Abstract

Abstrak: Modul Mata kuliah Pembentukan Logam yang tersedia selama ini berbentuk modul cetak yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam menyajikan konten, dimana langkah kerja pembentukan logam hanya disajikan dengan gambar.  Dengan adanya teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), memungkinkan untuk mengembangkan  modul cetak menjadi modul elektronik (e-module), mengingat e-modul pembentukan logam saat ini belum tersedia.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas e-modul berbasis flipbook pada matakuliah pembentukan logam  yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4-D, yaitu melalui tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate.  Dilakukan uji validitas e-modul oleh ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli media pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk uji validitas dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket.  Kriteria uji validitas oleh ahli pada e-modul menggunakan skala likert,  dengan  nilai  kategori  yaitu  5 ( sangat baik), 4 (baik), 3 (cukup baik), 2 (kurang) dan 1(sangat kurang), yang dianalisis secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai validitas ahli materi 90,7%, ahli desain pembelajaran  90,5%, dan ahli media pembelajaran 88,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulakan bahwa e-modul pembentukan logam yang dikembangkan sangat valid untuk dideseminasikan. Kata kunci : validitas, e-modul, flipbook, pembentukan logam, 4-D Abstract: The available metal forming course modules are printed modules, where metal forming work steps are only presented with pictures. With the existence of information and communication technology (ICT), it is possible to develop printed modules into electronic modules (e-modules), considering that metal forming e-modules are not currently available. This study aims to determine the validity of flipbook-based e-modules in metal forming courses which were developed using the 4-D model, namely through the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The e-module validity test was carried out by material experts, learning design experts and learning media experts. The data collection technique for the validity test was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Criteria for due diligence by experts on e-modules using a Likert scale, with category values of 5 (very good), 4 (good), 3 (good enough), 2 (poor) and 1 (very poor), which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the validity of material experts was 90.7%, instructional design experts 90.5%, and instructional media experts 88.3%. Abstract

The goal of this research was to determine the heat resistance behavior of polymer composite fiber boards with oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) fillers as influenced by mass density and water absorption, with the hope that partition boards with OPEFB fiber fillers could reduce the heat entering the room from outside vines through directly exposed walls. The partition board under discussion is a heat insulator with a thermal conductivity test impacted by the mass density of the composite. The test method used is ASTM-C-177-2013, which consists of measuring heat propagation by modifying a 40-watt heat source and testing specimens from polymer composite partition boards formed based on standards obtained from partition forming boards with a matrix of polyester resin SHCP 2667 WNC fraction weight with a fiber weight ratio of 25 wt.%, 30 wt.%, and 35 wt.% randomly arranged (chopped strand mat/CSM). The highest thermal conductivity value was observed in a 25 wt.% fiber weight ratio of 0.141 W/m.oC at a void percentage of 7.65% for a 5 minutes test time; 0.146 W/m.oC for a 10 minutes test time; 0.151 W/m.oC for 15 minutes test time at a mass density of 1.16 gr/cm. While the 35 wt.% fiber weight ratio has the lowest thermal conductivity value of 0.137 W/m.oC at a void percentage of 4.24% for a 5 minutes test time; 0.142 W/m.oC for a 10 minutes test time; and 0.147 W/m.oC for a 15 minutes test time at a mass density of 1.24 gr/cm3 and a water absorption capacity of 3.75%. According to the investigation’s findings, the higher the water absorption capacity, the higher the thermal conductivity of the partition board, and the higher the mass density, the lower the thermal conductivity. As a result, the lower the value of the thermal conductivity of the partition board, the better the insulating properties.

Abstract

People consider rice husks as agricultural waste. In Deliserdang Regency, in one year's period, 12,600 tons of ash are collected from the burning of around 70,000 tons of rice husk. The synthesis of zeolite from ash of rice husks was carried out by starting process of forming sodium silicate and aluminate compounds through the reaction with Al2O3 and NaOH in water on the room temperature for 10 hours. The results of reaction is refluxed at 70 C for 3 hours. After being stored for around 12 hours at room temperature, the reflux process was continued at 120 C for 8 hours. Infrared spectra of zeolite show an infrared absorption band in the area of around 440; 606; 745; and 1007 cm-1 which is the typical infrared absorption of zeolite X. This is supported by the XRD diffractogram with the diffraction peaks at 2 degree of 12.34; 17.51; 21.53; 27.90; 28.50 and 33.22 degrees.

Abstract

UMKM Tempe di Desa Sei Mencirim merupakan satu diantara pengusaha tempe rumahan. Dalam menjalankan usahanya, UMKM Tempe memproduksi tempe secara manual. Imbasnya, kualitas tempe rendah karena masih terdapat kulit ari kedelai yang dapat menyebabkan protein tempe menurun. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk UMKM Tempe melalui pelatihan menggunakan mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini mencakup presentasi, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan unjuk kerja. Tahap kegiatan mencakup tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan dapat dikatakan efektif karena telah mencapai tujuan pelatihan dimana peserta telah dapat memproduksi tempe menggunakan mesin. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai dari semua aspek pelatihan adalah baik dengan nilai sebesar 3,86. Pelatihan dengan menggunakan mesin pengupas kulit ari kedelai yang sesuai kebutuhan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk tempe.
