Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of: 1) the managerial ability of the madrasa principal on teacher performance, 2) the example of the madrasa head on teacher performance, 3) the effect of managerial ability and the example of the madrasa principal simultaneously on the performance of teachers at Private MTs Pondok Aren District. This research is quantitative research using survey method and analytic descriptive approach. The population that became the object of research were all private madrasah tsanawiyah (MTs) teachers with a total sample of 145 teachers. Collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is correlation and regression techniques. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) there is a significant effect of the managerial ability of the madrasah head on teacher performance of 33.68%, 2) there is a significant effect of the exemplary head of the madrasa on teacher performance of 7.08%, 3) there is an effect of managerial ability and the simultaneous example of the madrasah principal on teacher performance is 40.8%, the better the managerial ability and exemplary principal of the madrasah, the teacher's performance will increase. These findings imply that the managerial ability and example of the madrasah principal are two factors that have an influence on teacher performance, but there are many other factors that influence the performance of MTs swasta teachers in Pondok Aren District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji optimasi sistem agroforestry melalui pemanfaatan Internet of Things (IoT) di sebuah desa binaan, serta pengaruh intervensi tersebut terhadap produktivitas lahan, pendapatan rumah tangga tani, dan kesejahteraan komunitas. Pendekatan penelitian menggabungkan desain eksperimental terapan (pilot), pemantauan sensor IoT (kelembaban tanah, suhu, sensor cuaca, dan monitoring perawatan tanaman), serta survei kuantitatif dan wawancara kualitatif dengan petani peserta program. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi IoT dalam praktik Agroforestry memfasilitasi pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, memungkinkan pengaturan irigasi dan aplikasi nutrisi yang lebih presisi, yang secara konsisten dikaitkan dengan peningkatan efisiensi produksi dan pengurangan kerugian produksi. Selain itu, adopsi praktik Agroforestry yang didukung teknologi memperkuat diversifikasi sumber pendapatan dan memberikan jalur peningkatan kesejahteraan melalui penambahan pendapatan non-musiman dan pengurangan kerentanan terhadap guncangan iklim. Hasil ini konsisten dengan bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa Agroforestry meningkatkan layanan ekosistem dan potensi pendapatan bagi rumah tangga tani (Miller, 2019; Castle, 2022), serta literatur yang menilai peran IoT dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan manajemen pertanian modern (Duguma, 2024; Kumar, 2024). Implikasi kebijakan menekankan perlunya program subsidi awal, pelatihan teknis untuk petani, dan mekanisme pembiayaan yang memadai agar teknologi IoT dapat diadopsi secara inklusif di komunitas pedesaan.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the various forms of communication of da'wah bi al-Lisān in the Koran. This article is based on a literature review or library research, using qualitative methods. The analytical approach used is content analysis and is described using descriptive analysis methods. The research results show that there are five types of bi al-Lisān da'wah communication contained in the Al-Qur'an. The five types of da'wah communication are communicating with correct words (qaulan sadīdan), communicating with eloquent words (qaulan balīghan), communicating with noble words (qaulan karīman), communicating with easy words (qaulan maisūran) and communicating with good words. gentle (qaulan layyinan). All of these communication patterns can be implemented in everyday communication according to the context, conditions and interlocutor. This research is limited to studying various types of communication from an Al-Qur'an perspective, so future research needs to perfect this study by discussing effective communication in an educational environment from an Al-Qur'an perspective through more comprehensive methods and approaches.

Abstract

This study primarily focuses on enhancing the academic achievement in Geography among students of Class XI IPS 4 at SMA Negeri 1 Cibitung through the implementation of the Scramble cooperative learning model. The research was initiated in response to the issue of low average daily assessment scores (65), which fell below the established Minimum Completeness Criteria (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal or KKM) of 72. This condition was attributed to the predominance of conventional lecture methods and a decline in student concentration during afternoon sessions. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted across three progressive cycles, each encompassing the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects comprised 34 students from Class XI IPS 4. Data analysis revealed a positive and consistently significant trend in learning outcomes across each cycle. In the first cycle, the average post-test score was 66. This increased to 70.52 in the second cycle and experienced a significant surge to 81.41 in the third cycle. Furthermore, the classical completeness rate at the end of Cycle III was recorded at 85.29%, effectively surpassing the predetermined success indicator of 75%. Consequently, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Scramble technique is proven effective in stimulating student motivation and conceptual understanding through creative material arrangement activities.

Abstract

Cognitive decline is one of the health problems often experienced by the elderly due to the ageing process, which can affect their ability to remember, concentrate, and maintain independence in daily activities. Physical activity plays an important role in maintaining cognitive function by increasing blood flow to the brain, stimulating neuroplasticity, and slowing down the degenerative process. This study aims to analyse the relationship between physical activity and cognitive function in elderly at Anggrek Health Centre in Japan Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto. This study used a quantitative method with a correlational analytical design and a cross-sectional approach. A total of 73 elderly people were sampled using total sampling technique. Physical activity was measured using the Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly (PASE), while cognitive function was assessed using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). The data were analysed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the majority of elderly people were in the active physical activity category (68.5%) and had normal cognitive function (67.1%). There was a significant relationship between physical activity and cognitive function (p = 0.001), where physically active elderly people tended to have better cognitive function. These findings emphasise the importance of encouraging regular physical activity as a promotional and preventive measure to maintain the cognitive health of elderly people at the community level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang efektif dalam menangani konflik dilembaga pendidikan Islam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan studi literatur sebagai Teknik pengumpulan datanya. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam metode deskriptif ini adalah berupa kata-kata, kalimat, gambar dan perilaku. Adapun Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penegasan kesimpulan. Dalam studi ini menggungkapkan bahwa konflik akan terjadi secara alamiah baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Hal ini karena konflik memiliki muatan aktualisasi dan persaingan individu anggota Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dalam mencapai tujuan profesi dan Lembaga. Terdapat beberapa sudut pandang dalam melihat konflik yang terjadi, pertama, Secara tradisonal, konflik dianggap sesuatu yang burukkarenanya konflik sangat dihindari, kedua pandangan hubungan manusia memandang konflik sesuatu yang wajar karena dengan konflik akan memicu kinerja Lembaga, ketiga, pandangan interaksionis memandang konflik sebagai sesuatu yang positif. Strategi yang efektif digunakan untuk mengelolah konflik di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam yaitu kolaborasi, kompromi, penghindaran diri, penyesuaian diri dan negosiasi. Komunikasi merupakan kunci utama dalam mengatasi konflik dengan menjalankan fungsi komunikasi seperti fungsi kontrol, motivasi, ekspresi emosional, dan informasi. Kata Kunci : Strategi Komunikasi, penanganan konflik, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study surveys the role of continuing education in bridging the digital skills gap within the Nigerian public sector and its implications on national development. The study relied on the descriptive research design and exclusively on secondary data wihile adopting the Diffusion Inovation Theory as it theoretical framework. Findings from the study reveasls that the level of digital proficiency among government workers remains dismal, with significant disparities across ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), and between federal, state, and local levels. While basic ICT literacy, such as word processing and email, is fairly widespread, advanced competencies in areas like data analytics, cybersecurity, and e-governance are notably lacking. This deficiency undermines the effectiveness of e-government platforms and public service delivery. Although several initiatives, including NITDA’s Digital Literacy Programme and OHCSF’s e-Learning Platform, have made contributions to digital skills in public sector. However, challenges such as inadequate funding, poor infrastructure, outdated curricula, weak policy coordination, and low motivation impede progress. The study recommends targeted interventions by agencies including OHCSF, NITDA, FMCIDE, PSIN, SERVICOM, and civil service commissions to institutionalize continuing education, modernize training content, enhance awareness, increase investment in ICT, and strengthen accountability frameworks as strategic priorities for national development.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong perubahan dalam sistem transaksi ekonomi, termasuk pada usaha mikro seperti warung tradisional. Digitalisasi pembayaran menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi transaksi serta memberikan kemudahan bagi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses transformasi warung tradisional menjadi warung digital melalui penerapan sistem pembayaran berbasis QR Payment pada Warung Bu Mur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Matthew B. Miles dan A. Michael Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi warung digital dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengenalan teknologi pembayaran digital kepada pemilik warung, pendaftaran QRIS melalui penyedia layanan pembayaran digital, pemasangan kode QR di area kasir, serta edukasi kepada pelanggan mengenai penggunaan QR Payment. Implementasi sistem pembayaran digital memberikan berbagai manfaat seperti kemudahan dan kecepatan transaksi, peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan, serta pencatatan transaksi yang lebih tertata. Namun demikian, penerapan sistem pembayaran digital juga menghadapi beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan literasi digital pelaku usaha, kebiasaan sebagian pelanggan yang masih menggunakan uang tunai, serta ketergantungan pada jaringan internet. Transformasi digital ini menunjukkan bahwa warung tradisional dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi digital dan meningkatkan daya saing usaha.
