Abstract

Potensi Sumber daya Alam (SDA) pada bidang peternakan terus mengalami peningkatan di Desa Sumber Mulya Kabupaten Lamandau. Peningkatan terjadi sebab masyarakat di Desa Sumber Mulya Kabupaten Lamandau mulai mengembangkan usaha peternakan. Meningkatnya keinginan masyarakat terhadap usaha ternak selaras dengan kebutuhan konsumsi protein hewani yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun.  Hal tersebut akan berjalan selaras dengan adanya pengelolaan manajemen peternakan dengan baik. Permasalahan yang sering timbul ialah ternak tidak selalu bunting dalam tiap tahunnya. Rata-rata masyarakat masih menggunakan kawin alam sebagai alternatif pengembangan usaha peternakan khususnya sapi potong. Permasalahan ini semakin di perkuat dengan melemahnya deteksi berahi dan sistem rekording. Inseminasi Buatan (IB) merupakan salah satu teknologi reproduksi ternak apabila diterapkan akan efisien dan sistem kawin dan kebuntingan pada ternak dapat diatur. Perbandingan kawin alam 1 pejantan hanya bisa mengawinin 1 ekor betina akan tetapi jika menggunakan IB masyarakat tidak perlu membeli pemacek/pejantan cukup dilakukan secara inseminasi. Hal tersebut tentunya harus didukung oleh perencanaan IB dengan baik agar target kebuntingan tercapai. Metode partisipatif masyarakat melalui penyuluhan dan diskusi bersama masyarakat akan menghasilkan studi kasus dan dapat dipecahkan bersama melalui penjelasan gambar dalam brosur akan memberikan pemahaman lebih sederhana dan dipahami masyarakat.

Abstract

Safflower, were extracted using propanol solvent at different time intervals: 10, 20, and 30 min at a constant temperature of 40°C. The extracts were analyzed by GC/MS technique. The major compounds identified were tetrapentacontane, tetracontane, triacontanol, gamma sitosterol, myristic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, oleic acid, and lauric acid. However, some levels of palmidrol, beta-amyrin, cubenol, and tocopherol were also found in safflower extracts. Most of the volatile compounds were detected between 10–30 min time of extraction. The 30 min time of extraction also showed the maximum content of polyphenols and antioxidants in safflower extracts. Thus, 30 min was suggested as the most suitable time for maximum extraction of bioactive volatiles, antioxidants, and polyphenols from Safflower using propanol solvent.

Abstract

Polutry farming in Central Kalimantan has shown a positive trend in the last 3 years. The increase in chicken farming causes the use of livestock rations to increase. Feeding is the largest contributor to production costs in the chicken farming industry, contributing 70-80% of production costs. The current increase in feed prices means that farmers have to look for new innovations to overcome this problem, where the price of animal feed rations is relatively cheaper and the nutrition obtained by livestock is still achieved. The innovation that can be used is using palm oil waste as a substitute for corn and rice bran. Palm kernel meal (BIS) is a by-product of the palm oil industry where the nutritional content obtained by BIS is very suitable as an alternative animal feed in terms of nutritional content and is easy to obtain at a relatively cheaper price. However, there is no model for formulating animal feed rations. So in this research, a model of animal feed ration formulation was created using the linear programming method to determine the optimal composition for preparing this animal feed ration. The objective function of this model is to minimize the price of animal feed rations. Before the model is used, model verification and validation is carried out which is useful for testing logical suitability and compatibility with the real system. The results of the model that has been created can reduce the cost of producing animal feed rations is 11%, which is the actual condition Rp. 6,800 and the model obtained is Rp. 6,114 where the nutrition obtained is relatively the same as actual conditions. Abstract

Saanen goats have low semen volume per ejaculation but high concentration. This study was conducted at the Singosari Center Artificial Insemination (SCAI), Malang Regency, East Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using various diluents on the quality of Saanen goat semen. The samples used consisted of 3 male Saanen goats with body weights of 32.5 kg, 43 kg and 44.5 kg with ages of 1.5-2 years. The use of various different diluents consisted of tris aminomethane egg yolk diluent (Treatment 0), AndroMed® (Treatment I) and OvixCell® (Treatment II). The research method used a laboratory experimental method using a Randomized Block Design (RAK). Data analysis using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) if there is a significant or very significant difference then further analysis using Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the use of various different diluents had no significant effect (P>0.05) on motility, viability and spermatozoa abnormalities. The research variables included volume, color, pH, odor, consistency, spermatozoa concentration, motility, viability and abnormality. The results showed that the use of various diluents was feasible to be used as diluents and was able to maintain normal motility>40%, spermatozoa survival and abnormality (<5%) against semen freezing.

Abstract

Produk pangan umumnya diproduksi tidak hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi, tetapi mulai lebih kearah pemenuhan aspek kesehatan atau pangan fungsional. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan diversifikasi produk olahan sosis ayam dengan penambahan bawang dayak sebagai pangan fungsional tinggi antioksidan dan sehat. Pelatihan pembuatan sosis ayam dengan penambahan bawang dayak merupakan program kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan pembuatan sosis dari bahan seperti daging ayam bagian dada, tepung tapioka, minyak, merica bubuk, susu skim bubuk, garam, kaldu bubuk, es batu dan bawang dayak. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan cara membuat sosis ayam dengan penambahan bawang dayak skala rumahan yang sehat bagi ibu PKK kemudian untuk menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan dalam menunjang pendapatan ekonomi keluarga dan menjadi sarana cemilan sehat untuk anak. Penambahan bawang dayak pada produk sosis diharapkan dapat menghasilkan produk olahan daging fungsional khususnya sosis ayam. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah para Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK) di Desa Sumber Mulya. Metode kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan demonstrasi serta memberikan konsultasi tentang cara pengolahan sosis ayam dengan penambahan bawang dayak. Hasil dengan diadakan pelatihannya ini dapat mengembangkan potensi tumbuhan lokal yaitu bawang dayak yang ditambahkan ke produk sosis ayam sehingga dapat memanfaatkan kandungan antioksidan sebagai pangan fungsional. Kemudian terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK) di Desa Sumber Mulya Mengenai cara pengolahan sosis ayam dengan penambahan bawang dayak namun masih perlu pendampingan dalam pengembangannya. Selain itu juga pelatihan ini dapat menjadi usaha dan produk khas desa sumber mulya.

Abstract

KKN Reguler IAIN Kendari Angkatan VIII Tahun 2022 melakukan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Alo-Alo Kecamatan Lembo Kabupaten Konawe Utara. Pengabdian ini bertujuan terciptanya perubahan dan kesadaran dari kepribadian remaja untuk dapat lebih bisa memanfaatkan potensi dan aset yang dimiliki. Usaha-usaha yang dilakukan sengaja diarahkan agar bagaimana remaja ini bisa berubah, berinisiatif, dan berkreativitas secara mandiri untuk merubah mindset diri yang sebelumnya malas dan pasif. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan pendampingan ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Dengan melakukan pemberdayaan remaja di Desa Alo-Alo  diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan komunitas remaja dalam mengidentifikasi masalah yang dihadapi, potensi yang dimiliki, merencanakan dan melakukan pemecahannya dengan memanfaatkan potensi setempat. Setelah dilakukan pengabdian yang dilakukan, terlihat perubahan dari hasil pengabdian yang telah dilakukan. Adapun perubahan yang paling utama dari remaja yakni lebih bisa mengembangkan kreatifitasnya untuk belajar dan mengikuti pelatihan kader TPQ yang mengutamakan pengajaran BTQ sehingga pembelajaran berlangsung secara optimal sekaligus memperkuat komunitas remaja tersebut.  Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Remaja, TPQ, BTQ, Pendekatan ABCD, Desa Alo-Alo

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the implementation of Web-Based Transportation Management Systems (Web-TMS) to identify key technologies, methodologies, and factors influencing operational efficiency in modern transportation industries. The research method refers to the PRISMA 2020-2025 guidelines, including the stages of identification, screening, and thematic synthesis of 20 relevant scientific articles The reviewed literature highlights various modern approaches, including transportation network optimization (Bešinović, 2020), the application of artificial intelligence for mobility planning (Guevara & Cheein, 2020; Humayun et al., 2022), and the integration of big data and predictive models in traffic management systems (Wu et al., 2022; Yang et al., 2020). Several studies also emphasize the importance of real-time monitoring, fleet management, and operational automation to improve service reliability (Gohar & Nencioni, 2021; Skibniewski et al., 2014). Other references focus on sustainability and infrastructure resilience, including energy efficiency and advanced materials in modern transportation systems (Oladimeji et al., 2023; Rudskoy et al., 2021; Heinbach et al., 2022). Overall, this literature review indicates that the implementation of a web-based Transportation Management System is a strategic approach to addressing the increasing complexity of contemporary transportation, as it integrates route optimization, real-time tracking, data-driven analytics, and intelligent decision-making into a single platform. This integration not only enhances operational efficiency but also supports sustainability and digital transformation in the transportation sector.

Abstract

ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTS Indigenous communities read animal signs as early warnings for nature events Shared experiences shape how different animal behaviours gain meaning Local wisdom shows animals as sensitive partners in human survival   ABSTRACTObserving animal behavior and daily activities can help humans gain knowledge and derive practical benefits. A mixed-method approach, combining desk-based study and telephone interviews, was employed to collect data from seven major Papuan tribal groups. The desk study involved the collection of approximately 2,000 references published between 1980 and 2020 using keyword-based searches conducted with specialized software. Data were also provided by leaders from the seven major communities. The collected data were analyzed using Rayyan, VoS Viewer, Crammer’s Phi, and Microsoft Excel. The principal findings indicate that 14 publications addressed topics related to animal signaling and community beliefs. The animals recognized by the seven major tribal group as exhibiting signals included mammals (52%), fish (8%), reptiles (12%), amphibians (8%), birds (4%), and insects (16%). Animals were reported to convey signals through vocalizations (sounds), appearance, body parts, wastes, tracks, constructed objects, and odors. The result of Crammer’s Phi analysis showed (168) = 219.48, P = 0.0046, df = 168,  = 0.05 and 0.01, and φc = 0.0105 (1%). This results indicate a significant association between perceived values in interpreting animal signals and tribal community groups in West Papua. A Cartesian graph demonstrated low-to-high levels of both animal signaling and beliefs. Beliefs and practices related to animal sensitivity and communication vary across cultures and communities worldwide. Many indigenous communities maintain a deep spiritual connection with nature and animals, viewing them as sentient beings with their own forms of communication and sensitivity.

Abstract

Freshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a high-value aquaculture commodity with rapid growth and strong adaptability. However, the high cost of feed—accounting for 60–70% of total production expenses—remains a major constraint for farmers. The use of alternative plant–animal feed combinations offers a potential solution to reduce production costs without compromising nutritional quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of different proportions of alternative feed combinations on the absolute weight gain of freshwater lobster juveniles, determine the most optimal feed composition, describe growth patterns, and evaluate water quality as a supporting factor. The research was conducted for four weeks using an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments and five replications. The results showed that feed combinations had a highly significant effect on growth. Treatment D (25% plant-based + 75% animal-based feed) produced the highest absolute weight gain of 10 g, indicating that animal protein plays a dominant role, while plant-based nutrients remain essential for balanced nutrition. Overall, plant–animal alternative feed combinations effectively enhanced the growth of freshwater lobster juveniles and present a cost-efficient alternative to commercial feed for farmers.

Abstract

Ketersediaan pakan merupakan salah satu kendala utama dalam pengembangan peternakan rakyat, khususnya di wilayah pesisir yang rawan kekurangan pakan pada musim tertentu. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas peternak kambing melalui pemanfaatan limbah perikanan dan pertanian sebagai bahan baku pakan alternatif dalam bentuk permen ternak. Program dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Tani Ternak Milenial (KATEME) di Kelurahan Lalampanua, Kabupaten Majene, dengan melibatkan 15 orang anggota kelompok. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei lapangan, wawancara mitra, penyuluhan, serta praktik pembuatan permen ternak berbasis bahan lokal, khususnya limbah hasil perikanan dan rumput laut. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dari 49 pada pre-test menjadi 75 pada post-test. Peningkatan paling signifikan terjadi pada aspek pemanfaatan hasil laut (22 menjadi 80), pengetahuan tentang permen ternak (22 menjadi 67), dan cara pembuatan permen ternak (11 menjadi 53). Sementara itu, indikator yang sejak awal sudah tinggi, seperti pengetahuan bahan pakan lokal dan pemanfaatan limbah perikanan, menunjukkan stabilitas pemahaman peserta. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal sebagai pakan alternatif. Inovasi permen ternak berbasis limbah perikanan tidak hanya berpotensi mengurangi ketergantungan pada pakan konvensional, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan usaha peternakan rakyat melalui optimalisasi sumber daya yang tersedia di lingkungan sekitar.
