Abstract

Cyberloafing merupakan perilaku individu yang 1menggunakan internet1 untuk keperluan7 pribadinya seperti mengakses sosial media, bermain game serta mengakses e-commerce selama perkuliahan berlangsung yang tidak ada kaitannya dengan pembelajaran, dimana hal itu dapat menimbulkan ketidakfokusan individu selama dikelas. Cyberloafing menjadi sebuah masalah yang berada di lingkungan para mahasiswa, dimana hal ini berhubungan dengan kemampuan self-regulated learning individu sebagai salah satu faktornya. Self-regulated learning adalah cara seseorang secara mandiri dan bertanggung jawab untuk bisa mengatur, mengkondisikan serangkaian aktivitas belajar dengan mengaktifkan kognisi, motivasi7 dan 1perilakunya untuk mencapai7 tujuan-tujuan3 akademik yang sudah ditetapkannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi self-regulated learning terhadap cyberloafing pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Negeri Padang angkatan 2020-2022. Adapun sampel penelitian berjumlah 344 orang, dengan jumlah perempuan 279 orang dan laki-laki berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwasanya uji regresi sederhana memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 <0.05 yang artinya terdapat kontribusi self-regulated learning terhadap cyberloafing pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Padang. Hasil koefisien juga diperoleh sebesar 0.140 atau 14%, dimana self-regulated learning memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap cyberloafing sebesar 14% dan sisanya 86% dijelaskan oleh faktor lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi self-esteem terhadap resiliensi pada remaja korban bullying di kota Batusangkar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan remaja korban bullying di SMA “X” di kota Batusangkar berjumlah 62 sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala self-esteem yang berjumlah 20 item dengan koefisien 0,742 dan skala resiliensi yang berjumlah 37 item dengan koefisien 0,836. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi sederhana didapatkan koefisien korelasi 0,283 dengan nilai p (signifikan) 0,026 < 0,05, sehingga dapat dikatakan H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji hipotesis terdapat nilai R Square sebesar 0,080 dengan demikian kontribusi self-esteem terhadap resiliensi sebesar 8%.. Hasil peneliti menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi self-esteem terhadap resiliensi remaja korban bullying di kota batusangkar dengan arah hubungan positif.

Abstract

Is a critical developmental period characterized by significant physical and psychological changes. Teenagers living in orphanages, in particular, experience stress due to internal and external demands. This study aims to determine the description of stress levels in teenagers living in orphanages in Padang City in terms of gender differences. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study was random sampling which amount 268 people in 6 different orphanages in Padang city. The instrument used was the DASS 14 questionnaire, with a cross-sectional study research design. The results of the hypothesis test using the Mann-Whitney test indicate a significance value of 0.001. Since the p-value (0.001) is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in stress levels between male and female adolescents living in orphanages in Padang City. The study results show that the stress levels of adolescents in the orphanage tend to be low. However, the orphanage management should still anticipate factors that could increase the stress levels of these adolescents.

Abstract

Academic stress is a condition that occurs when a person faces excessive and unachievable demands in an educational environment. This study aims to analyze the factors of academic stress in college students. The research method used is a quantitative method with a research sample of 206 active students in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with principal component factor reduction method and varimax rotation. The results obtained five factors that form academic stress in students, including relationship factors with others, fatigue factors, self-adjustment factors, conflict factors and economic factors.

Abstract

Difficulties in beginning reading skills in second-grade students, especially those who show characteristics of dyslexia, are still a challenge in basic education. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Marbel application in improving beginning reading skills in dyslexic children. The approach used was a quantitative method with Single Subject Research (SSR) A-B-A experimental design. Data were obtained through a reading test adapted from an instrument developed by Sonia Triandani Yolanda and Damri (2022), with a reliability coefficient of 0.979. The research subjects were second-grade students of SDN 28 Batipuh. The results of the visual analysis of graph data show that in the initial baseline phase (A1), the subject has a stable reading ability level of 13% for five observations. In the intervention phase (B) which lasted for six observations, there was an increase in reading ability, with a stable achievement at 87%. Furthermore, in the final baseline phase (A2), after four observations, reading ability further increased to reach 92%. The findings show that Marbel app is an effective learning media in improving beginning reading skills for children with dyslexia at the primary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of job demand on employee well-being among cellphone sales employees in West Sumatra. Job demands are various physical, psychological, social, or organizational aspects of a job that require sustained physical and/or psychological effort, so that they are associated with certain physiological and/or psychological costs, while employee well-being is a positive emotional condition that reflects mental well-being, satisfaction at work, and happiness in life related to their overall work experience and role. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. In this research, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling with data collected via a Google Form questionnaire involving 116 respondents from cellphone sales employees in West Sumatra. This research data was obtained using a Likert scale and then analyzed using simple regression analysis. Data analysis shows that there is a significant negative relationship between job demand and employee well-being with a contribution value of 78%. This shows that the higher the employee's job demands, the lower the welfare of cellphone sales employees.
