Abstract

ABSTRAK : Prediabetes merupakan prakondisi Diabetes dengan risiko absolut DMT2 sebesar 2-10kali. Diabetes merupakan faktor risiko penyakit Jantung dan Stroke yang merupakan penyebab utamakematian di Indonesia. Diabetes dapat dicegah dengan memperbaiki pola makan dan pola latihan fisikpenyandang Prediabetes. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran model pemberdayaanpenyandang Prediabetes yang dapat memperbaiki pola makan dan pola latihan fisik di Wilayah kerjaPuskesmas Cimahi Utara, Kota Cimahi Tahun 2011.Jenis dan disain penelitian adalah studi kualitatifdengan disain fenomenologi. Responden berjumlah 18 orang, terdiri dari penyandang prediabetes,kader, perawat, kepala puskesmas dan kasie p2p. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan carawawancara mendalam dan diskusi kelompok terfokus dan pengolahan dan analisis datamenggunakan pendekatan Collazii. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan belum dijumpai modelpemberdayaan yang sedang atau yang akan digunakan dalam meningkatkan pola makan dan polalatihan fisik penyandang prediabetes. Kegiatan pengendalian penyakit prediabetes baru pada tahapdeteksi faktor risiko dengan skrining glukosa darah pada penduduk yang berusia diatas 18 tahun.Direkomendasikan agar dikembangkan model pemberdayaan pasien prediabetes yang sesuai dengansituasi dan kondisi sumber daya yang ada di masyarakat serta melibatkan masyarakat secaramaksimal.

Abstract

The need for air pollutant monitoring system is very substantial especially in the developing countries such as Indonesia. In this research, we have performed a test of such system for carbon monoxide gas based on wireless sensor network (WSN) using ZigBee. This system is working with a mesh topology where each sensor node can communicate with one another. There are seven nodes that serve as sensor nodes and one node serving as Coordinator. Each sensor node has five components that represent of gas sensors. We measure three performance metrics during the test, i.e. throughput, delay, and packet loss. The system has been successfully implemented which is capable of displaying information in real time. The experiment resulted in an average carbon monoxide value of 25.1 ppm and showed a good performance. It showed a throughput more than 1.017 kbps, delay and packet loss ratio less than 409 ms and 5 %, respectively.

Abstract

The economic conditions of salt farmers and the quality of their salt often put them in a weak bargaining position, so the price of salt at the farmer level is low. Small-scale consumption salt processing machines need to be designed to increase the value of salt so the welfare of salt farmers can increase. This study aims to design a salt washing machine to increase the NaCl content and remove other impurities such as CaSO4, MgSO4, MgCl2 and others. The machine is designed with stirrig system by maintaining the baume value in mixture of salt and brine at a value of 25-280Be. The machine is equipped with a baume sensor to control the brine baume value. The variable of washing time is varied to produce the best salt quality. This research has designed a two-level salt washing machine with a 0Be controll system that can wash salt with brine in 50 kg/hours capacity. This machine washes the salt in 2 step process. Salt washing machine driven by a 1.5 HP electric motor to stir the salt with brine so it can dissolve the impurities and retain the NaCl in crystal form. The purity of NaCl in salt increased by 7.5% after being washed for 20 minutes.

Abstract

Mangga memiliki ukuran dan bobot yang berbeda. Terkadang para petani masih menggunakan cara manual dalam membedakan mutu mangga. Cara manual sering kali tidak akurat dan konsisten dikarenakan setiap manusia memiliki persepsi masing-masing. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut telah dirancang sebuah mesin sortasi mangga menggunakan teknik pengolahan citra. Penelitian ini dimulai dari pengumpulan informasi parameter mutu buah mangga serta mempelajari konsep pengolahan citra dalam proses penentuan mutu dan sortasi buah. Penelitian ini hanya difokuskan pada parameter dimensi dan bobot. Pengelompokan buah mangga menggunakan bobot dilakukan berdasarkan statistik sampel buah mangga yang digunakan. Mangga dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok yaitu A, B, dan C. Kelompok A dengan bobot mangga lebih besar dari 350 g, B dengan bobot mangga antara 200 g – 350 g, dan C dengan bobot kurang dari 200 g. Ruang pengambilan citra didesain tertutup dan dilengkapi sistem akuisisi citra menggunakan webcam dengan resolusi 3 Megapixel sehingga mampu menghasilkan citra sebesar 352 x 288 pixel. Citra dipetakan ke dalam koordinat dua dimensi yang setiap titiknya terdiri dari satu pixel menggunakan komponen frame grabber. Pengujian menggunakan sampel mangga sejumlah 100 kg secara acak. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hubungan jumlah pixel terhadap luas permukaan buah mangga diperoleh bahwa algoritma pengolahan citra yang dibuat telah mampu menduga luas permukaan mangga dengan R2 sebesar 0,99 dan nilai RSME sebesar 0,19 cm2. Hasil pengujian korelasi dimensi dan bobot mangga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang berbanding lurus. Meskipun demikian, pendugaan bobot dengan metode ini dapat dikatakan memiliki hasil R2 hanya sebesar 0,76 dan nilai RSME sebesar 26,53 g.

Abstract

The salt washing unit is part of the salt processing machine. This unit's function is to wash raw salt with brine. This unit has a motor, agitator blade, washing chamber, and frame. The frame structure strength of the salt washing unit needs to be evaluated to ensure safety. This research aims to design the salt washing unit and obtain simulation results of frame structure strength to ensure the safety of the salt washing unit. This research was carried out by simulation to look for stress, strain, and changes in the shape of objects (displacement). The frame strength simulation was carried out using Solidwork software. The salt washing unit with a 50 kg/hour capacity has been designed. It has a cylindrical shape with 990 mm in height and 680 mm in diameter. From the simulation results of strain, it can be concluded that the minimum point is 1.80 × 108 Mpa, and the maximum point is 1.63 × 105 Mpa. From the simulation results of displacement, it can be concluded that the minimum point is 0 mm and the maximum point is 2,296 mm. The maximum stress is 5.254×106 N/m2, and the minimum stress point is 1.803×106 N/m2.

Abstract

The title of this research is The Application of Digital Learning Media Through Mentimeter in Increasing Motivation to Learn Arabic in Class XI Religion Students at MAN 2 Ciamias. Applying digital technology can help develop learning skills as well as make learning fun, flexible, participatory, and motivating. Therefore, innovative learning methods with the help of media are essential for the learning process to be interactive and interesting. Thus increasing student learning motivation, among the digital learning media that attracted student attention is the Media Mentimeter. This research aims to learn about the application of digital media through Mentimeters and to understand the learning motivation of students when the media is applied in the learning of Arabic for students of Class XI Religion at MAN 2 Ciamis. The methodology used in this study uses mixed methods. (metode campuran). The results of this study show the application of digital media Effect metering, Effect Metering significantly improves the level of student involvement, improves student understanding of learning material, creates a conducive and supportive learning environment. The student's learning motivation rate was very high with a presentation of 86.90%, students showed a high interest in interactive learning with Mentimeter, felt satisfied with active participation, students engaged in the learning process, increased confidence in understanding the Arabic language material and interest in learning activities using digital media.

Abstract

Active smokers are people who smoke cigarettes directly, while passive smokers are people who do not inhale cigarettes directly, but inhale cigarette smoke emitted from people who are smoking. One of the toxic heavy metals found in cigarettes is arsenic. Tobacco is the main component of cigarettes that contain many chemicals, including arsenic. Arsenic can be found in tobacco due to several factors, namely soil characteristics, water, phosphate fertilizer, environmental factors, and types of pesticides. This study aims to determine the differences in blood arsenic levels in active and passive smokers using the Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometry (ICP - MS) method. The number of samples in this study was 30 samples; 15 blood samples of active smokers and 15 blood samples of passive smokers. The examination of arsenic levels was carried out at the West Java Provincial Health Laboratory. Based on the data, it was found that in the active smoker group, the average arsenic level was 0.53 μg/dL. While in passive smokers, the average arsenic level was 0.49 μg/dL. Then the Independent Sample T-Test test was conducted to determine the difference between the two groups of variables and the results were obtained p>0.05, based on these results there was no significant difference between arsenic levels in the blood of active smokers and passive smokers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of pesantren haul traditions on the income growth of local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with a case focus on Pesantren Gentur in Cianjur Regency, Indonesia. The haul tradition is viewed not only as a religious activity but also as a socio-economic phenomenon that has a significant impact on the surrounding community. A quantitative approach with an explanatory design was employed. Primary data were collected through surveys and interviews with 111 MSME actors around Pesantren Gentur and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results reveal that the pesantren haul tradition has a positive and significant effect on MSME income growth, with a path coefficient of β = 0.843, T-statistic = 27.710, and p < 0.001. The structural model explains 71% of the variance in MSME income growth with a substantial effect size (f² = 2.451) and strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.593). These findings confirm that pesantren haul functions not only as a spiritual event but also as a local economic driver. The implications suggest that better management of haul traditions is essential to optimize economic benefits for MSMEs without diminishing their religious values. Local governments and pesantren managers are expected to synergize in supporting infrastructure, event governance, and MSME empowerment. Future studies are recommended to expand the scope to pesantren in other regions and to integrate variables such as MSME digitalization to enrich the analysis of religious tradition-based economic development.

Abstract

Educational policy serves as a strategic foundation in national development, as it directly influences the quality of human resources produced. This article comprehensively examines three key aspects within the realm of public policy, namely problem formulation, educational policy formulation, and policy adoption. The method employed in this study is a literature review. In the problem formulation stage, emphasis is placed on the importance of accurately and systematically identifying issues so that the resulting policies are relevant to societal needs and capable of addressing contemporary challenges. Furthermore, policy formulation is analyzed by considering the role of internal and external factors, the application of policy theories, as well as the contributions of various actors involved in the process of drafting and establishing educational policies. In terms of policy adoption, this article reviews best practices from countries with excellent education systems, such as Finland, Japan, and South Korea, while also exploring the potential for their implementation in the Indonesian context. The integration of these three aspects is expected to foster educational policies that are more adaptive, democratic, inclusive, and oriented toward the sustainable improvement of human resource quality.
