Abstract

A tracer study is a study conducted to determine the level of market absorption of graduates, the number of graduate unemployed, the suitability of subject matter to field needs, and the need for curriculum revision or renewal. The Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) study program requires data for this purpose. Among them are graduates who work in the formal sector (teachers, lecturers, administrative staff, employees in business and industry, etc.) and in the informal sector. The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the extent of the absorption rate of PGSD S1 alumni in the job market. (2) Knowing the percentage of alumni waiting period before getting a job. (3) Obtaining data about the suitability of the ongoing curriculum with field needs. The results of this tracing study indicate that the absorption rate of PGSD S1 graduates in the job market is 87.92%. The waiting period for PGSD undergraduate graduates to get a job is 42.10% getting a job before graduating and on average it takes 3 months to get a job. The conformity between the subject matter and the field needs of elementary school teachers was 67.16% alumni. Among them are working as civil servants (government agencies) as teachers, as teachers in private schools. The alumni assessment is seen from several aspects, including: ethics, expertise in the field of science, foreign language skills, communication skills, teamwork, ability to develop themselves and the ability to use information technology. From all aspects the average rating given is good. The highest level of competence mastered by alumni at graduation (85.1%) is the ability to continue learning all the time and the lowest (69.25%) is the ability to speak English. One suggestion that can be put forward is about improving English language skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) struktur cerita sambung Rembulan Wungu karya Ardini Pangastuti yaitu: tema, tokoh dan penokohan, alur, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa; (2) nilai pendidikan moral dalam cerita sambung Rembulan Wungukarya Ardini Pangastuti dalam majalah Djaka Lodang. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah cerita sambung Rembulan Wungu karya Ardini Pangastuti. Objekpenelitian berupa struktural dan nilai pendidikan moral dalam cerita sambung Rembulan Wungu karya Ardini Pangastuti dalam majalah Djaka Lodang. Teknik pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik pustaka lan teknik catat. Instrumenpenelitian yang digunakan yaitu kartu data dan peneliti sendiri. Teknik keabsahan data penulis menggunakan teknik validitas semantis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Penyajian hasil analisis menggunakan teknik informal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) struktur cerita sambung Rembulan Wungu yaitu, (a) tema yaitu“keluarga yang belum mempunyai keturunan”; (b) alur yaitu alaur maju; (c) tokoh terdiri dari tokoh utama yaitu Atikah dan Mahendra, tokoh tambahan yaitu Erik, Tante Lisa, Gilar Mahentika, Mbok, Dokter Harna; (d) latar terdiri dari latar tempat yaitu di rumah Atikah, ruang praktek Dokter Harna, resto kemuning, di buthik milik Atikah, villa dan mal, latar waktu terdiri dari pagi hari, siang hari dan malam hari, lan latar sosial terdiri dari rendah, menengah, dan tinggi; (e) sudut pandang personal pertama gaya “aku”; (f) gaya bahasa metonimia lan hiperbola. (2) nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam cerita sambung Rembulan Wungu yaitu nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhanyaitu percaya terhadap kemurahan Allah Swt, pasrah, berdoa kepada Allah;  hubungan manusia dengan manusia yaitu cinta kasih terhadap ibu besan, cinta kasih terhadap istri, cinta kasih terhadap anak;dan hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri yaitu khawatir, kesepian, gelisah, setia, dan merasa bersalah.   Kata kunci: struktural objektif, Rembulan Wungu

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif dalam menemukan kalimat utama di SDN Mranggen 2. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dalam bentuk True Experimental Design dengan desain Control Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN Mranggen 2  tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel yang diambil adalah 33 siswa kelas IV A dan 33 siswa kelas IV B dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan hasil tes siswa yang mendapat strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity yaitu dari 33 siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 31 siswa atau 93,94% mencapai KKM sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 2 siswa atau 6,06%. Siswa yang tidak menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity dari 33 siswa hanya 25 siswa atau 75,76% yang mencapai KKM sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 8 siswa atau 24,24%. Hasil analisis uji T diperoleh thitung = 5,0617 dan perhitungan ttabel yaitu 2,000. Karena thitung ttabel yaitu 5,0617 2,000 maka sesuai dengan rumusan hipotesis yang diujikan, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, kesimpulan bahwa strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif dalam menemukan kalimat utama.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya guru dapat menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity untuk diterapkan dalam Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pokok bahasan yang lain. Dengan penelitian eksperimen ini, diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan strategi DRTA dalam menemukan kalimat utama dengan bantuan PPT agar pembelajaran lebih menarik dan efisien.Kata Kunci: Strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity, Membaca Intensif, Kalimat Utama

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the use of 2013 Curriculum report application for Elementary School teachers in Wonopringgo District, Pekalongan Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research with purposive sampling sampling technique. That is by collecting data through interviews, distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) and filling out observation sheets. The subjects of this study were teachers of class I, III, and IV SDN 01 Rowokembu, SDN 01 Wonopringgo, SDI Terpadu Gondang, SDN 02 Sastrodirjan, SDN 02 Galang pengampon, SDN Surobayan. The results of this study indicate that the use of the 2013 Curriculum report card application is actually not required or required by the central government (Ministry of Education and Culture). Existing applications are applications for individual projects or groups of people. The average Primary School teacher in Wonopringgo District has used the application either independently or with the help of other teachers. From the distribution of questionnaires, the results showed that the report card application was suitable for use by elementary schools throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the lack of use of learning media, especially in natural and social science materials (IPAS). This results in students being less motivated to learn. The purpose of this research is to produce Android-based biodiversity learning media that is valid and practical for grade 5 elementary school students. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The samples in this study were teachers and 5th grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sidomulyo.The results of the study state that biodiversity learning media are valid and practical. Media validity is obtained from media expert validation 94% and material expert validation 92%. The practicality of the media is obtained from teacher respones 96% and student respones 86%. Based on the research, this media can be used as an alternative interactive learning media in schools.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of diorama learning media in improving students' learning outcomes in the hydrological cycle material in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) grade IV SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Theoretical framework: This research is based on Edgar Dale's theoretical framework, which states that the use of concrete media provides a richer learning experience and improves students' understanding of abstract concepts. In this context, diorama media is considered to be able to present a three-dimensional visualization of the water cycle process, thus making learning easier to understand and interesting for elementary school students. Literature review:  A literature review shows that concrete media such as dioramas can increase learning effectiveness by stimulating multisensory learning activities and building a more meaningful understanding. In addition, the use of media that is by the characteristics of students can increase motivation, involvement, and absorption of the material. Methods: The research method used is quasi-experimental with a Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 27 students of grade IV A. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests and paired sample t-tests. Results: The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, namely the average pretest score of 44.07 increased to 55.22 in the posttest, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). Implications: The implications of this study show that diorama media can be an effective learning solution for abstract materials, especially at the elementary education level. Novelty: this research lies in the application of diorama media as a concrete tool in science learning that combines science and social concepts, as well as empirically testing its effectiveness in the context of public elementary schools with limited resources.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive mathematics learning media based onArticulate Storyline 3 on spatial material for fifth grade elementary school students.The background to this research is students&#39; low understanding of thecharacteristics of spatial structures due to learning which is still conventionalwithout the support of interesting media. This research uses the Research andDevelopment (R&amp;D) method with the ADDIE development model which includesfive stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The datacollection instrument is a validation sheet whose validity has been tested by mediaexperts and material experts. The practicality test is in the form of a teacherresponse questionnaire and a student questionnaire to measure the practicality ofthe media that has been developed. The validation results show that the mediaobtained an average score of 0.71 (valid), and the material obtained a score of0.89 (very valid). Meanwhile, the practicality of the media based on studentresponses reached 84.16% (very practical) and teachers 100% (very practical).Thus, the interactive learning media & "BARUNG"; is declared valid, very practical,and suitable for use as an alternative in learning mathematics for class Vclassroom materials.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah buku ajar dan PowerPoint sederhana yang banyak berupa tulisan sehingga proses pembelajaran membosankan dan tidak tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran IPAS. Maka dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis PowerPoint pada pembelajaran IPAS. Peneliian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis hasil penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi serta respon guru dan perserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis PowerPoint dan berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan hasil validasi ahli materi dengan jumlah skor 46 dan persentase 88% yang dinilai berdasarkan aspek relevansi materi, penyajian materi, kebahasaan, serta kemutakhiran materi dan kriteria sangat layak oleh ahli materi dan memperoleh jumlah skor sebanyak 72 dengan persentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli media berdasarkan aspek kemudahan penggunaan dan navigasi, tampilan visual, integrasi media pembelajaran, dan manfaat media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan termasuk kedalam kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan analisis angket respon guru dan respon siswa yang dinilai berdasarkan 10 indikator dan aspek penilaian, memperoleh persentase sebesar 98% dengan skor sebanyak 39 dari respon guru dan persentase sebesar 97% dengan skor sebanyak 58 berdasarkan respon siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning media is important in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. At SD Negeri Gumelem IPAS subjects combine Natural and Social Sciences to increase the relevance of the material to real life and develop critical skills, communication, collaboration and innovation. The research and development (R&D) method was used to create innovative learning media. The development of monopoly game as a media for grade IV students helps to improve motivation and learning outcomes. At SD Negeri Gumelem and SD Negeri 02 Siwalan, the results showed an increase in the average score from 59.16 in the pre-test to 76.94 in the post-test. MOJA learning media was validated by experts with a score of 85.71% and 96.71%, categorized as "Very Feasible". The trial on grade IV students showed significant improvement. This media is effective and recommended to support the teaching and learning process, especially the material of the Hindu Buddhist Kingdom.
