Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of characteristics, environmental issues, and different Social Determinant of Health (SDH). Indonesia is currently the highest contributor to lymphatic filariasis cases in Southeast Asia. Mapping of lymphatic filariasis endemic areas has been carried out by the government with a management approach to eliminating lymphatic filariasis and it has the possibility of bounce back in endemic areas, lymphatic filariasis is a tropical disease that has been neglected along with the development of COVID-19, which is the government's priority so that an area-based management approach is needed. efforts to prioritize the elimination of lymphatic filariasis in Indonesia. This review aims to illustrate the region-based elimination of lymphatic filariasis in Indonesia.Abstrak: Indonesia memiliki keberagaman karakteristik, isu lingkungan, Social Determinant of Health (SDH) yang berbeda-beda. Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a smart wardrobe based on the Internet of Things (IoT) equipped with color sensors and sound sensors. This cabinet is designed to make it easier for users to organize and find the clothes they want with the help of advanced technology. The color sensor will detect the color of the garment and allow the system to suggest a combination of garments that suit the user's preferences. Meanwhile, the voice sensor allows for control of the wardrobe through voice commands, providing convenience for users to access clothes without having to open the closet door manually. This smart cabinet uses microcontroller-based hardware connected to a mobile app to manage and monitor the status of cabinets. The integrated IoT system allows the cabinet to function automatically and respond quickly to the input received from the sensors. The results of this research are expected to produce more efficient devices for organizing and searching for clothes, as well as provide a more interactive and practical user experience. In addition, by optimizing IoT technology, this research aims to introduce a more sophisticated smart home concept, with a wardrobe as one of the elements that support the ease of daily life. Abstract

The power factor cos phi measures the efficiency of using electrical power in a system. A low power factor indicates the presence of high reactive power consumption, which can lead to increased energy losses and operational costs. To overcome this problem, an effective power factor regulation system is required. This research designed and developed the Cos Phi Trainer, which operates in two modes, manual and automatic, to improve the power factor at an electrical load. The system is designed to give users a practical understanding of measuring and improving power factors by setting up compensation capacitors. In manual mode, the user directly sets the value of the capacitor used to fix the power factor. While in automatic mode, the system uses current and voltage sensors to measure the power factor value in real-time and automatically adjusts the capacitor to achieve the optimal power factor. The trainer has an easy-to-use interface and a measurement panel that displays important parameters such as current, voltage, active power, reactive power, and power factor. The test results show that the system can significantly increase the power factor in manual and automatic modes. Thus, this Cos Phi Trainer is an effective tool for training in the laboratory of Indorama Engineering Polytechnic and teaching about electrical power management and energy loss reduction in the electrical system.   Keywords: Power factor, manual, active power, reactive power, trainer

Abstract

Rats are carriers and breeding grounds for a variety of parasites. The existence of a large population of rats can cause zoonotic diseases. This research is a survey and identification of the presence of rats in the Tarakan Class II Port Health Office Juwata Tarakan Airport and Port Working Area as an effort to prevent zoonotic disease caused by rat vectors. This research is descriptive with quantitative data types, measuring the presence of rats for 4 days and identification of rat species using survey and observation data collection methods. The results showed that the rats caught were still in low numbers with the types of rats caught being Rattus rattus and Rattus novergicus. Observation of the area showed that poor sanitation conditions, the density of piles of goods, sewerage, and the distance between the trash can and the canteen were opportunities for rats
