Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out more about how student management at Al-Hijrah Islamic Junior High School can help improve student discipline. This study used a qualitative methodology with a descriptive qualitative approach. The researcher used observation, interview, and documentation methods to collect data for this study. Data analysis began with data collection, reduction, storage, and verification. The researcher also used data triangulation methods to ensure that the data was correct. This study shows that student management at Al-Hijrah Islamic Junior High School includes planning, acceptance, grouping, attendance, training, class promotion, transfer, graduation, alumni, extracurricular activities, and services. To maintain student discipline, there are rules and regulations. Students who violate the rules or regulations will be assessed through a point weighting system. To improve student discipline, there are student guardian meetings, stamped work agreements, student grouping based on supervising teachers, student attendance lists, letters of reprimand or warning, letters of permission to leave lessons, and security guard permit cards. Students work together with the person in charge of each planned activity when doing it. Some of the services offered by the school include health services, library, guidance counseling, transportation, and canteen to help student management. Students must obey school rules to improve discipline. if students violate school rules, they will get points. Each violation is given different points, and students will be returned to others after getting 100 points.

Abstract

The nature of knowledge is one of the central themes in philosophy, which discusses the origins, structure and validity of human knowledge. This study outlines the concept of knowledge as justified true belief and explores challenges to this definition, including skepticism, relativism, and the Gettier problem. Classical epistemological approaches, such as rationalism and empiricism, are discussed in relation to how humans acquire knowledge, while constructivism and phenomenological perspectives add a contemporary dimension to this debate. Figures such as Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Kant, and Quine provide an important philosophical basis for understanding knowledge in various contexts, including the role of reason, sensory experience, and social construction. This article also highlights how the development of modern science changes the way we view knowledge, especially in terms of scientific methods, intersubjective truth, and empirical validation. By reviewing the interaction between traditional theories and modern challenges, this article aims to provide comprehensive insight into the complex nature of knowledge. This understanding is relevant not only for philosophical studies, but also for answering fundamental questions in human life, ethics, and scientific progress in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low student learning motivation and less than optimal teacher skills in implementing the learning model at SDN Cinunuk 01 Bandung. This research aims to measure the level of student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially the historical material Getting to Know Khulafaurrasyidin, by applying the Talking Stick cooperative learning model. Apart from that, this research also aims to determine the differences in learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample involved class V-B as the experimental class and one other class as the control class. The results showed that students' learning motivation in the control class did not experience a significant increase and remained at a moderate level. Before the treatment, the average score for learning motivation was 120.77, while after the treatment it increased to 141.63. The learning motivation of students in the experimental class increased significantly to reach a high level. Before treatment, the average score for learning motivation was 121.20, and after being given the Talking Stick cooperative learning model, it increased to 157.80 and the effectiveness of increasing learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class was proven through t test analysis. The analysis results show that the calculated t value is greater than the t table (15.492 > 2.002), so that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This indicates that there is a difference in the average post-test learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. From the research results, it can be concluded that the Talking Stick cooperative learning model is effective in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially in the Getting to Know Khulafaurrasyidin material.

Abstract

Di antara faktor penyebab terjadinya dekadensi moral peserta didik adalah minimnya keteladanan dari orang tua, guru, individu dan komunitas masyarakat, dan para pemimpin. Era supra informasi ini pun memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan, sebab peserta didik dihadapkan pada peniruan melalui media masa dan elektronik, dan termasuk manusia mempunyai fitrah ghazirah yang cenderung meniru orang lain. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman mendalam tentang konsep dan hakikat uswah hasanah dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam sudah menjadi suatu keniscayaan dikuasai yang kemudian diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep uswah hasanah (keteladanan yang baik) menjadi salah satu komponen inti dalam transformasi konten pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan pada Q.S. Al-Ahzab: 21 dan hadis bahwa akhlak Rasulullah saw. adalah Alquran. Uswah hasanah dianggap sebagai metode pendidikan Islam yang paling efektif dan berpengaruh pada kebiasaan, sikap, hingga menjadi tindakan. Urgensi konsep uswah hasanah dalam kehidupan adalah sebagai bukti ketaatan pada Allah dan Rasulullah saw. Dan bangsa yang berperadaban baik dimulai dari individu yang baik. Adapun pengembangan model penanaman nilai karakter melalui peneladanan dapat dilakukan dengan keteladanan dan pembiasaan baik yang disengaja ataupun tidak. Serta, implikasi pedagogi metode uswah hasanah ini  menunjukkan bahwa pendidik adalah pewaris pada nabi, pendidikan adalah uswah hasanah, dan keteladanan itu dimulai dari diri sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the implementation of the bai'at habituation program as an effort to develop the religious character of students at MA Persis 84 Ciganitri, Bandung Regency. The program aims to shape students' character to exhibit Islamic morals (akhlaqul karimah) through the internalization of Islamic values conducted routinely. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach, employing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. The findings reveal that the management of the bai'at habituation program involves four key stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. Factors influencing the program's effectiveness include active involvement of program managers, facility support, and student participation. The program's impact includes increased religious awareness and discipline among students in their daily lives. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of moral and Faith-based education by proposing a structured habituation strategy as an effective step to enhance students' character quality. The bai'at habituation program is designed to serve as an exemplary framework for other educational institutions to follow in fostering a generation that is faithful, devout, and morally upright. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program pembiasaan bai’at sebagai upaya pengembangan keberagamaan santri di MA Persis 84 Ciganitri, Kabupaten Bandung. Program ini bertujuan membentuk karakter santri yang berakhlakul karimah melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Islami yang dilakukan secara rutin. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa manajemen program pembiasaan bai’at melibatkan empat tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas program meliputi keterlibatan aktif pengelola, dukungan fasilitas, serta partisipasi santri. Dampak yang dihasilkan mencakup peningkatan kesadaran religius dan kedisiplinan santri dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini berperan signifikan dalam memperkaya wawasan dan pengembangan di bidang Pendidikan baik moral dan agama dengan mengusulkan strategi pembiasaan yang terstruktur sebagai langkah efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas karakter peserta didik. Program pembiasaan bai’at diharapkan dapat berfungsi sebagai contoh atau pedoman bagi institusi pendidikan lainnya dalam upaya pembentukan generasi muda yang taat beragama, bertakwa, dan memiliki akhlak yang baik. Kata Kunci: Pembiasaan bai’at, keberagamaan santri, karakter Islami, pendidikan moral, dan manajemen program.

Abstract

The deep learning instructional model, as proposed by Abdul Mu’ti, emphasizes mindful, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experiences. This approach not only encourages students to memorize but also to deeply understand and internalize knowledge, thereby enhancing critical thinking, independence, and active engagement in the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of the deep learning model in primary and secondary education in Indonesia through a literature review method. Based on an analysis of various academic sources and recent educational policies, it was found that this model holds significant potential for improving learning quality and fostering a more reflective and collaborative learning environment. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and the dominance of traditional curricula that restrict learning flexibility. This article recommends strengthening teacher capacity through continuous professional development, providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, and developing policies that support the adoption of deep learning approaches. With the right support, deep learning can become a strategic educational approach to enhance the quality of education in Indonesia and to shape a generation that is adaptive and competitive in the global era.

Abstract

Educational policy serves as a strategic foundation in national development, as it directly influences the quality of human resources produced. This article comprehensively examines three key aspects within the realm of public policy, namely problem formulation, educational policy formulation, and policy adoption. The method employed in this study is a literature review. In the problem formulation stage, emphasis is placed on the importance of accurately and systematically identifying issues so that the resulting policies are relevant to societal needs and capable of addressing contemporary challenges. Furthermore, policy formulation is analyzed by considering the role of internal and external factors, the application of policy theories, as well as the contributions of various actors involved in the process of drafting and establishing educational policies. In terms of policy adoption, this article reviews best practices from countries with excellent education systems, such as Finland, Japan, and South Korea, while also exploring the potential for their implementation in the Indonesian context. The integration of these three aspects is expected to foster educational policies that are more adaptive, democratic, inclusive, and oriented toward the sustainable improvement of human resource quality.
