabilitas yang memenuhi syarat yaitu suhu 145°C, 155°C, dan 165°C, nilai Flow, MQ, dan VMA  semua variasi suhu memenuhi syarat bina marga, nilai VIM yang memenuhi syarat yaitu hanya pada suhu 155°C, dan 165°C, nilai VFA yang memenuhi syarat yaitu hanya pada suhu 155°C, dan 165°C. Dengan hasil suhu tertinggi yaitu 165°C.

Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu bagian dari kebutuhan dan kepentingan manusia yang disebabkan adanya perpindahan obyek dari satu tempat ke tempat lain, baik berupa manusia maupun barang yang semakin harinya bertambah. Jalan merupakan prasarana perhubungan darat yang memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Kondisi jalan yang baik akan memperlancar lalu lintas barang dan jasa. Campuran aspal panas adalah komponen penunjang jalan yang banyak digunakan pada setiap jalan di Indonesia, selain itu Indonesia memiliki dua musim yaitu musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Kedua musim ini berpengaruh pada proses pemadatan campuran panas dilapangan. Dalam pelaksanaan penghamparan campuran panas dilapangan masih banyak dijumpai proses penghamparan dan pemadatan yang tetap dilanjutkan meskipun hujan sehingga banyak sekali dijumpai lapisan campuran aspal yang cepat rusak. Oleh karena itu, penelitian dengan judul “Analisa Pengaruh Perubahan Suhu Akibat Hujan Terhadap Kepadatan Aspal Pada Proyek Jalan Lingkar Selatan Sampang Madura” ditujukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lapisan campuran aspal panas AC-BC dan kepadatan yang dicapai jika pada saat proses pemadatan terkena air hujan, hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui lapisan aspal tersebut memenuhi persyaratan minimum spesifikasi teknis perkerasan jalan dan jembatan.

Abstract

Penanganan sampah di Indonesia masih menjadi masalah, di sisi lain juga terjadi kenaikan penduduk yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya volume lalu lintas. Hal tersebut dapat memicu kerusakan dini pada lapisan jalan akibat beban yang ditumpu bertambah. Dibutuhkan inovasi yang dapat mengurangi sampah plastik sebagai bahan campuran pada aspal. Penulis menambahkan bahan aditif berupa bijih plastik daur ulang jenis HDPE pada lapisan aspal jenis AC-WC. Sedangkan kandungan HDPE berkisar 0%-10% dengan interval 2% dibandingkan dengan berat KAO, yang dicampurkan menggunakan metode basah. Dari variasi nilai KAO yang digunakan, dengan analisis parameter Marshall ditentukan nilai yang optimum adalah sebesar 7,31%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar HDPE optimum berkisar 3%-9%. Ditetapkan kadar HDPE optimum dari penelitian sebesar 6%, dihitung dari nilai tengah kadar HDPE optimum. Pengaruh kandungan HDPE pada campuran AC-WC meningkatkan nilai karakteristik Marshall dan memenuhi persyaratan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bijih HDPE dari hasil daur ulang sampah layak menjadi bahan alternatif perkerasan jalan dan sebagai upaya dalam menangani permasalahan sampah di Indonesia.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is designed with regard to the load that will be received in order to achieve optimal performance throughout its service life. However, conditions in the road reveal indications of overloading by each category of vehicles, especially overload vehicles. Driyorejo industrial area road is a provincial road that connects the main industrial areas in Gresik Regency. With traffic dominated by overload vehicles, especially large trucks carrying a lot of goods, indications of damage to the pavement are becoming increasingly clear and obvious. This research aims to assess the impact of traffic load on the remaining life expectancy of flexible pavement, focusing on the load of vehicles crossing the road in the Driyorejo industrial area as the study variable. The calculation method used is the Bina Marga 2017 Method. The data used are Average Daily Traffic (LHR) data and vehicle load data. From the calculation results, the actual traffic growth (i) value is 32.7%. Vehicle overloading causes a decrease in the planned life of the road as indicated by the truck factor value of 1.06. The Remaining Life (RL) calculation represents a 14% decrease from the standard RL value of 69.3% to 55.3% under overload conditions, so it can be concluded that the overload significantly reduces the life of the road which was originally designed for 10 years to only 7 years.

Abstract

The interactions that occur between the City of Surabaya and the City of Jombang are not only influenced by economic factors, but are also influenced by social factors of life. Residents who are outside the Jombang City area will try to choose the fastest route from several routes that connect their home zone with Jombang City. This research was conducted based on factors that influence the process of choosing a travel route from Surabaya City to Jombang City using class I, class II and class III vehicles. The influencing factors are travel time and vehicle flow. The available route options are via national roads and toll roads. In this research, an analysis of route selection was carried out using the gradual loading method. The gradual loading method was chosen because it can determine the relationship between traffic flow and travel time, without depending on driver assumptions and road network characteristics. After carrying out the analysis using the gradual loading method, the wardrop balance value can then be calculated, the results of which can show that the conditions are balanced and the driver can determine which route to take. From the results of a simple linear regression analysis, a model of the flow - travel cost relationship on the Surabaya - Jombang National Road route was obtained with the equation form 55.63 + 0.031X, while on the Surabaya - Jombang Toll Road route the equation form was 32.044 + 0.024X. The wardrop balance value at a uniform fraction loading of 25% was found to be 0.18 and at a uniform fraction loading of 10% and a non-uniform fraction of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% the value was 0.03. This value is relatively small and can be interpreted that the condition is close to wardrop equilibrium.

Abstract

Damage to flexible pavements is still commonly found in Indonesia. As technology develops, there is some research regarding using iron powder as an alternative replacement material for asphalt mixtures. This research used iron powder waste as a substitute for fine aggregate in Hot Rolled Sheet–Wearing Course with levels of 0%,15%,30%, and 45%. The purpose of this research to determine the Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) and optimum percentage of iron powder waste addition as a substitute for fine aggregate to the indicator of Marshall test based on The General Specification of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2). Based on Marshall testing that has been carried out, the OAC values are 7,5% with an average of stability 2040,46 kg, flow 3,40 mm, MQ 600,24 kg/mm, voids in mix 4,69%, voids in mineral aggregate 18,30%, and voids filled with asphalt 74,39%. While the optimum percentage of iron powder value is 13% with an average of stability 2091,90 kg, flow 3,17 mm, MQ 662,79 kg/mm, voids in mix 3,92%, voids in mineral aggregate 17,59%, and voids filled with asphalt 77,72%. The result met the General Specification of Bina Marga 2018 (Revision 2). The addition of iron powder as a substitute for fine aggregate in HRS-WC is can increase stability but reduce air voids in the asphalt mixture.  This result makes the asphalt mixture more impermeable and plastic.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is the most commonly found type of road pavement in Indonesia. One asphalt mixture used in road construction is the Lataston Hot Rolled Sheet. The quality of road pavement can be enhanced by carefully selecting materials such as asphalt, aggregate, and filler. Filler plays a crucial role in asphalt pavement mixtures, and fly ash, containing pozzolanic elements, can be used as it fills voids and binds the mixture effectively. This research investigates the use of fly ash as a filler in the HRS-WC asphalt mixture, aiming to determine the optimum asphalt content, the best filler content, and the impact of fly ash as a filler on the performance of asphalt road materials in the Lataston Hot Rolled Sheet mixture (HRS-WC). The study employs the Marshall testing method in accordance with the 2018 General Bina Marga Specifications (Revision 2) The results of research on Marshall characteristics, obtained an optimum asphalt content value of 7.5% and an optimum filler content value of 1.35%. The addition of fly ash as a filler to the HRS-WC asphalt mixture increases the stability, durability and stiffness of the mixture by filling empty spaces, increasing density, reducing air voids and binding the asphalt mixture. However, excessive use of fly ash can make the mixture too stiff and reduce the flexibility of the pavement.

Abstract

Masalah di bidang transportasi sering timbul akibat pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk yang berbanding lurus dengan meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan, juga terbatasnya fasilitas transportasi. Dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut, diperlukan upaya dalam perencanaan transportasi. Permasalahan laju pertumbuhan penduduk juga berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan sistem pendidikan. Berdasarkan pola pergerakan masyarakat yang cenderung bergerak menuju pusat kegiatan yang dalam hal ini adalah perguruan tinggi, maka akan berpengaruh pula pada kinerja sistem transportasi di sekitar perguruan tinggi. Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur sebagai perguruan tinggi, telah membuka program studi baru yang ditunjang dengan pembangunan gedung baru. Adanya hal tersebut berpotensi menambah daya tampung mahasiswa. Hal ini berpotensi menimbulkan masalah lalu lintas pada ruas jalan di sekitar kampus. Maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jumlah bangkitan pergerakan mahasiswa Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur yang dihitung dengan matriks asal tujuan menggunakan metode furness yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor bangkitan perjalanan. Persamaan model bangkitan didapatkan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Dari analisis regresi linear berganda, penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil berupa persamaan model bangkitan Y = 280,429 – 11,355 X1 – 1,873 X3, dimana X1 adalah usia dan X3 adalah jarak tempuh, sedangkan perkiraan jumlah mahasiswa pada umur rencana 5 tahun adalah sebesar 30.098 mahasiswa.

Abstract

The Sidoarjo East Ring Road is one of the roads in Sidoarjo. Along it are industrial warehouses, which are the main route for heavy vehicles such as trucks carrying large commercial goods. The presence of trucks carrying large commercial goods passing through the Sidoarjo East Ring Road affects the condition of the planned road pavement. Therefore, this research needs to be carried out to find out how much influence overloading has on reducing the design life of the road. This research uses AASHTO 1993 guidelines. There are two types of data: secondary data in the form of average daily traffic and vehicle load data crossing the Sidoarjo East Ring Road and primary data in the form of average daily traffic. From the data obtained, the ESAL value, W18 value, truck factor value, and remaining life of the road plan can be calculated. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the standard ΣW18 values are 471678.71 to 3467360.95, and the ΣW18 overload in 2021 is 626066.63 to 4625156.45. If the truck factor value is >1, the Sidoarjo East Ring Road section is experiencing overload due to heavy vehicles. The percentage value of remaining life due to LHR and overload is 7.392%, and in overload conditions, there is a reduction in the planned life of the road by 0.8 years from the planned life of 5 years, where the planned life of the road will end in 2025, the second month since the road opened in 2021.
